Say hello to my new beautiful Miss Dior peep toes! I love the combination of fuchsia silk and black lace. I wore those beauties to the photo shoot for the launch of Dior Addict Extrême in Paris yesterday. More to follow…
Thank you, Dior, for this dream!
In the meantime, enjoy your weekend!

Today, I am off to Paris for an exciting event with Dior Addict Extrême. To get you in the French mood, I would like to show you some photos of the Mandarin Oriental Paris that opened its doors last June and where I stayed during Haute Couture Fashion Week. For more information on the hotel, please click here for the previous post.
I thought that you might like the photos of my Deluxe room to get a better idea of the beautiful interior design. The service was outstanding and the location on the rue Saint Honoré is absolutely fantastic. The famous concept store Colette is just down the street.
My new Paris favourite!

For my Swiss and German based readers: My new fashion column for the SI Style magazine is available now.
This time, I am telling you more about my recent trip to Florence for LuisaViaRoma’s 4th edition of Firenze4Ever and my gold metallic foil-covered wool coat by Stella McCartney that unfortunately left a trace of unremovable glitter behind it.
LoL, Sandra

During New York Fashion Week, at the Lincoln Center, Barbie threw open the sparkly, pink doors of her Dream Closet.
It’s a special 9,000 square-foot installation with all kinds of looks to pick from and try on, a demonstration of what kids can do at home on their own computers if they visit BarbieWow.com and have webcams.
The real attraction were the Barbie “dressing rooms,” where you pose while your picture is snapped on a giant screen, then allowing you to “try on” some of your favorite B-doll costumes.
Stephanie Cota, Barbie’s senior vice president of marketing, has been active during Fashion Week for several years. There was a runway show in 2009 for the doll’s 50th anniversary, featuring outfits by 50 designers who included Vera Wang, Diane von Furstenberg and Calvin Klein.
In all, 75 couture designers have outfitted Barbie over the years. Cota and her Mattel crew were loaded with Barbie tidbits: There’s a “Barbie Pink” Pantone colour and more than 1 billion outfits produced for her since she first hit stores as a “teenage fashion model” in 1959 wearing a black-and-white zebra stripe swimsuit.

I am completely exhausted but so happy! The last days were filled with so many exciting moments and lots of fun. Here you see me yesterday night having dinner with some friends at the ABC Kitchen after the Polyvore Live fashion show which was amazing! If you would like to know who was at the dinner, check out the secretstylist by clicking here.
You can see the braid and the make-up look I wore for one of the outfits on the catwalk. Red lips and only mascara. On my nails: silver (Reade) and blue (Commerce) only on the ring finger from Ten Over Ten.
Here is my Valentine’s Day treat: This gorgeous “punk”-style purple fur bag by Tom Ford. It has a hidden mirror in the handle and comes with a flap-over closure. Completely in love!
Happy Valentine’s Day to you!
And don’t forget if there is nobody to treat you, treat yourself!

Tonight, I went after the Tommy Hilfiger F/W 2012 show straight to the Bloglovin’ Awards (I promise you that there will be soon a Bloglovin’ button to the left to follow me there).
The event took place at the famous Edison Ballroom right off Broadway. I spotted many familiar faces and had a truly good time.
Derek Blasberg presented the awards and needless to say was very sarcastic and humorous.
Olivia Palermo who won with her team in the category Newcomer of the Year.
I am repeating myself, but I love him! He is gorgeous: The famous Bryan Boy!
Sweet Carolina Engman (Fashionsquad) and Andy Torres (Style Scrapbook) who won Best Business with Werelse.
Olivia Palermo with me.
Leandra Medine from the Man Repeller (love her humour) with me.
Tibi designer and owner Amy Smilovic with me. Stay tuned for awesome photos from the Tibi F/W 2012 show where I was sitting front row!

I am so busy here in NYC that I barely have time to post. During the last days, I saw many beautiful shows. So please stay tuned for many photos to follow.
Let me get you started with the Tommy Hilfiger Men F/W 2012 show that took place inside the Park Avenue Armory. An amazing set that was surely high-budget was waiting for the fashion crowd. In the little park complete with trees surrounded by a brick-style runway were little tables with chairs.
It wouldn’t be Tommy if there weren’t celebrities. (Remember the last season when I met Ed Westwick and James Marsden, for the previous post, please click here).
This time, it was sexy actor Bradley Cooper (I am not sure about his moustache) and New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz that were sitting front row. Please click here for a photo of Bradley and me together at the show, in case you haven’t seen it yet.
The main inspiration for the Tommy Hilfiger Men F/W 2012 collection „CADET ACADEMY“ was obviously the military. Its theme ran through nearly every piece, from four stripes at the wrist cuffs of coats to peacoats with chain embroidery. Reminiscent of West Point, the models walked the runway in lots of leather pieces, in rich tones of burgundy, midnight navy and forest green. Pants tucked into boots and suiting for every occassion gave an interesting twist to the collection. Below you can see some of my favourite looks:
„It is inspired by the lifestyle of a young cadet whose uniforms range from military prep to the sporting life, all infused with hints of rock influence. His academy look is sophisticated in its modernity, a touch rebellious but still buttoned up. The hybridization of his pursuits creates a youthful take on classic traditions, reinforcing that functionality and spirit coexist.“
– Tommy Hilfiger
I loved the collection and Tommy’s red socks… and you?

Breaking horrible news: Famous singer Whitney Houston dies at age 48. From the middle 1980s to the late 1990s, Whitney was the golden girl of the music industry. During the last years, she was known for drug abuse but the actual cause for her death is not known yet. It was already a tragic fall for such a superstar. Let’s keep her glamourous look and her fantastic voice in mind. After Amy Winehouse, another tragic loss.
Whitney, we will always love you! R.I.P.!
LoL, Sandra
Yesterday was a pretty busy day and I have so much to show and tell you. So let me get you started with my outfit:
Belted shearling coat and colour block dress, both by Gucci, Laurent studded bag by Yves Saint Laurent, resin bead necklace by Marni, Diorette ring by Dior Haute Joaillerie and ankle boots by Stella McCartney.
It seems to be my “lucky outfit”…
At the Tommy Hilfiger Men F/W 2012 show…
…spotted: Bradley Cooper.
Later on my way to the Charlotte Ronson F/W 2012 show, spotted: Nicky Hilton.
Then I went to the Soho House for the reward Style™ party.
Spotted: Connor Cruise, son of Tom Cruise and ex-wife Nicole Kidman, was the DJ at the party.
What night! Off to more exciting things today!
LoL, Sandra
