Recently, I received a bouquet of flowers that took my breath away. The packaging, a turquoise box was just perfect, to store the hand-tied blooming roses that were full of scent. The mastermind behind this idea is 32 year-old Martin Schgaguler who never expected to work as a florist but a passion for great floral design and a frustration with the lack of innovation and design skills when he bought flowers for his girlfriend, led him to build PANAMY.

This tape dispenser comes packaged with a roll of its 3M Scotch Magic Tape. I couldn’t resist the pink one and bought mine in Gstaad at a stationery shop for CHF 14.50.

One of my new year’s resolutions is to stay fit and healthy. So better start today rather than shape up tomorrow. Here you see me this afternoon during a winter hike in the area of Gstaad.

A Happy 2015 to everyone! I hope that you started the New Year as wonderful as I did. The last day of the year was just perfect. The sky was crisp blue, the sun was shining and I had a lovely fondue lunch at Wassergrat on top of the mountain where I enjoyed the most stunning views over the Alps. If you are there, you have to try their meringue dessert. It is to die for.

New Year’s Eve itself, I spent at the Gstaad Palace Hotel, a night among friends that was truly perfect. To a prosperous 2015 that hopefully will be as fantastic as it started.
