French fashion house Jacquemus has partnered with luxury hotel group Four Seasons to create a summer experience at The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort, Bahamas.  This close encounter between one of Europe’s leading fashion brands and the legendary Ocean Club will immerse guests in the Jacquemus world of «pop luxury» befitting of a destination that has been a playground for the international jet set since the 1960s.

Les Sculptures, a Jacquemus Boutique

CARLO, The Ocean Club’s on-site boutique, has transformed into a Jacquemus shopping experience, featuring selections for men and women from the brand’s Spring-Summer Ready to Wear Collection.  First unveiled in January at La Fondation Maeght in the South of France, founder and designer Simon Port Jacquemus’ signature designs and bold silhouettes were presented among sculptures by Giacometti, Braque, Calder and others.

Jacquemus at the Versailles and Ocean Pools

The collaboration continues with a reimagining of The Ocean Club resort experience at the iconic Versailles and Ocean Pools.  Jacquemus has designed fabrics for loungers, accent pillows, sunshades and pool toys that are printed with a hand-painted stripe pattern in combinations of black/white, yellow/white, blue/white and red/white.

The Versailles Pool is surrounded by tropical landscaping, and towering palms set the tone for a serene adults-only oasis.  The Ocean Pool, perched above the shoreline is 38-metres (125-feet) of infinity-edge turquoise water with the Atlantic Ocean as its backdrop.

Four Seasons at Home: The Ocean Club, in Partnership with Jacquemus, Debuts a Must-Have Pool Towel

In celebration of this collaboration, Jacquemus has designed a luxe towel in bold black and white stripes exclusively for Four Seasons.  Generously sized at 100 by 180 centimetres (40 by 70 inches) the towel is finely crafted in Portugal from 100 percent cotton.

Polo Ralph Lauren Wimbledon Collection

The Wimbledon Championships, commonly called Wimbledon, is the oldest tennis tournament in the world and is widely regarded as the most prestigious. It’s also a showcase for fashion and style.

Since 2006, Ralph Lauren has been the official outfitter of Wimbledon, providing uniforms for on-court officials, including umpires and ball boys and girls. The brand’s classic, preppy style aligns perfectly with Wimbledon’s traditional aesthetic. You can also stand out off the court in elegant, authentic and distinctly Wimbledon styles from the women’s Polo Ralph Lauren apparel and accessories range that pays tribute to the timeless sophistication of tennis.

I was at Centre Court yesterday before heading to Johannesburg and cannot wait to tell you all about it.

My Look: Shine and Sparkle!

So much traveling behind and ahead of me and I am loving it. Here you see me two weeks ago on my way to a fantastic night at Annabel’s in London enjoying the live performance of famous DJ Black Coffee. After that I left to Saint Tropez (definitely with this clutch in my suitcase) for some fun time with friends, followed by my school reunion in Frankfurt. Yesterday, I was back in Zurich, today I am in Wimbledon and then tonight off to Johannesburg. No matter where I am and what I am doing, my motto is shine and sparkle and enjoy life to the fullest.

My look: Sequinned flared tulle jumpsuit by Halpern, St. Tropez beaded leather clutchicon by Aquazzura, Angel leather platform sandals by Gucci, silver-tone crystal clip earrings by Alessandra Rich, sunglasses by Celine, and laser-cut leather corset belt by Alaïa.

At the V&A Summer Party

Last week, I attended the V&A Summer Party that celebrated the opening of the «Naomi: In Fashion» exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. The exhibition is the first major museum show dedicated to a supermodel, honoring Naomi Campbell’s 40-year career in fashion.

The party drew a star-studded crowd, including fashion designers, celebrities, and industry insiders. Elizabeth Hurley, Tessa Thompson, Letitia Wright, Rina Lipa and more joined Campbell on the event’s red carpet.

«[It feels] overwhelming, but I just wanted everyone to get to know that side of me that they might not have known,» said Campbell.

She wore a custom dress from Boss, which sponsored her exhibition and the event. Top stylist Law Roach worked with the model on the design of the dress, which was accessorized with two diamond Bulgari snake necklaces.

The exhibition, titled «Naomi: In Fashion» spans four decades of her influential career and will run from June 22, 2024, to April 6, 2025.
Enjoy the impressions of the night!

Hermès Forever Scarves 2024

The forever scarves are heritage scarves, authentic and alive, that honor the original design in a unique and emblematic color. Neither reworked nor redesigned, they are presented in all their simplicity, true to the original drawing of the artist. This year there are four designs being honored.
This essential Hermès accessory complements any outfit. It can be worn many ways – around your neck, as a top, at the waist or as a headscarf!

COUVERTURES ET TENUES DE JOUR Forever Scarf 90

Designed by Jacques Eudel (1974)
Crème / Rouge H / Bleu / Multicolore

This emblematic scarf is part of the history of the House, whose primary inspiration has always been the horse. It offers us a beautiful glimpse of equestrian coquetry. Elegantly framed by leather bridles, ten stepping horses are having a fitting as their schedule, their stable, their wait or their presentation requires a different and adapted accoutrement. A «French-style», «American-style» or «net-style» blanket, or a chain mail camel or camarillo, Jacques Eudel’s colorful brushstrokes are so realistic and precise that the most difficult task will be to choose one.

JUNGLE LOVE Forever Scarf 90

Design by Robert Dallet (2000)
Marine / Vert / Orange

Just like these two leopards, Robert Dallet had no equal when it came to magnifying – with a continuous concern for truth – such incomparable coats, the strength of their features and the power of these feline bodies. As a collaborator of the Natural Museum of Natural History in Paris and a staunch naturalist, his work is a vibrant and necessary tribute zo the wonders of the wild. Here, he illustrates a page of love that has become an emblematic scarf in the House’s heritage. At the heart of the jungle, the lovers observe each other, a courtship performed under the curious eye of parrots, butterflies and galagos surrounding them.

EPERON D’OR Forever Scarf 90

Designed by Henri d’Origny (1974)
Caramel / Crème / Or

At first glance, it is a skillfully orchestrated composition of leather and metal, loops and circles intertwined in complex harmony – a rosette in the form of a scarf. But as the eye focuses it discerns each of the elements that give this movement its rhythm in a repetition that is as soothing as it is intriguing. An urge draws us to follow this mysterious network with no beginning and no end. Spurs, stirrups, rein hardware and riding crops with three rings of gold: the curves and straight lines of horse tack used by Cadre Noir master riders of France’s prestigious Saumur riding school established in the 19th century.

BRIDES DE GALA Forever Scarf 90

Designed by Hugo Grygkar (1957)
Noir / Crème / Gold

In 1957, Robert Dumas worked with Hugo Grygkar. He placed two bridles face to face on the floor, and immediately it became clear that the composition was perfect, a scarf with unparalleled simplicity came to life. This was followed by the talent of a precise and subtle hand, which is so dear to the House. This design reflects the first love of a House of saddlers, its attraction to the beautiful, useful, and durable, as well as the enduring legacy of a title whose sounds evoke, as Jean-Louis Dumas once noted, «dazzling ceremonial garments». The interlaced harnesses feature pieces from the Émile Hermès collection. Objects sometimes have a truly wonderful destiny.

Reopening of CHANEL Saint-Tropez

I am so excited to be back in Saint-Tropez soon. One shop I will definitely pay a visit to will be the CHANEL boutique that will once again take up residence in the heart of La Mistralée villa. In the wake of major renovation work under the direction of architect and long-time collaborator of the House, Peter Marino, this historic building will be transformed into a permanent showcase. Having hosted the CHANEL fashion collections in temporary settings every summer since 2011, the boutique will now open every year during the summer season to showcase the latest ready-to-wear collections, alongside leather goods, accessories, shoes and costume jewellery as well as a selection of watches and fine jewellery.

More than just a boutique, this setting feels like a holiday home. The façade, with its green shutters, cream-hued walls and anthracite-grey railings, blends the CHANEL codes with colours typical of Saint-Tropez. The summer villa and its conservatory open out onto a Mediterranean garden complete with a pool and pool house. A veritable invitation to sit back and relax under the Côte d’Azur sun.

This new Tropezian sanctuary has been redesigned to echo La Pausa, the villa in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin that was entirely imagined and decorated by Gabrielle Chanel, and which holds a special place in the history of the House. The whitewashed walls, stone staircase and carousel of photographs projected onto a giant screen, resonate with this iconic place. The cut-out mirrors are reminiscent of the legendary folded-mirror staircase at 31 rue Cambon as the spirit of CHANEL subtly infuses every space.

With the entrance hall dedicated to leather goods, accessories, scarves, costume jewellery and eyewear, the ground floor also houses an exclusive selection of timepieces, including the iconic J12, Première and BOY.FRIEND, and the COCO CRUSH, Camélia, Comète and N°5 jewellery collections. An exceptional conservatory welcomes the shoes. A unique chandelier, sunshades and original furniture combining pale toned fabrics and woven leather render the overall effect sublime.

The floor devoted to ready-to-wear can be reached either by a stone staircase or an all-glass elevator that plays with transparency and light. The S/S 2024 ready-to-wear collection as well as the 2023/24 Métiers d’art collection – unveiled last December in Manchester – are presented here. Two areas, each with a salon and dedicated fitting room, complete the ensemble. For an exclusive experience, one of them can be privatised. Hand-painted curtains cast a light, airy feel over the surfaces while bespoke rattan furniture, touches of powder pink and raffia create a warm ambiance in keeping with the spirit of Provence.

Works of art throughout the boutique recall the unwavering connection between the House and the art world. Several lion sculptures – referencing Gabrielle Chanel’s zodiac sign – a painting by Georges Noël, a coffee table by Agnès Debizet, two vases with a golden patina by Johan Creten, and eight ceramics painted by Pablo Picasso – a loyal friend to the couturière – all add to the poetry of the place.

Traversing the townhouse leads into the luxuriant garden, a peaceful haven of Mediterranean plants and ancient bricks. The pool tiled in specially made Italian glass mosaics and the powder-toned pool house showcasing the CHANEL COCO BEACH collection, reflect the essence of the French Riviera.
The CHANEL boutique in Saint-Tropez is an invitation to discover the world of the House against an idyllic backdrop where elegance encounters the art de vivre of the Mediterranean.

My Look: Chicago

Being back in my old home town was pure magic. Chicago, I love you. I had an amazing time celebrating a wonderful friend. I have always had a thing for tulle dresses, probably because they feel like playing dress up and are reminiscent of a ballet tutu.

My look: Strapless gathered silk-blend tulle mini dress by Monique Lhuillier, The Whirl leather clutch in pinkicon by Bottega Veneta, transparent pumps Tan-Go by Valentino, lace tights by Calzedoniaearrings with pearls, and necklace, both by Alessandra Rich, and Dynasty oversized geometric-frame sunglasses by Balenciaga.
