The shape of Egyptian pyramids is thought to represent the primordial mound from which the Egyptians believed the earth was created. There is something enticing about their structure with its mesmerizing symmetry, yet captivating simplicity. This F/W 2019 season, designers were inspired by the structural benefits of this three-dimensional triangle shape that allows an evening handbag to provide spaciousness with plenty of room to store the necessities of the night.
Personally speaking, those pyramid bags have a luxury feel, and retain an element of the mysterious that I truly love. Which one is your favorite?

This summer, I promise you that you won’t be able to walk outside without seeing someone wearing those mesh heels or strappy sandals. Just released, they already have the fashion world at fever pitch scrambling to buy a pair before they’re sold out.
Leather sandals (available in different colors, such as turquoise, white and black)
The shoes in question are created by Bottega Veneta, the Italian designer label put firmly back on the map upon securing an alum of Phoebe Philo, the former Director of Ready-to-Wear at Céline, 32-year-old Daniel Lee, as its new creative director.
Embellished leather-trimmed mesh pumps
Daniel Lee’s debut collection for Bottega Veneta focused on an «elevated way of dressing for real life» – the designer referenced Milan’s elegant street style as his starting point. His new footwear has outstanding details thanks to the angular square toe and the rubber-injected base to add stability to the fluted heel. If your size is sold out, stay calm, restocks are expected later this month.

Miuccia Prada, a true trendsetter, always goes interesting ways to introduce new product launches. For her new beautiful MIU MIU Eyewear, she presents «Head In The Clouds», a film that revolves around the female gaze, daydreaming and the Miu Miu Cloud – the latest addition to the brand’s iconic eyewear collection.
Set in the sun-dappled gardens of a country house outside of Paris, «Head In The Clouds» tells the story of a chance encounter between two girls. As Constance loses her glasses during an argument with her boyfriend, Laura stumbles upon these, discovering a new captivating interest – seeing the world through Constance’s eyes. The glasses in question make everything look rose-tinted, opening a portal to mystery, fantasy and the possibility of seeing a beautiful and elusive new friend again. The film celebrates the Miu Miu Cloud, this season’s playfully idiosyncratic cloud-shaped rimless sunglasses with lenses in multiple colors.
«Head In The Clouds» is written and directed by Agostina Gálvez and stars Marylin Lima and Calu Rivero. It is inspired by the director’s love of vintage film posters.
