I love the new print advertising campaign for Dolce & Gabbana The One and The One for Men shot by famous photographer Peter Lindbergh and again starring Scarlett Johansson and Matthew McConaughey.
Lindbergh, a master of black and white imagery, recreated a film set on a secluded beach on the outskirts of Los Angeles. In an unmistakable case of art imitating life, the campaign sees Scarlett and Matthew backstage, surrounded by spotlights, recreating a scene that has striking parallel to their own lives. Wouldn’t they make a cute couple?!

Mid May I told you about the amazing launch event of Jo Malone‘s newest fragrance PEONY & BLUSH SUEDE in London. Now, the house’s recent floral addition has finally hit the shelves.
Master perfumer Christine Nagel describes her inspiration like this: “For me this fragrance captures the connection between the craft of fragrance and couture fashion. I wanted to capture the charm of the English ballroom in the mid-20th century. The heady glamour of the Cecil Beaton era. Women elegant in couture, with peonies brought in from the great country estates, the gossip and moodiness as the night unfolds.” Below you can see some exclusive behind the scenes shots of the advertising campaign which I find extremely beautiful.
PEONY & BLUSH SUEDE COLLECTION
Top note: Red apple
Middle note: Peony
Base note: Suede
Cologne 30ml (CHF 68.00), 100ml (CHF 130.00)
Body & Hand Wash 250ml (CHF 64.00)

Home Candle 200g (CHF 82.00)
Combine it with Jo Malone’s English Pear & Freesia to create an exquisitely juicy floral with a sensuous mellow touch, or with Saffron from the Cologne Intense Collection for an opulent mix.

When I received those stunning photos today, I fell immediately in love with their mood. Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot are behind GUCCI’s amazing F/W 2013 campaign.
Abbey Lee Kershaw as the femme fatale and Adrien Sahores as the male model grab the viewer’s attention in a second. The background shifting from deep blue to saturated black emphasizes this dark and enticing collection perfectly.

With fair skin and dark red lips, Michelle Williams made her debut as the new face of Louis Vuitton, sporting the House’s innovative new bag which is on top of my F/W 2013 wish list. Its tight lines, suggesting the penmanship of a W, outline a three-part body, which is enhanced by the blending of various materials. Being the perfect daily companion, the bag has plenty of surprises in store, both visual and tactile, of course all created with the House’s know-how.
Externally, it offers a doubly harmonious character, combining the smooth and silky surface of rare leathers with the emblematic Monogram canvas, or with a velvety tufted effect, embroidery on leather inspired by the art of tapestry. Inside, the intelligently designed space in suede leather features many different pockets, offering a logical place for all the objects which can be found in the intimate compartments of a woman’s life.
Uma Thurman was spotted recently with this new must-have at the Munich airport. Freshness, modernity, and elegance: the latest addition to the Louis Vuitton family has every sort of appeal.

Here is Nicole Kidman‘s stunning new ad campaign for Jimmy Choo.
The sexy pictures were shot by Mikael Jansson. The famous actress, wearing a short red wig, stars as a sultry, mysterious femme fatale modeling some drool-worthy shoes from classic pumps to lattice booties and a pair of over-the-knee must-haves combined with handbags and accessories from the brand’s new F/W 2013 line. I love it and you?

The models have been photographed by Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin against a flat cardboard-like background. Those surreal shots show the amazing runway collection in perfection.

Sophistication and raw sensuality come together in Prada’s F/W 2013 campaign, shot by Steven Meisel in New York.
A stellar ensemble of fresh new faces such as Amanda Murphy and Kristine Froseth star alongside iconic, era-defining stars like Christy Turlington and Freja Beha. They inhabit seductively stark scenes, the pivotal characters in an enigmatic portrait of femininity.

The Mediterranean love story of Dolce & Gabbana’s LIGHT BLUE fragrances returns with a fascinating new chapter. This time, the two lovers chart a new course, with Italian model Bianca Balti cast as a classic Mediterranean beauty who takes the lead in a game of seduction. She is irresistible to the gorgeous David Gandy.
Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana are extremely proud of Light Blue’s legacy, which includes several fragrance awards. Light Blue was also featured in an exhibition at the Museum of Arts and Design in New York as one of the century’s most groundbreaking scents.
Bianca Balti’s character portrays the Italian femme fatale in perfection.
Light Blue Pour Femme is available as EdT 50ml (€ 69), 100ml (€ 93), Shower Gel 200ml (€ 34), Body Cream 200ml (€ 36) and Deodorant Spray 150ml (€ 34).
David Gandy celebrates his third Light Blue advertising campaign with this episode.
Light Blue Pour Homme is available as EdT 40ml (€ 49), 75ml (€ 61), 125ml (€ 86), Shower Gel 200ml (€ 28), Deodorant Spray 150ml (€ 28) and Deodorant Stick 75g (€ 28).
The advertising campaign features the glittering sapphire blue waters of Capri and was shot by Mario Testino. This time the imagery has a retro Mediterranean look, with Bianca dressed in a 50s style bikini of high-waisted briefs and a balcony bra, like the seaside fashion of Capri when Elizabeth Taylor and Jacqueline Kennedy holidayed there. The island has always been one of Italy’s most beautiful summer playgrounds and the backdrop to many great love affairs.
Below you can enjoy some exclusive behind the scenes shots. David and Bianca look so stunning together… I love it.

The pink snakeskin trend for accessories has been spreading like wildfire recently, especially the softer and dustier versions of the feminine shade. Think baby or powdered pink and set the tone for a new reptile-inspired season. Carry those must-haves to channel your own sophistication.

Roberto Cavalli has brought the reptile trend to the beauty industry with the launch of his newest fragrance: JUST CAVALLI. The cylindrical top of the bottle and the box are embellished with a pink snake motive accentuated with golden details.
