The evening was such a great success with lots of magical surprises from a drag queen’s live act to dancers performing in big plastic bubbles.

Tiffany & Co. Partners with Daniel Arsham

Tiffany & Co. announced its latest creative venture with artist Daniel Arsham, debuting a sculpture and limited-edition bangle to celebrate the new Lock collection. Uniting Arsham and Tiffany’s shared ideals of innovation, masterful craftsmanship and rebellious creativity, the House worked with the New York-based contemporary artist to create a limited series of 99 sculptures, each entitled «Bronze Eroded Tiffany Padlock.» The «eroded» bronze sculptures reimagine a padlock design from The Tiffany Archives through Arsham’s unique, distorted aesthetic that subverts both time and space.

The padlock has an important place in Tiffany’s history as an archival motif that goes back to the late 1800s, when the House first offered its clients functioning padlocks. Today, some of its most audacious jewelry designs are modeled after them, including bangles from the new Lock Collection.

The padlock-inspired sculpture is an expression of Arsham’s «Future Relics» aesthetic, where the artist recontextualizes contemporary objects through the lens of an imagined future. The artist creates tension in time, achieved through the sculpture’s eroded quality and hand applied patina that is reminiscent of Tiffany’s proprietary hue.

Inside the sculpture is a limited-edition Tiffany & Co. x Arsham Studio Lock bangle. A bold visual statement about the personal bonds we form with each other, the Lock collection is for all genders, anchored in a single inclusive message: «No rules. All welcome.» This exclusive 18k white gold Lock bangle is handcrafted and set with diamonds and tsavorites—a vivid green legacy gemstone that the jeweler proudly introduced to the world in 1974. Tsavorite’s verdant green hue hints at both the color of the sculpture’s patina and the Arsham Studio color. This heritage of discovery aligns with the aesthetic vocabulary of Arsham’s future «discoveries.»

Gucci Good Game Collection

GG-encoded in those two simple letters is a storied system of values, and not just for Gucci. Since the 1960s, the monogram of the House’s founder Guccio Gucci has been featured across collections as a nod to its heritage. The initials similarly surface over and over again at the end of multiplayer games as competitors suddenly turn back into companions, saluting each other with the abbreviation for «good game.» This is the point of connection that Gucci Good Game explores, and that is celebrated in a special new capsule collection presented by the House.

Embraced in 2019, Gucci Good Game is the motto for the House’s ventures into the world of gaming as it creates hubs for play, self-expression, talent, freedom, and individuality – spotlighting the positive principles that are pivotal in making an enjoyable gaming experience possible. Encompassing the full spectrum of gaming from fun to professional, Gucci’s forays into the arena share a collaborative approach, involving various creators in the development of authentic experiences that aim to establish close and deep connections with gamers.

Over the years, the initiatives have seen the brand building a multifaceted presence in a select number of games as well as in immersive gaming platforms, including Roblox, The Sandbox, Zepeto, Hot Wheels Unleashed, Pokémon GO, Animal Crossing, Tennis Clash, The Sims – or partnering with XBOX to offer a limited-edition bundle. The GG initials reworked as the Gucci Good Game logo debuted with the Gucci Gaming Academy – itself a significant manifestation of the House’s principles in this field, and were prominently displayed in Gucci Town on Roblox, the persistent digital space for the Gucci Community on the platform.

Now bringing the spirit of Good Game into the House’s foundational landscape— fashion—the collection further celebrates the link between Gucci and gaming. With its double meaning, the GG becomes the defining motif of this casual-minded capsule. From bowling shirts and hoodies to slides and sneakers, metallics combine with rainbow hues to create an iridescent effect across items emblazoned with the monogram.

Echoing the exploration of new landscapes and meetings of worlds, the collection takes center stage in a visual narrative envisioned by King Kong Magazine, a collaborative project shot by photographer Piczo.

Louis Vuitton – 2022 Artycapucines Collection

The Artycapucines Collection sees six leading contemporary artists bring their unique visions to Louis Vuitton’s timeless and feminine classic: the Capucines bag.

This fourth chapter of the collection is further proof of how the iconic bag can inspire unbridled creativity. Six international artists – Amélie Bertrand, Daniel Buren, Peter Marino, Park Seo-Bo, Ugo Rondinone, and Kennedy Yanko – have transformed the blank canvas of the bag named after Rue Neuve-des-Capucines, the Parisian street on which Louis Vuitton opened his first store in 1854.

Each bag in the 2022 Artycapucines Collection will be released in a limited edition of 200 and available in Louis Vuitton stores worldwide.

Prada Drops Sixth Timecapsule NFT

Prada announces the sixth drop in its Timecapsule NFT Collection and invites members of its Timecapsule community to register for the exclusive upcoming Prada Mode event to be held in Dubai and Prada Extends event at Art Basel Miami.

On November 3, Prada will launch a further exclusive drop of new limited-edition shirts crafted using upcycled materials from Prada’s archive. This time, Prada has taken style inspiration from the 1970s: November’s shirt is a Prada reinterpretation of typical 70s-style patchwork shirts revised in a modern key with upcycled denim from the Prada Archives.

Each fabric has been pre-washed and treated separately to achieve different shades before assembling. Once assembled, the shirt was washed again to amalgamate the different treatments and complete the finished look. The shirt features characteristics typically used in denim clothes, including a hazelnut color yarn and cuts that fray with washing, alongside modern Prada details such as metal snap buttons and the classic triangle logo. While all are made in the same way, the various treatments in combination with the denim aging process over time give further rarity to the garment.

The shirt features a transfer on the back with the words «NOVEMBER» and the «UPCYCLE» patch. Each shirt comes accompanied by its own gifted NFT, which serves as an invitation to join Prada’s exclusive Crypted NFT community.

Following the unique Giveaway Experience to one lucky Timecapsule NFT holder at the Prada S/S 2023 Show in Milan in September, Prada is pleased to announce upcoming experiences of which Timecapsule NFT holders will be invited to attend.

On November 9 and 10, 2022, Prada will host in Dubai the eighth iteration of Prada Mode, featuring an installation by artist Damien Hirst – an exclusive event open to Prada Timecapsule community members. A traveling social club with a focus on contemporary culture, Prada Mode provides members with a unique art experience along with music, dining, and conversations.

On December 1, Prada Extends moves to the much-anticipated Art Basel in Miami where Timecapsule NFT Holders will be given the opportunity to attend the exclusive live event. Curated by British-born, Canadian-raised electronic musician and Prada collaborator Richie Hawtin aka Plastikman, Prada Extends is focused on and designed for creatives in different hubs around the world and interconnects like-minded figures, encapsulating the identity of each locale and its creative community.

Registration for both events will be available within the «Experiences» section inside the Prada Discord Channel. All information on the RSVP process is shared with community members on the Prada Discord Channel.

The Timecapsule opens for 24 hours on the first Thursday of every month. During the sale, a limited number of Timecapsule Collection items are available in selected markets on prada.com. Prior to delivery, Prada gives each item a unique serial number before wrapping the item in custom packaging. Upon receipt, the customers can redeem their NFT using their unique serial number.

The NFT features details of the drop, including the serial number for the accompanying physical item, establishing a connection between the digital and the physical products. Therefore, Prada customers can be assured that the rarity of their NFT corresponds to the exclusivity of their Timecapsule purchase. Timecapsule Collection NFT owners are part of a new group of Prada customers eligible to participate in exclusive activities and experiences. Prada Timecapsule NFTs are created using Ethereum blockchain infrastructure, meaning they are secure and accessible. Prada collaborates with the Aura Blockchain Consortium, which provides the underlying technology.

Slim d’Hermès Minuit au Faubourg

He is heroic and solitary, midway between comic book character and Greek divinity. With Super H, Hermès opens up a new playful and creative interlude of Time as a new object from the House.

Slim d’Hermès Minuit au Faubourg plays on the worlds of pop art and Paris to create a light, offbeat horological miniature, produced in two series of 24 timepieces each. Its theme is derived from a silk scarf designed in 2014 by Dimitri Rybaltchenko.

The Eiffel Tower stands out against a sky streaked with clouds and studded with aventurine stars, majestically overlooking the legendary sloping zinc Parisian roofs that reflect the bluish gleam of the moon and the rosy glow of the setting sun. The dome of the Invalides can be seen in the distance, along with its neighbouring obelisk on Place de la Concorde. A few streets away, the wings of the Moulin Rouge spin in the summer wind. But the essential element lies elsewhere.

Where? 24 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. This is where «Hermès Sellier» – as mentioned on the wall sign – took up residence in 1880.
On the top floor sits a secret garden surrounded by a column-lined terrace. At the call of his name, beamed as an H from the top of the Eiffel Tower, Super H is ready to take flight. His cape flutters in the wind, revealing his initial: an orange-brown «H». A superbly proud and majestic comic-strip Pegasus, he stirs the imagination: what will happen? Why was he called? Where will he fly to?

One thing is for sure: Super H will fly off draped in a soft luminescence, thanks to the artisans at Hermès Horloger. A beam of light made of Super-LumiNova is projected from the Eiffel Tower. At night, it sparkles near the dial surface, tracing the outlines of the Super H banner. All around it, the Parisian scene is hand-drawn in micro-painting. Its multiple layers – particularly the thicker one in Super-LumiNova – give the dial a slightly grainy texture, like a canvas.

Entirely hand-crafted and resulting from more than 50 hours of work, each dial will be unique, framed by a 39.5 mm white gold case and powered by the Manufacture Hermès H1950 self-winding movement. Numbered limited edition of 24.

Presented in a Baccarat crystal bottle, sealed with a fine baudruche and stamped with the CHANEL double C to preserve its precious scent, SYCOMORE Parfum is displayed in a luxurious coffret embroidered by Maison Lesage artisans.
The finest raw materials that compose the new Parfum are represented through embroidery in a rich autumnal scene depicting the olfactory atmosphere of SYCOMORE. The coffret acts as a canvas for amethyst bicone beads and passementerie pearls, symbolic of pink peppercorns and juniper berries. Thin wood shavings intertwined with golden threads recall the amber hue of the fragrance and the sycamore forest floor, littered with samaras and transected by rays of light.
Each numbered piece is a true collector’s item; «SYCOMORE and Maisons d’art» celebrates both the excellence of CHANEL Parfumeur and the unique craftsmanship of embroiderer Lesage.
