For all makeup lover, I have some great news to look forward to! After dazzling women with his modern but timeless designs on the runway and red carpet for 13 years, New York designer Zac Posen presents his debut colour collection for M·A·C which will hit the stores end of February 2016. The limited edition line will include products for eyes, lips and cheeks as well as brushes.

“Over the past 15 years I have learned a great deal from M∙A∙C about beauty. Fashion and beauty go hand-in-hand and I have always wanted to create a makeup collection to complement my designs and brand. It was only natural to work with M∙A∙C to create my first ever signature collection. I wanted to keep it luxurious, a little mysterious and clean with a large dose of star wattage,” says Zac Posen.

On Monday morning, I will be on my way to NYC for the launch event of H&M x Balmain and I couldn’t be anymore excited about it. First of all, I love the French Maison as you know and second of all, H&M throws the best parties for their designer collaborations.

From draped satin skirts to skintight pants, from embellished dresses to the iconic wide belts, all pieces are shockingly affordable Balmain signatures that are as desirable as the runway collections Olivier Rousteing shows on the Paris catwalk season after season.

A little preview of the collection that took place in May 2015 Balmain designer Olivier Rousteing showed up with models Jourdan Dunn and Kendall Jenner, all wearing Balmain x H&M, at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Many of those must-haves are reimaginings of the French Maison’s classics, here are some examples:

EVIAN and New York-based fashion designer ALEXANDER WANG have unveiled the 2016 limited edition bottle featuring the New York-based designers’s signature bar code logo on two contrasting bottles, one black and one white. The purity of evian water is emphasized through clean graphics and highlighted by the play of the lines on the bottles.

This is the ninth time the mineral water company has collaborated with the fashion world to create a new design for its iconic product. Previous collaborators included Diane von Furstenberg, Paul Smith, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Elie Saab and Kenzo, to name a few.

The 2016 evian x Alexander Wang limited edition will be available in 75cl glass bottles at evian.com and retailers worldwide in October 2015.

Chinese Haute Couture Designer Guo Pei

Do you remember this year’s China-themed Met Gala where Rihanna showed up in the best dress of the night by Chinese haute couture designer GUO PEI? 2015 seems to be definitely the year of Asian domination: MAC has named Guo Pei, who is also known as the Alexander McQueen of the East, as its latest beauty collaborator, joining a long list of greats like Giambattista Valli, Proenza Schouler, Prabal Gurung to name a few.

When I was in Los Angeles for the TOM FORD Ford F/W 2015 show, I was invited to visit the brand’s presentation of the upcoming beauty launches at the Sunset Tower hotel. The moment I entered the suite, my eyes were immediately drawn to two clutch bags placed above the fireplace.

This amazing piece of art is finished with a lipstick holder at one side and comes with the ‘Vanilla Suede‘ shade from the brand’s beauty collection (you can use every TOM FORD lipstick shade of course). It’s lined in leather and has a zipped pocket, so you can keep your essentials neatly organized inside.
