Dolce & Gabbana’s star-sprinkled collection is loved by fashionistas and celebrities all over the world. The must-have print also graces some of the recent September issues. From Spanish Vogue with Eva Herzigova, Helena Christensen and Claudia Schiffer in a trio of Dolce & Gabbana F/W 2011 dresses on the cover to American Marie Claire with Anne Hathaway.
My favourites are the printed star dress with lace inserts and the matching star pumps. The sequined star clutch and wallet work well with every outfit.
Happy Shopping!

Not hard to tell, I love everything fashion-related. Fashion magazines, fashion photography have been fascinating me since my childhood and I was always eager to work in that field. Vogue has been my bible since then. Over 25 years ago, I have started collecting US, German, Italian, UK and French Vogue issues. My archive is complete and had even moved with me over the Atlantic ocean and back. Do you know how much paper weighs?!

Therefore I couldn’t be happier about Voguepedia, “the little baby of Wikipedia and Vogue”, that has been launched in May this year. The archive is supposed to cover the magazine’s 119 year history, with hopefully every issue catalogued one day. At the moment, the encyclopedia of all things Vogue is far from being complete but still lots of fun to browse through. Gosh, how I would have loved something like this during my studies…
I think that it is a smart move of Vogue to attract the younger generation that is more online-orientated and far away from a print media nostalgia…

For my German based readers:
My monthly fashion column in the SI Style has got a new look. Instead of the glittering illustration, there will be each issue another photo and lifestyle tips for restaurants, hotels and more. I am very happy with the new appearance and hope that you will like it, too!

Princess Caroline of Monaco‘s daughter Charlotte Casiraghi graces the September 2011 issue of Vogue Paris. Photographed by Mario Testino, the twenty-page editorial features the stunning brunette in the must-have F/W 2011 pieces by the likes of Gucci, Balmain, Isabel Marant, Dior, Chanel, YSL, Versace and more. I have loved the photos so much that I wanted to share them with you. Isn’t she beautiful like her late grandmother Grace Kelly?

No, this is not the newest Tom Ford advertising campaign. It is part of the amazing pictures taken by Mario Testino during the recent wedding of Kate Moss with rocker Jamie Hince for the September issue of American Vogue. The newly weds channel a modern-day Mick and Bianca Jagger, re-creating the couple’s 1971 backseat wedding portrait by royal photographer Lord Lichfield
On Kate: Tom Ford velvet-and-fur coat. On Hince: Tom Ford red velvet jacket.
Kate Moss graces also the cover of the fashion bible. Mario Testino captured the famous party guests plus the beautiful decorations and details so wonderfully that I wanted to share these with you. What a great inspiration for your own big day, don’t you think?

This week, I have had some pretty cool things happening. First of all, one of my favourite websites Lyst.com (have look, it is worth it) did a Q&A with me.
Please click on the photo to see it.
Secondly, I was asked to be in the committee for the Who Is Who of Zurich magazine which will be launched in November this year.
And last but not least my new column in the SI Style is available from today which tells you all about the campaign shoot for Closed.
More to come!

While being at the Baume et Mercier global press launch in the Hamptons, I met Jodi Belden who is the Associate Accessories Editor for Elle US. One thing is for sure, sophistication is in her DNA. Working for an American fashion magazine, it is no wonder that the beautiful blonde has created her own authentic, alluring personal style. She loves mostly pencil skirts and classy looks.
One evening, we went on a cruise together and Jodi mixed perfectly High Street fashion (lace dress by Topshop) with designer pieces (shoes by Prada and „Ipanema“ straw clutch by Anya Hindmarch), all from previous seasons. She especially paid attention to her accessories, kept her make-up simple and wore her hair in an effortless bun. I re-styled the look for you to shop. Just click on the little pictures.
Haven’t you always dreamt of looking like an editor? Here is your chance…
