Thank you to all of you who were sending me such sweet e-mails regarding my outfit that I wore to the Chanel show in Paris last month (see photo in the middle below). Some of you were curious about the colourful fur stole, so let me tell you more about it.
The fashion world has declared Prada’s hot accessory from the S/S 2011 runway show as the must-have item. Just look at who’s already been spotted with it.
First on the scene with the stole was no other than ueber-stylish editorilista herself, Anna Dello Russo.
Marc Jacobs wore it casually draped around his neck to party with Kanye West while Mary-Kate Olsen was trying to hide from the paparazzi with it. It has appeared in many editorials and Rihanna sported the stole in her latest music video for her single “S&M”.
It comes in an array of vibrant colours and is perfect to work this season’s colour block trend.

I am almost dying looking at those photos. As if the see-through Kelly bag Jean-Paul Gaultier created for his final Hermès S/S 2011 show wasn’t enough to drool over, there is also the wicker Kelly bag to be lusted after and the cute miniature Birkin bag dangling from the model’s wrist. Can you believe that the see-through material is actually very thin crocodile leather, ohmygod?!
Those bags will be very limited and they kind of make your everyday Kelly look plain boring. Being highly collectables, they are guaranteed to become instant classics.

This tote has been a must since Phoebe Philo presented it for her first Céline S/S 2010 collection followed by even more stunning versions for F/W 2010.
The designer who had been Stella McCartney’s assistant at Chloé before taking over the helm at the well-known French fashion house, was the mastermind behind the Chloé Paddington, one of the most popular It-bags of the last decade. Now with Phoebe’s return into the world of fashion (after some time off dedicated to her family), Céline is a hit both with fashion editors and customers alike.
The so-called Boston bag from the luggage collection is just perfect. It comes in three different sizes. Classic and modern, attention-seeking without being overloaded – those attributes might describe it the best. The only problem is that it is available in so many material and colour combinations which makes it a nightmare to choose. The medium leopard one was screaming my name. The studs and the straps make this kitten heels sizzling hot, adding this touch of sexyness most 3-inch heels are missing. Even the flat version seen on Alexa Chung is amazing.

Since then, it has been seen on the arms of the most fashionable people in the world. It comes in three different sizes, large, medium and as a clutch.
My own PS1 obsession!
Its hype seems to have no end. Probably because it is a very practical and stylish bag in one. The medium and the large size have a handle and a detachable knotted shoulder strap, compartments at front, inside and at the back, plus a foldover flap with lock.

Can you guess where we are in time-travelling after my lastet posts about lace and rocking hot black leather? Yes, we have arrived in the `80s. For some people, the golden decade was the worst one fashionwise but since a few seasons designers have relied on some of the worth recycling styles. The leggings and skinny jeans came back around 4 years ago and who would have ever imagined their ongoing success?! They have definitely conquered my closet and I never want them to vanish again as the modernized versions are stylish and comfy in one.
Designers have returned 20 years this F/W 2010 to find the `80s ma-ma-material beauty and so can you. Let`s begin!
You might feel like a virgin in a sharp leather pencil skirt, sequined blazer and fishnet stockings. Add lots of accessories like the iconic safety pins, stacked bracelets and big cross pendants for the ultimate killer look!
Balmain launched a real boom with the return of the shoulder pads. The last seasons, fashionistas have crazed all over the world for the must-have blazers and jackets. The hype is definitely not over yet! Party like it`s 1982 in those brocade and patchwork nightclub nostalgia pieces from the F/W 2010 runways. Absolutely screaming hot are red leather leggings, another must for this winter!
The `80s encouraged self-expression with eyecatching neon colours and rainbow dyes. I would not do the complete look but you can easily embed one sparkling bright piece into your daily wear. One thing I am not so sure is about the über-teased hair…. probably a little too much retro-style. But nevertheless the point of fashion is that girls just wanna have fun! So let`s start experimenting….
In case that you are looking for your personal Jesus, try black leather and fringes. So hot! Sequined leggings combined with a denim jacket would turn you also very fast back to the `80s without looking disguised.
If you want to find the fashion cure for this winter`s style heritage, you could opt for a goth look with an asymmetrical cropped sweater or some cut out off-shoulder-tops. And I am sure that this Friday, you will be in love.

My object of desire at the moment is this animal print trench dress from Gucci`s pre-fall 2010 collection, available now at Neiman Marcus and Gucci stores for approximately $2300.-. Spotted this month already at Queen B Leighton Meester on the Gossip Girl set in New York, this piece is a must!
The dress is so versatile and works perfectly for different occassions. You can wear it in the office with a blazer and dress it up with some sharp overknee boots plus a `70s inspired fur bolero or vest for a night out. I am totally in love with the shoulder details.
So Ladies, sharpen your claws and get ready for the catfight!
