«It’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.»
– Abraham Lincoln
I am feeling a little bit more diva-ish than usual today. Must be … because it’s MY freaking BIRTHDAY that I am spending at the beautiful Gstaad Palace hotel.
Don’t forget: Today is the oldest you’ve ever been, but also the youngest you’ll ever be again. So my motto is, celebrate each day as if it was your birthday!
My look: Embellished black mink jacket, floral bustier top, matching high waisted briefs , ruched tulle skirt, wallet bag with detachable chain belt, and mini leather shoulder bag, and Astra sandals by Sophia Webster.

This feed was in need of some summer clothes and a vibrant look. Have you planned already your summer vacation? I haven’t so far but after spending so many weeks in Gstaad, I will definitely head back to Clinique La Prairie, where those photos were taken at the pool, for some detox before going the beach.
If you make waves, you change a situation by doing things in a very different way, so why not playing with your accessories and putting on a turban to stir things up.
My look: Lovestruck ruffled crepe cropped blouse, and Riders rickrack-trim cotton midi skirt, both by Zimmermann, Aimee suede clutch by Khaite, Oya crystal-embellished leather and PVC sandals by Amina Muaddi, printed turban, and gold-tone and wood hoop clip earrings, both by Dolce & Gabbana.
Next adventure is waiting. I am off to Paris for couture week.

Today, I have sported my new FUSALP ski suit for the first time while taking a walk around Gstaad. Made of a totally stretch material for ease of movement, I have enjoyed doing some yoga stretches in the sunny weather. Thanks to its lightweight and high-tech materials, I don’t need to fear the cold or the humidity.
An icon of the brand’s collections, the MONTANA III jacket is as comfortable on the ski slopes as in the city. Made in a two-ply material with a high-performance microporous membrane, it is windproof, water-repellent and breathable. The ELANCIA II ski pants offer the same advantages, and are made of a technical Schoeller© softshell material with fleece backing.
Key pieces for the ski wardrobe, so comfortable you don’t want to take them off.
My look: MONTANA III jacket in ibis, and matching ELANCIA II ski pants in ibis, both by Fusalp, face-covered jersey roll-neck top by Balenciaga, Trekkgirl snow boots by Valentino, and Audrey wayfarer sunglasses by Celine.

At the moment, we have the most beautiful sunny weather here in Gstaad. So I sported for the first time some of my new pieces in the beige multicolor leopard Mizza motif from the DiorAlps capsule collection. The hooded down jacket is crafted in quilted technical fabric and is ideal for skiing. It has a windproof membrane, interior cuffs and numerous pockets, including one for a ski pass. I coordinated the look with the matching jumpsuit when I had lunch on the terrace of the Gstaad Palace.
My look: Hooded down jacket, stretch jumpsuit, ski gloves, and book tote, all by Dior, leather platform ankle boots by Versace, vintage mink Monogram earmuffs in brown, LV Link square sunglasses by Louis Vuitton, and pearl necklace by CHANEL.

Mixing two vibrant colors with some neutrals and adding some sparkle – that is my kind of power dressing. This exploration of taking colors that are opposites on the color wheel, like yellow and blue, and pairing them together to make interesting and complementary color combinations, is called color blocking and something I truly like to do. This trend is said to originate from the artwork of Dutch painter, Piet Mondrian.
My look: Corduroy puff-sleeve coat, matching corduroy mini skirt, tulle crop top with crystals, and crystal-embellished leather clutch, all by Prada, layered mesh bodysuit by Fendi, Holly embellished suede knee-high boots by Paris Texas, silver-tone crystal clip earrings by Alessandra Rich, and Big Bang All Black Zermatt by Hublot.

It’s weekend – time to party, I miss those carefree days when we were dancing the night away. Dancing is literally my favorite thing to so and the best way to burn of those fondue calories. Unfortunately, Gstaad Palace‘s famous GreenGo hasn’t opened its doors this season (only for me to take these photos). So I can only dream how I would dress up to be a dancing queen.
My look: Belted silk-cady wide-leg jumpsuit, and VSLING small floral-print textured-leather shoulder bag, both by Valentino, Angel leather platform sandals by Gucci, black bow brooch by CHANEL, silver-tone crystal clip earrings by Alessandra Rich, and rose diamond ring by Piaget.

This is a whole new level of style. Matching your outfit to the scent. Inspired by the emblematic creations of Yves Saint Laurent, Le Vestiaire des Parfums is a collection of fragrances that each interprets a centrepiece of the couturier’s wardrobe.
Here I am wearing Caftan, and styled a look that is matching the scent. With its its loose-fitted and floating cut, Yves Saint Laurent transformed the caftan into a modern, iconic piece, and made it a firm stable in the YSL wardrobe. I combined it with an oriental vest and accessories from different seasons. By juxtaposing unexpected materials, such as wicker and velvet, I created a vibrant mix that all of a sudden becomes seasonless.
My look: Satin-striped canvas djellaba, cotton-velvet vest, YSL-plaque wicker basket bag, shell drop clip earrings, Marrakech cord and silver-tone necklace, woven lurex tassel necklace, Patti beaded suede necklace, and Zoe chain-embellished satin pumps, all by Saint Laurent, Big Bang All Black Zermatt by Hublot.

New Year’s Resolution for 2022? Make your presence count. When you confidently exude your most authentic self – powerful, life-changing things can happen. Believe in yourself and start kicking some ass. Sometimes our biggest challenge isn’t our skills or abilities, it’s learning to believe in ourselves.
Stay flexible and give it your best shot, preferably in a breathtaking, yet comfortable outfit. I literally tried to take the best shots for this post as I did all the photos by myself with the timer of my iPhone in my room at Gstaad Palace.
My look: Checked wool jumpsuit, and crystal-embellished checked wool cardigan, both by Miu Miu, leather waist belt by Alexander McQueen, embellished leather pumps by Gucci, velvet pochette with colorful stones by CHANEL, and Royal Oak 37mm 18-karat frosted rose gold watch by Audemars Piguet.
