My Look: Caftan

This is a whole new level of style. Matching your outfit to the scent. Inspired by the emblematic creations of Yves Saint Laurent, Le Vestiaire des Parfums is a collection of fragrances that each interprets a centrepiece of the couturier’s wardrobe.

Here I am wearing Caftan, and styled a look that is matching the scent. With its its loose-fitted and floating cut, Yves Saint Laurent transformed the caftan into a modern, iconic piece, and made it a firm stable in the YSL wardrobe. I combined it with an oriental vest and accessories from different seasons. By juxtaposing unexpected materials, such as wicker and velvet, I created a vibrant mix that all of a sudden becomes seasonless.

My look: Satin-striped canvas djellabacotton-velvet vesticon, YSL-plaque wicker basket bagicon, shell drop clip earringsMarrakech cord and silver-tone necklaceicon, woven lurex tassel necklaceiconPatti beaded suede necklace, and Zoe chain-embellished satin pumpsicon, all by Saint Laurent, Big Bang All Black Zermatt by Hublot.

My Look: Power Your Presence

New Year’s Resolution for 2022? Make your presence count. When you confidently exude your most authentic self – powerful, life-changing things can happen. Believe in yourself and start kicking some ass. Sometimes our biggest challenge isn’t our skills or abilities, it’s learning to believe in ourselves.

Stay flexible and give it your best shot, preferably in a breathtaking, yet comfortable outfit. I literally tried to take the best shots for this post as I did all the photos by myself with the timer of my iPhone in my room at Gstaad Palace.

My Look: The Cube

Innovation and elegance are at the heart of Max Mara‘s utilitarian line, «The Cube». Designed in a languid robe silhouette that pulls in with drawstrings, this belted jacket is cut from waterproof shell padded with down that’s lightweight and plush. It comes with a compact shell bag for storage. Combined with those fun accessories by Louis Vuitton, it is the perfect look for my holidays at the Gstaad Palace.

My Look: Singin’ in the Rain

Great memories from London where I spent the last November weekend. After that I had to be in quarantine, as the travel restrictions had changed over night, which was an unpleasant ending of a great time.

Despite the rain, I truly enjoyed being back in London. I absolutely love the energy and the buzz of the city. Wearing one of my favorite winter looks, I had a real Mary Poppins moment when the wind wanted to take my umbrella. I shot the first time with Sinbad Phgura which was a real pleasure. He captures real life moments like a fashion story. See for yourself… I hope you like the photos as much as I do.

My look: Velvet puffer jacket, roll-neck jacquard jumpsuit, jacquard knit bucket hat, Re-nylon reversible scarf with pocket, Cleo jacquard-nylon shoulder bagiconzipped pouch short gloves, and black suede boots, all by Prada, black leather belt with fringes by Alaïa.

My Look: Christmas Cheers

May your holidays sparkle with joy and laughter! May peace, joy, and love find their way under your Christmas tree.

Red and green, that color scheme has been associated with winter holidays for centuries.  I love wearing this combination in addition with gold for the festive season. It gives me immediately the Christmas cheers.

My look: Two-tone wool-blend bouclé-tweed blazericon by Saint Laurent, black halterneck knit top with open back and knitted leggings, both by Balmain, Mount Small leather shoulder bag by Bottega Veneta, gold leather overknee boots by ValentinoChristmas tree earrings by Dolce & Gabbanaand Big Bang All Black Zermatt watch by Hublot.

My Look: Boston

Here is my first outfit post from Boston, where I am having the best time visiting my daughter who studies here. I am staying at The Newbury Hotel, a beautifully restored and reimagined luxury hotel at the intersection of Newbury and Arlington Streets, where the bustle of the Back Bay is your playground and the idyllic Boston Public Garden your front yard.

In this look, I wear all sorts of cutouts that have recently been revisited and redesigned through the lens of high fashion. I personally love this daring trend as the attention is always yours.

My look: Embellished cutout high-rise straight-leg jeansicon by Area, cutout wool sweater, cutout stretch-knit turtleneck topicon, and Alcove mini leather tote by Valentino, and Fira velvet-trimmed suede and flocked tulle pumps in black by Jimmy Choo.

My Look: Gold Coated

While being in Boston right now, I would like to show you the first look from last weekend’s photo shoot at the beautiful Dolder Grand hotel in Zurich. This has become one of my favorite looks for the holiday season. Coated in eye-catching gold, thanks to this unexpected texture the outfit has a modern vibe. It is very comfortable to wear and the padded rubber boots will keep your feet warm during the wet season.

My look: Metallic coated cable-knit wool sweatericon, pleated metallic coated wool-blend mini skirticon, cotton-poplin shirticon, and Atelier Shoes 03 Rose Edition 3D rubber knee boots, all by Valentino, The Hacker medium hobo bag by Balenciaga.

My Look: Gstaad or St Moritz

Do you enjoy skiing in the most luxurious and sought-after resorts in Switzerland? The dilemma of whether to go to Gstaad, or St. Moritz comes down to personal preference. I used to spend my winters in St. Moritz for many years but today I prefer Gstaad.

The beautiful Gstaad Palace is my home away from home and those photos were taken inside the La Fromagerie restaurant that offers delicious cheese treats and other Swiss specialities. The Alpine resort’s blend of glamour, lifestyle, sport and pristine nature outshines everything. However you are far more certain of getting snow in December in St Moritz than Gstaad. Both have a high profile social scene. St. Moritz, touted as the ski resort «on top of the world,» and Gstaad advertises with «come up and slow down». The choice is yours and the look would work for both.

My look: Argyle-pattern rollneck jumper and matching argyle jacquard midi skirt, both by Balmain, St. Moritz Voyage appliquéd embroidered canvas clutch by Olympia Le Tan, Alminette red suede pumpsicon by Christian Louboutin, and classic large Impatiens earrings by Oscar de la Renta.
