Thank you to The Dolder Grand for the hospitality.
Merry Christmas to all of you – may pace, love and laughter surround you all this holiday season. Needless to say, I wish you the most fashionable festivity ever. I am wearing a head to toe Dolce & Gabbana look because Christmas is too sparkly, said no one ever.
My look: Tulle bustier top, flounce skirt in tulle, Christmas ornament sandals, Christmas tree earrings, all by Dolce & Gabbana and vintage bow clutch with red sequins by Valentino.
The photos were taken at the beautiful The Dolder Grand in Zurich.

Fashion – this is my love. Classically inspired – masterfully staged – just like the beautiful Maestro Suite at The Dolder Grand hotel in Zurich that is an homage to music and Herbert von Karajan housed in the tower of the Main Building over two floors. My favorite part during my stay was playing the Steinway grand piano – the second of only three ever made jubilee replicas based on the first Steinway B211 grand built in 1836.
I hope you like my outfit that would be perfect for a New Year’s Eve party, don’t you think?
My look: Crystal-embellished printed velvet maxi dress by Paco Rabanne, New Year’s Party 2 appliquéd embroidered canvas clutch by Olympia Le-Tan, Silver-tone, crystal and satin choker by Miu Miu, and Edwige embellished satin sandals by Saint Laurent.

In order to prepare for the future, you need to unchain yourself from the strictures of the past. Let the past help and inform you; just don’t let it hold you back. Take control of your world to get your smile back. In terms of fashion, opt for different looks, mix and be creative until you find your match. As Sir Richard Branson once said: «You don’t learn to walk by following rules. You learn by doing and falling over.» For this outfit, I unchained myself from the rules and mixed and matched in all ways possible and I love the unexpected outcome.
My look: Eiderdown coat, and Viola floral-printed silk dress, both by Preen by Thornton Bregazzi, Le Chiquito mini leather tote by Jacquemus, Studwrap leather pumps by Valentino, leather bandana, leather belt, and hoop earrings, all by CHANEL.

Last weekend, I celebrated several occasions in London and had a fantastic time. Before I left for dinner at The Arts Club, we took these photos in my Park Suite at the Como Metropolitan hotel. Completed renovated in fall 2015, this luxury minimalist boutique hotel is perfectly located in Mayfair. If you stay there, don’t miss the Asian-style spa, Nobu restaurant and the slinky cocktail bar.
My look: Double-breasted embellished crepe blazer, embellished crepe mini dress and champagne bottle bag, all by Moschino, metallic and matte leather pumps by Saint Laurent, and logo earrings by Chanel.

Need less and want more – you can do it! Something my detox week at Vivamayr Maria Wörth has taught me. And this applies to every aspect of life. You don’t need to wait for a personal trainer, grab a mat, put on some comfy clothes and head out to nature to indulge in some dancing or yoga fun. It will change your life, promised!
My look: Need Less Want More T-Shirt (design by the contemporary artist Hadrien Dussoix) by By Naomé, Lucie Essentials Technical Knit Bra and Laure Essentials Technical Knit Legging, both by Ernest Leoty, and TechLoom Pro Mesh Sneakers by APL Athletic Propulsion Labs.

Thursday one week ago, I had the privilege to be celebrating my 10th blog anniversary with LA MER at Jelmoli in Zurich among dear friends and most amazing Sandra’s Closet readers. With all my heart, I would like to thank everyone who came and made this evening so special, also for the many beautiful and thoughtful gifts I got. A big and heartfelt «thank you» goes also to the very professional LA MER team, that surprised me with the best cake ever and to PERRIER-JOUËT for the lovely champagne.
The evening was dedicated to the most luxurious products by LA MER, the Genaissance de La Mer collection. The brand’s best anti-aging skincare products offer accelerated renewal and visibly erase signs of time with the help of potent crystals. Inspired by the latter, guests were invited to enjoy a personalized crystal reading by Alexandra Kruse.
I have been blogging for one decade now and so much happened over these past 10 years. I have always believed in being authentic and that staying true to myself would gain success in the long run. Nobody knows what the future holds. So let’s enjoy life to the fullest, be kind and inspire each other every day. Thank you to everyone for the journey.
Happy 1st Advent!

Last weekend, I flew to Frankfurt am Main in Germany to attend my 25 year class reunion. It feels always nice to be home, seeing my family and indulging in childhood memories. Here you see me in my parents’ garden in my favorite hidden corner. I love anything zodiac, therefore this sweater was a must for me. I was definitely born under a lucky star… feeling grateful.
My look: Embroidered wool cape, Sylvie mini buckle leather shoulder bag, skinny denim pant with embroidery, embellished oversized square-frame sunglasses, and Ultrapace mid-top sneaker, all by Gucci, neon pink cashmere scarf by Ralph Lauren Black Label and astro cashmere sweater by Dior.

10 years – as crazy as it sounds but I have been blogging now for 120 months, which is around 3650 days, and this is my 4193rd post which means I wrote more than one per day. I am thankful, Sandra’s Closet has taken me on the craziest, busiest but most amazing ride in my life.
On Thursday, I pre-celebrated my blog anniversary with LA MER at Jelmoli, I was so proud to welcome some of my Swiss readers, confident, beautiful and smart women, who came from all over the country. I cannot wait to show you the photos. A huge thank you to everyone for coming and all the surprises, I truly felt loved.
