The last three days I spent in Milan on a business trip and this is one of the outfits I wore (the photos were taken before at Lake Zurich). I just adore the color combination of burgundy and blue. It looks chic and sophisticated. The baker boy cap adds a fun twist to the look.

It’s Oscar weekend, which means party time in my favorite city in the world. Here you see me at the famous Sheats-Goldstein House, one of the sexiest properties in all Los Angeles. The cave-like concrete-and-glass residence – which is located in Beverly Crest to be precise – was designed by John Lautner and played in many movies, such as in «The Big Lebowski» or «Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle», and served as the setting for a gazillion of fashion editorials.

There were two subsequent owners before the mysterious multi-millionaire businessman James F. Goldstein purchased the residence in 1972, in a state of some disrepair. Goldstein commissioned John Lautner to work on the transformation of the house; a series of remodelings that would encompass the entire house over a period of more than two decades. Goldstein himself looks famous and likes to dress in head-to-toe leather always combined with a hat. His favorite brands are Balmain or Saint Laurent.

Goldstein loves to surround himself with celebrities, the house is plastered with memories of those encounters.

Coming back to the Sheats-Goldstein house. It  is probably the most dangerous house I have ever been in. Never get drunk there for sure! There aren’t any rails around the patio or along the outdoor hallway and boy, it’s steep. Everything is glass and even that I knew, I ran against it once, ending up with a huge bump on my forehead.

Last week in London, I wore one of my favorite dresses by Mary Katrantzou. The so-called Knight dress draws inspiration from vintage 1960s ties. Its striped bodice opens to a pleated skirt decorated with an array of typical animal prints you would see on an Hermès tie. Have you ever thought of transforming your hubby’s old ties into something new for you?! Might be worth the thought… If you are wondering why I am wearing such chunky boots, it was raining cats and dogs.

Yesterday, I flew back from London Heathrow filled with amazing memories from Fashion Week that I will soon share with you. When I am flying, I like to be comfy but still look stylish. Leather leggings and a striped sweater are one of my favorite combinations and the trending baker boy cap adds a little French touch!

Being obsessed with style is one thing, but I prefer just having fun with fashion. I like to experiment with unexpected combinations, cuts and colors.

My look: Tartan tweed blazer by Balmain, printed stretch-knit jumpsuit by Givenchy, Dolce Box embellished croc-effect and textured-leather clutch and printed leather knee boots, both by Dolce & Gabbana, faux-pearl tassel earrings by Oscar de la Renta.

Thursday night, I attended Breitling‘s red-carpet event at Zurich’s Hallenstadion. The innovative Swiss watch brand celebrated the debut of its new Navitimer 8 collection and Breitling’s new global CEO, Georges Kern introduced his brand’s next chapter. The event was the European stop on Breitling’s international tour, which debuted in Shanghai in late January and which will move on to New York City at the end of February.

As 2018 marks the Year of the Dog, I’ve chosen an offbeat ode to one of my favorite four-legged friends with this dog print gown and hope that you will like it as much as I do.

Greetings from beautiful and very cold Vienna where I spent the last days and attended the famous opera ball. Last week was my birthday and I was so happy to be surrounded by my close girlfriends for a lunch break full of laughter, fun and great conversations. Time flew so fast… My girls surprised me with amazing gifts (they read my birthday wish list :-)) and I feel blessed to have such amazing women in my life. Thank you to everyone who made my day so special!
