Somewhere over the rainbow, there is my Valentine and it’s a Valentino! Just when I thought the Rockstud collection couldn’t get any more fabulous, I spotted those rainbow stripes that are absolutely divine. It’s amazing how even after several years, the Valentino Rockstud is still going strong and gets better and better each season. While being in London, I spotted the new Miu Miu Astro Running sneakers in their store on New Bond Street. Transforming the classic running shoe into a piece of style, they come with unprecedented lightness and are one of the must-haves for the next season. Sneakers appeared on many runways.
The articulated rubber sole, sourced in the Miu Miu archive, has been reinvented with the addition of little round nubs – part baby hedgehog, part sea creature in appearance. The upper is crafted in a technical satin that is entirely hand-embroidered with constellations of sequins and crystal.
The neck of the shoe is cut in neoprene, sock-like, to ensure a perfectly close fit. Apparently contrasting elements are brought together to make the world a more lovely place to be: light-footed, light-hearted and sparkling with touches of light.

During a dinner conversation last weekend, a friend of mine asked me for advice to find a great pair of winter shoes that is suitable for bad weather conditions.

Available from today is the new and amazing collaboration between Edgardo Osorio‘s shoe cult brand Aquazurra (for a previous post please click HERE) and style icon Olivia Palermo.
The collection features a little something for everyone’s closet, from suede boots made from the Italian label’s patented ultra-soft cashmere leather to lace-up gladiator heels and embellished sparkling sandals.
The pieces are sold in 12 specially selected stores around the world and luckily, if you aren’t in one of those major cities, the collaboration is also available exclusively on Net-à-Porter.

VERSUS VERSACE and SUPERGA partnered on a vibrant new collection of footwear starting with a special edition of the SUPERGA 2750 model, made using one of the key prints from the VERSUS VERSACE F/W 2014 collection.
The shoes will be available online at shop.versace.com and superga.com in Europe from the 20th of June and to follow worldwide in selected VERSUS VERSACE boutiques and in the SUPERGA stores, from the 29th of June.
Personall speaking, I think that this is SUPERGA’s coolest collaboration so far!
