During London Fashion Week, I was photographed by Marie Claire Brazil. I am showing you this to demonstrate how one pair of bright patent pumps can change a whole outfit. This season, those vibrant coloured heels are a must and absolutely worth the investment.

The last show I went to at London Fashion Week was Emilio de la Morena F/W 2011. As you know I am a very enthusiastic person, but this collection didn’t do so much for me… unfortunately.
De la Morena is not so much into trousers (the last ones he showed were in 2007). His specialty are party frocks and seperates, well-tailored and geometrically cut but somehow I wouldn’t feel like partying in them.
The only fun the collection had were the GORGEOUS shoes by Charlotte Olympia who I spotted front row next to her mother, iconic Brazilian ex-model Andrea Dellal, wearing the same red heels like the models on the runway.

The ubiquitous zoo trend continues. From monkeys at Prada to tigers at Louis Vuitton to full-on leopard prints at Blumarine, Giambattista Valli and Dolce & Gabbana, this season’s runways resembled an episode of Wild Kingdom.
My absolute favourites are Louis Vuitton’s giraffe heels. Those sandals are pieces of art and will definitely find their way through the fashion jungle into my closet. So stay tuned for the sequel.

Chunky heels and wedges, this is what the summer 2011 is all about . Being more comfortable than high heels (especially if you live like me in a city plastered with cobblestones) and giving you a more casual and effortless look, those shoes will be surely bestsellers.
Enjoy those creations for this summer that are bold, daring and definitely different.
The footwear innovation for S/S 2011 is the flatform – a ballet flat elevated on a high platform heel, that gives you extra hight. Kind of reminiscent of summer espandrilles, but only higher. Designers are loving them at the moment.

Giuseppe Zanotti’s S/S 2011 ad campaign makes me dream of sunny weather, the beach and the ocean. No wonder as a vacation getaway in St. Barts served as inspiration for it. Sensual and sizzling fashion model, Anja Rubik is the face of the gorgeous campaign that was photographed by iconic duo Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.

With the help of the amazing creativity of the children at The Dynamo Camp, the limited edition snake skin peep toe sandal is vibrantly coloured and comes with a leopard printed lining.
The renowned Italian illustrator, Beppe Giacobbe, worked with the children to create and paint their shoe by telling them a story about a very special shoe brand that offer the most beautiful shoes in the world for the stars of stage and screen.
