World-renowned architect, Frank Gehry, winner of the 1989 Pritzker Prize, is turning his talents to the design of window displays for the first time. In September, Louis Vuitton store windows will feature Gehry’s sculptures alongside its F/W 2014 collection.
Passers-by and visitors will be able to view exclusive content when they scan the window displays with their mobile phones using the Louis Vuitton Pass app.

This week, Aspen in Colorado, one of the world’s most famous mountain resorts, plays host to the first ever CHANEL pop-up store in the USA. The ephemeral boutique, which is located at the Casa Tua, the classic mountainside restaurant and private club, presents the Métiers d’Arts Paris-Dallas collection, which Karl Lagerfeld showed in Texas last December.
Celebrating the virtuosity of the House’s ateliers and their specialized know-how, the pop-up store showcases the Wild West-inspired collection in a modern yet rustic environment that is a nod to Aspen. On the terrace, guests can take in the stunning, panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains and immerse oneself in the rugged luxury of the stunning surroundings.
The CHANEL at Casa Tua Ephemeral Boutique will be open until July 6, 2014.

The Tory Burch flagship store in Munich had opened its doors already last December but the big party took place this Spring when Tory Burch herself flew to the German metropole to celebrate with the Bavarian crowd the opening of one of the most beautiful shops in the city.
My look: Nicole embellished tweed jacket and Marion quilted leather backpack, both by Tory Burch, dress with leather and lace appliqué and pointed leather Mary-Jane pumps, both by Saint Laurent. Roman coin earrings by Dolce & Gabbana.

Today, I would like to introduce you to my friend Anna who had a fantastic business idea. Catering to all animal lovers, she opens today her first shop in Stuttgart dedicated to our furry friends: LIEBESTIER (Unter dem Birkenkopf 13-15, 70197 Stuttgart, Germany).
Anna Frahm of LIEBESTIER
Similar to Pet Kingdom at Harrods, the store offers everything a canine or feline heart wishes for, but in much more contemporary way, not completely aloof.
Anna showcases the very best pet products in her cute little store reminiscent of a kennel, from dog beds, toys, bowls to the most exclusive and healthy delicacies for cats and dogs. With a permanent gourmet food frontage within the shop, she even sells the finest truffles for dogs.
Speaking of fashion, you can match the collar of your dog to your new leather bracelet. How cool is that? I couldn’t resist and filled my Dorset leather tote by Mulberry with the cutest treats for my parent’s dog.
In the future, Anna is planning to open more stores in other cities. So let’s hope, she will also come to Switzerland one day!

Call it a “Prada” day! Here are more news from Italy as PRADA comes to HARRODS with #Pradasphere, a month-long exhibition tracing the diverse obsessions of Miuccia Prada from fashion and accessories to art, architecture, cinema, sports and beyond on the fourth floor of the famous department store.
Prada aficionados can feast their eyes on items from the house’s archives; enjoy short films, a history wall dedicated to Prada’s non-fashion-related pursuits like the America’s Cup. Moreover, 40 of the London store’s windows will be dedicated to the brand. But this is not enough, the best is yet to come! Prada is launching a capsule collection designed especially for Harrods for this occasion and you’ll be able to order specially reissued pieces from past collections.
The exhibit and a ground floor pop-up store featuring the capsule collection will run from May 2nd through the 31st. London, here I come!

Until the 13th of April, during the 2014 Milan International Furniture Fair, PRADA retraces its collaboration of 2012 with Verpan and presents the CloverLeaf sofas designed by Verner Panton in new and original colors: red, emerald green and gold.
Verner Panton (13 February 1926 – 5 September 1998) is considered one of Denmark’s most influential 20th-century furniture and interior designers. During his career, he created innovative and futuristic designs in a variety of materials, especially plastics, and in vibrant and exotic colors. His style was very “1960s” but regained popularity at the end of the 20th century; as of 2004, Panton’s most well-known furniture models are still in production (at Vitra, among others).
In Prada’s Monte Napoleone store, a special display is dedicated to the CloverLeaf sofas, reproduced exclusively for the brand’s most important stores.
Prada Via Monte Napoleone 8, Milan
Special Opening: April, 10 2014 10 am – 8.30 pm
I love those sofas. Would love to have one in my closet…

Last week, the first Karl Lagerfeld shop in Switzerland opened its doors at Jelmoli in Zurich with a fun party and I had the honor to unveil it. On the ground floor, you can find all accessories, bags and other fun gadgets. On the second floor of the famous department store, you can shop the prêt-à-porter collection.
The lovely Karl Lagerfeld team had flown in for the event.
Raquel Marquard and my humble self had fun trying some hats by Karl Lagerfeld.
Stylist Clifford Lilley with me
Monique Hollinger framed by Sonja Hog to the right and me to the left
Dusa Bibus to the left and Yvonne Bieri (Womenswear Buyer at Jelmoli) to the right.
The unveiling ceremony was fun. I gave a short speech and told a little anecdote about the first contact I had with Karl Lagerfeld many years ago as an assistant at Marie Claire magazine. As I am huge fan of him, I felt very honored to cut the ribbon of his first store in Switzerland.
Karl Lagerfeld on display for your home as part of a capsule range produced in collaboration with Manga-inspired brand tokidoki. He says: “I am very flattered that I became a ‘tokidoki’! I always loved them and I am very happy to be one of them”.
It was a great night surrounded by amazing people! Stay tuned for the outfit post coming up soon! Happy Weekend!
