The New York Times: Paris Calling

untitled

Today, I received many e-mails from my American friends to tell me that my photo was in The New York Times. Can you imagine how excited I was?! Above you can see it on top to the left, for the whole report you can click here.

On the streets in Paris during Fashion Week, the first signs of spring have brought a welcome change of colour. Bright, vibrant, energetic, the hues put you immediately in a good mood.

I loved the look of this Asian girl. Tangerine and electric blue are the shades of the season and combined together they just look amazing.

Get her look: Blouse by Gucci, tailored blazer, flap messenger bag, and two-tone shoes, all by Zara, cotton pants by See by Chloé, sunglasses by Ray-Ban.

The Zara shoes and bag are wonderful eyecatchers without your budget going overboard. Get the look by clicking on the links below.

Street Style Paris: Mattia

Spotted today at the Stella McCartney show: Mattia who wore the Stella pieces so lovely. The dramatically slit black silk-satin pants gave her look fluidity. She took them out with a sleek silk blouse and a tuxedo jacket.

The patent pumps and the long scarf were the perfect additions for a sophisticated day look, the red lipstik and nails finished off the ladylike outfit. Well done, Mattia!

I also own those pants and adore them, they are one of my favorites this season!

LoL, Sandra

Street Style Zurich: Mina

Mina1

Spotted yesterday on the streets of Zurich: Mina with her 5 months old puppy Max.
The mother of a little boy demonstrates that being casual, comfy and stylish in one can be achieved easily.

Laying her main focus on the accessories is absolutely right. They should always be your biggest investment. The Hermès 35 Birkin bag in Togo leather is a dream, the popping colour “Rose shocking“ a wonderful eyecatcher. With a bag like this, you can keep the rest of your outfit low key. Her matching UGG boots and the pink leather bracelet by Hermès finish off the look perfectly. Her statement watch is by Maurice Lacroix.

Denim dresses are very trendy at the moment, hers is by H&M, as well as her black leggings. The dark Moncler down coat is a classic winter must-have.
I always recommend investing in an outerpiece of good quality.

LoL, Sandra

Goodbye Florence

TakeMe Away

I left Florence filled with amazing memories and fully inspired. Stay tuned for many great photos and trend reports to be published soon.

When I am flying, I like to be comfy. Therefore I wore my grey sweatsuit by Stella McCartney Cruise 2011 along with my suede flat boots by Louis Vuitton Cruise 2011 and the fur jacket by Prada. Scarf by Matthew Williamson and hat by Balenciaga. As my suitcase was very heavy, I decided to take two pieces of hand luggage, my black Swarovski crystals embellished Balmain cross over suede bag and my leopard print Céline Boston tote.

Daniel from Stockholm Streetstyle took some great photos of me in front of the hotel and posted them on Caroline’s and his blog.

J.K. Place Firenze Official LogoBy the way, the hotel J.K.Place was gorgeous. Located in the heart of downtown Florenze, in Piazza Santa Maria Novella, in walking distance of all sightseeing attractions and shopping streets, it is a very special hotel experience. Small with only 20 rooms and suites, it doesn’t seem to be a hotel, it feels more like somebody’s house. There is one large breakfast table to accommodate all hotel guests in the morning. The interior design is very tasteful, contemporary and cozy. The service is outstanding, I have never felt so much at home in a hotel.
The best choice for fashionable people to stay in Florence!

Enjoy the photos, they are a feast for the eyes!

LoL, Sandra
