Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone! I hope you get spoiled to the fullest and celebrate the most important thing in the world, LOVE! Thank you to all of you for completing every one of my days by reading my blog. Fashion makes me so happy and I love what I am doing. The best way to feel kind of normal during those troubled times.

This week I went back to Zurich and shot many beautiful looks at the Baur au Lac in Zurich. Here you see me in one of my favorite restaurants, the Baur’s wearing my Valentine’s Day outfit for today. Now, I am driving up to Gstaad to be with my Valentine! Every love story is wonderful but ours is my favorite … cannot wait to see you!

Red: it signifies power, boldness, and confidence. Whether you’re choosing lipstick or clothing, you will definitely make a statement. The vibrant hue represents all things emphatic – stop signs, fire trucks, London’s telephone booths, Ferraris, Louboutin’s shoe sole, good luck (in Chinese culture) and of course fierce love! Personally speaking, it is my number one choice for holiday attire.

It has been asserted that it also acts subconsciously how you are perceived. Chris de Burgh‘s famous hit Lady in Red was inspired by the memory of when he first saw his wife Diane wearing a red dress. See, the red dress can even get you a famous husband, haha!

Scientists speak of the red dress effect, a putative phenomenon in which a woman wearing a red dress, are perceived to be more sexually appealing than she is when wearing other colours. In primates, a visual indicator of female fertility occurs by way of swelling during the follicular phase and is correlated with increased estrogen levels. Here we have proof that men tend to act like primates, haha! Sorry I had to do it again…

Greetings from Sylt! I enjoyed a wonderful long weekend with great friends. Germany’s most famous island can be best explored by bike which you can rent everywhere. Last Thursday, I enjoyed my birthday so much and was surprised with a small gathering of friends at Kaufleuten in the evening. My outfit was about the peplum trend that is back and better than ever. The lace dress and biker jacket nip in at the waist before flaring out to a fluted peplum hem. I added some fun accessories for an eye-catching effect.

Call me a true fashion lover. This look has become one of my favorites of the season, exaggerated houndstooth pattern, combined with a logo print cape and my new Hermès Himalaya Birking bag which is considered the holy grail in a handbag collection. It is crafted from Nile crocodile hide. The name «Himalaya» is inspired by the delicate gradation of the colour that is resembling the majestic, snow-capped mountains. The process of dyeing the leather is exponentially more difficult as the shades lighten. It takes a lot of time and craftsmanship. I feel blessed to call one my own.

This season, when it comes to sneakers, transparent air bubble-infused soles are the latest hype. Transparency as a striking design detail has been trending now for a while but this year various fashion designers have been experimenting with the modern sole, releasing their own footwear renditions featuring trend, along with Nike who kickstarted the movement with its iconic Air Max silhouettes.
