Those past weeks have been so hot… it has been such a fantastic summer but my bedroom feels like a sauna. Therefore I was eager to get the DYSON PURE COOL to finally get some fresh air for a better sleep. But important to know is that it is not an air conditioner, it is an air cleaner (great for someone who suffers from allergies) with a fan that circulates clean air throughout the entire room, no matter where you put it. DYSON was founded in 1993 and the company has traditionally put a big emphasis on the design and engineering of their products, being well known for its cordless vacuum cleaners and hair dryers.
Love to turn it on and off with the app while checking the pollution levels.
The DYSON PURE COOL features 10 different speed settings and an auto mode to adjust the speed of the airflow. In addition, it comes with a night mode, which reacts to pollution levels the unit detects. In general, the tower oscillates so that purified air is circulated in the room quickly and to achieve the best cooling effect. I love to use it while working out or posting from the comfort of my bed. With the Dyson app, I can also easily set up the timer.
Important! The Dyson Pure Cool is not a stretching device even that it is quite tempting:-)!
My look: Shooting Star point d’esprit tulle jacket by Anna Sui, gold-tone crystal earrings and gold-tone crystal cuff, both by Etro, Janis suede platform pumps by Saint Laurent and Jeff Koons Masters Collection «Da Vinci» laptop case by Louis Vuitton.
Leopard print bedding by Ralph Lauren Home and black age delay pillow by Nurse Jamie.
I hope you like my sense of humor to make this sponsored post a little fun…

There are some press releases that get me overly excited. This is one. Shu Uemura ‘Art of Hair’ launches a new product so-called TEXTURE WAVE, a dry workable spray for buildable grip, fuller touch and moveable texture.
The wave effect was key on the runway for S/S 2014, comprising lightly airspun texture right through to sensual, volumised curls. Texture Wave is the perfect product for recreating these styles with a no-shine finish.
CHF 45.00 (250ml)
The new styling innovation is insipred by one of the most famous Japanese works of art – the Great Wave of Kanagawa. It dates back to the 1830’s as the first print in Katsushika Hokusai’s series Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji. Caught in movement, the wave composition is dynamically extending, about to break.
In the mood for volumised, sensual curls? Why not try a look called WINDY WAVES (see cover photo)?
Step 1: Form curls using a wide-barrel curling iron, working sections in interchanging directions, inwards and outwards.
Step 2: Loosen curls with fingers and apply Texture Wave while tousling layers. Hair is left with texture and shape, but still free to move, like the waves it is inspired by.
To create on-trend, TOUSLED WAVES on shorter hair, begin by lifting sections and spraying Texture Wave through the roots, lengths and ends. Ruffle and scrunch with fingers to achieve un-done movement.
Create an effortless DISHEVELLED PONY by following these few simple steps:
1. Section the front of the hair by parting down the middle. Lift hair at the back and apply Texture Wave whilst tousling.
2. Gather the hair into a low ponytail at the nape of the neck, spraying Texture Wave through the lengths for a mussy finish.

Happy New Year to my Chinese readers!
According to the Chinese Zodiac, the Year of 2011 is the Year of the Golden Rabbit, which begins today on February 3,2011 and ends on January 22, 2012. The Rabbit is the fourth sign of the Chinese Zodiac, which consists of 12 animal signs.
According to Chinese tradition, the Rabbit brings a year in which you can catch your breath and calm your nerves.
What a wonderful New Year’s Resolution! Here is my cozy rabbit-inspired outfit suggestion including pieces by some Asian-American designers!

Thursday night in New York City, Sofia Coppola, Andie MacDowell, Emma Roberts, Anna Sui, Tory Burch and Alexander Wang, among other guests, came out to celebrate the collaboration of the Lanvin for H&M collection and to enjoy show stopping designs by famed Lanvin artistic director, Alber Elbaz, at The Pierre hotel.
The haute couture creations, which were customized pieces from the Lanvin for H&M collection, made their way down the catwalk with the help of famed models Asia Chow, Pixie Geldof, Dree Hemnigway and Anna dello Russo.
The looks from the haute couture show along with five original sketches from Alber Elbaz went up for auction on www.lanvinforhm.com. All proceeds will be donated to UNICEF. The online auction will end on November 26th at midnight CET.
I especially adore the sketches.

Designers made colour one of the essential elements for their spring/summer collections. Turquoise, fuchsia, apple green and pale pink are at the top, all with a little touch of the 70`s.
Colourful accessories with beautiful details are a great way to turn up the va-va-voom factor as they will make an outfit look ultra-fashion forward and you will need just one single piece for that effect.
