My Look: Snow Bunny

Snow bunny in Gstaad … inspired by the world of winter sports, the Prada On Ice collection presents technical ski wear blending specialized know-how with a distinctive style. Ski clothing and accessories mix with oversized jackets animated by colorful geometric and floral patterns, jersey outfits and mountain-inspired cashmere sweaters.

My look: Printed nylon down jacket, printed technical fabric ski pants, jacquard cashmere crew-neck sweater, printed stretch jersey top, quilted printed Re-Nylon scarf, and printed Re-Nylon bucket hat, all by Prada, Audrey wayfarer sunglasses by Celine, and Trekkgirl snow boots by Valentino.

Do you prefer spending Easter in the sun or in the snow? In today’s world you can have both and enjoy your new ski outfit for many months during the year. Therefore it makes sense to invest in a great look that keeps your warm but that is also fun to wear.

My Look: Golden Hour

In photography, the golden hour is the period of daytime shortly after sunrise or before sunset, during which daylight is redder and softer than when the sun is higher in the sky. This is the time, when your complexion looks best. This week, I introduced you to the YSL Or Rouge prestige skincare collection, which is like golden hour for your skin. The outfit I wore in the photos is also inspired by this magic light. The crinkled fabric of the skirt was sparkling beautifully in the last sunrays of the day.

My look: Satin piped cotton-velvet coat in blackicon, embellished ribbed silk topicon, metallic plissé midi skirt in goldicon, Sac De Jour Nano leather shoulder bagicon, hoop-drop clip earringsembellished patent-leather pumps, and braided sequined stretch-crepe and lamé turban in black, all by Saint Laurent, Audrey wayfarer sunglasses by Celine.

My Look: Grateful

I am so grateful that I recovered so easily from my COVID-19 infection and never showed the typical symptoms besides loosing my taste and smell for a few days. The isolation was tough on me. However, I spent my time reading and enjoying myself in my new home.

I am grateful that all my loved ones didn’t catch it and I  feel blessed for all the beautiful things in my life, including my closet! Speaking of which, I adore this outdoor look, comfy yet stylish, and hope you will like it as well.

My look: D-White turtleneck sweater, cream white cashmere sweaterreversible Teddy-D small brim bucket hat, D-Venture logo ankle boots, socks with Dior Oblique motif, Oblique saddle bag and blue shoulder strap, all by Dior, layered pinstriped grain de poudre wool and silk shorts by Chloé, and Audrey wayfarer sunglasses by Celine.

Are you grateful like me that 2020 will be over soon?

My Look: I Belong to The Hot Pants Club

Gosh, how much I enjoy those hot and sunny temperatures. I am such a summer girl – wearing hot pants and a great top is always easy, comfy and fun. In case you’re wondering, where the term «hot pants» is coming from, here is a quick explanation. No, they aren’t called «hot pants» just because women look «hot» in them. Which we most certainly do, of course!

The name is aligned with a movement of women who broke out of the accepted forms of women’s dress embracing all their curves for the first time in the ’50s and rose to new heights in the ’70s. It was hot shocking hot news at that time! And still today, the style proves its place as one of the most diverse and controversial fashion trends.

In order to avoid crossing the fine line between fashion and faux pas when putting on those short shorts, consider the occasion well you are wearing them to! Having fun on the playground in my garden is definitely one that is suitable. Just saying….

My look: Udalia fringed paneled Lyocell and cotton-blend vesticon, Eneida frayed denim shortsicon, and shell and beaded bracelet, all by Isabel Marant, Go Logo Rider 35 leather ankle boots by Valentino, Audrey wayfarer sunglasses by Célineicon, Nina striped leather toteicon and matching Nina striped crocheted cashmere tote cover, both by Gabriela Hearst, J’adior bracelet set in black and white Dior Oblique cotton by Dior, chain necklace with heart charm by CHANEL, and Pasha C chronograph in steel (2000) by Cartier.

In order not to miss out, don’t forget that you can order those beautiful Gabriela Hearst totes only until July 13, 2020 HEREicon. 10% of the profits from the sale of the bags will go to The Save the Children Fund.

My Look: Brazil

As I told you before in my travel insider about São Paulo, I was warned that tourists can become the target of scams and robberies while visiting the largest city in South America. Therefore I wanted to to blend in as much as possible in this urban metropole, and took note of how not to look like a tourist while being in town. In order not to flash my valuables, I didn’t wear any jewellery, watch, handbag or logo. I went for a pair of cargo pants that has several pockets that I filled with credit cards, money and my iPhone. I prepared some cash in one of them to be fast in case of a robbery.

In the end, I felt very safe, probably also because I was well prepared… if you get the chance, please visit São Paulo, it is such an amazing city!

My look: Printed denim shirticon by Saint Laurent, ribbed jersey tankicon by Derek Lam, cargo pants by DKNY, Audrey wayfarer sunglasses by Celineblack leather belt by Prada, and sneakers by Prada Linea Rossa.

My Look: Triple S

Call me a fashion victim but I really do like my BALENCIAGA TRIPLE S SNEAKERSicon. They have grown on me. The chunky dad sneaker trend has been all the rave and it didn’t take long until it went to high fashion. Balenciaga was fast and responded to this craze by releasing the chunkiest and most dad-like sneaker ever. It is comfortable, has been copied and runs out as quickly as it gets restocked… TO SHOP A LARGE VARIETY OF THE TRIPLE S SNEAKER, CLICK HERE PLEASE.

My look: No Smoking print T-shirt by Saint Laurent, printed low-rise skinny jeans by Givenchyiconquilted leather crossbody bag and Triple S sneakers, both by Balenciaga, and Audrey wayfarer sunglasses by Céline.
