Finally after having been postponed several times due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, English singer Dua Lipa is touring around the world with her «Future Nostalgia» show. It began on February 9, 2022 in Miami and will conclude on November 16, 2022 of that year in Perth, with several shows throughout North America, Europe, Latin America and Oceania.

I loved Dua Lipa’s show in Zurich, especially because Dua Lipa’s «Future Nostalgia Tour» is filled with designer catsuits. You know how much I adore these kind of clothes. I showed up in one by Saint Laurent myself for the concert (outfit post coming up soon).

The mood masterminded by her stylist, Lorenzo Posocco, for the tour is definitely body-con. The singer first captivated fans in Zurich’s Hallenstadion in a daringbright custom neon pink Balenciaga catsuit, which featured a lingerie-inspired corseted bodice, built-in heels (part of the famous pantaleggings look), a textured floral pattern and matching opera gloves.

Of course, one catsuit is never enough, and for her another major look of the show, Dua Lipa and her stylist collaborated with Casey Cadwallader of Mugler on a couture paneled catsuit. The bodysuit features the sheer and opaque body-defining panels Cadwallader has become known for, though this time the entire piece was rhinestoned, meaning even those in the back of the stadium could see Lipa glisten.

With a history rooted in haute couture and a reputation for hosting some of the world’s famous fashion houses, experts and guests might explain why Paris is my favourite fashion week city. Today, I have sported my new FUSALP ski suit for the first time while taking a walk around Gstaad. Made of a totally stretch material for ease of movement, I have enjoyed doing some yoga stretches in the sunny weather. Thanks to its lightweight and high-tech materials, I don’t need to fear the cold or the humidity.

While being in Boston right now, I would like to show you the first look from last weekend’s photo shoot at the beautiful Dolder Grand hotel in Zurich. This has become one of my favorite looks for the holiday season. Coated in eye-catching gold, thanks to this unexpected texture the outfit has a modern vibe. It is very comfortable to wear and the padded rubber boots will keep your feet warm during the wet season.

Everyone loves department stores at Christmas and we finally have such a high-end shopping heaven in Zurich. The new GLOBUS at Schweizergasse 11, in the city center is unrivalled in Switzerland with luxury fashion houses, such as Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Celine, Loewe, Valentino and many more having their own boutiques on the ground floor. The so-called «House of Gifts» looks more magical than ever before and the selection is great.

I found for example this very hard to get limited edition bag from the Balenciaga Hacker Project and my amazing YSL advent calendar. There is even valet parking offered to their VIP customers. Christmas shopping at its best.

My look: Check tweed padded jacket in multicolor by Gucci, lace-trimmed velvet and floral-print wool-twill blouse, velvet shorts, gold-tone, enamel and faux pearl clip earrings, and Kika patent leather slingback pumps with velvet self-tie wrap, all by Saint Laurent, Hacker tote «This is not a Gucci bag» by Balenciaga (limited edition of 600).

Alessandro Michele kickstarted «The Hacker Project» of Balenciaga’s design codes for its Gucci Aria Collection earlier in April. In June, Demna Gvasalia hit back when he presented his Resort 2022 collection for the French fashion house where 14 looks were inspired by Gucci details. Both lines hit the stores on November 15, 2021.

Besides launching crossbranded merchandise with Gucci, selected Balenciaga stores will have their windows «Gucci-fied».

The must-have collector pieces come with a mashup of the GG monogram with double-B logos to create a one-of-a-kind crossbranded motif that appears on ready-to-wear, accessories and bags. To shop the collection, click here.

My favorite bag comes with a graffiti slogan «This is not a Gucci bag».

The Hacker Project, first presented within Gucci Aria in April 2021, merges the iconic silhouettes and codes of Balenciaga and Gucci in unique creations as an exploration on ideas of authenticity and appropriation within the fashion industry. Among the hybrid universe of ready-to-wear and accessories, combining the aesthetics of Creative Directors Alessandro Michele and Demna Gvasalia, emblematic styles come together to create something new — from the Jackie 1961 enriched with a diagonal Balenciaga print to the City bag in GG canvas and the Triple S sneaker reimagined with Gucci’s Flora print.

The range includes styles featuring the new jumbo GG motif, a maximalist version of the historic monogram.

The non-collaboration even includes a co-branded Triple S.

Available for two weeks only, the Balenciaga and Gucci’s Hacker Project will drop worldwide on November 15.
