Here are some photos of the beautiful hiking tour I did last week. I love Bavaria and wanted to share those very picturesque photos with you. Religious symbols (see below) are everywhere in the South of Germany, even in the woods.
My hiking outfit: Leggings and top by American Apparel, cotton parka by Balmain, zebra-print calfskin hiking boots by Prada, watch by Roger Dubuis and sunglasses by Marni.
My foreign readers might understand why the dirndl (traditional costume in Bavaria) is very popular here. It just fits in so perfectly with the landscape and the cozy way of living.

Today, I have arrived in Florence for the 3rd edition of Firenze4Ever. LuisaViaRoma voted me among the most influential international fashion bloggers and invited me to three days of fashion fun. So stay tuned for many exciting photos of very special events.
Mulberry, the English brand that will celebrate its 40th anniversary this year, will be launching an exclusive behind the scenes book by Venetia Dearden and celebrate this with a classic English tea party. This is just one of the many fascinating things to happen. Tomorrow I will kick off the F/W 2011 season with the Total Styling Lab.
Please enjoy the first pics of today’s opening night. I am sure that you will recognize parts of my outfit from my previous post.
Blazer and cropped metallic leather motocross pants by Balmain, top by Tom Ford, shoes by YSL, bag by Céline, jewelry by Chanel and my new watch by Roger Dubuis.
Next week I will tell you much more about my beautiful new watch by Roger Dubuis.
Me tonight with Chiara Ferragni (The Blonde Salad)
…giving an interview…
…and having fun with my two favourite blogger colleagues BryanBoy and Wendy (Nitrolicious)
…trying to convince them to take off their iconic glasses…
…et voilà!
Now, I am in the hotel room enjoying my goody bag.
Good night!

The suspense is over. Olivier Rousteing is officially Balmain’s new Creative Director. Christophe Decarnin left the fashion house following some health problems that stopped him attending his last show. It has been reported that the Balmain F/W 2011 collection has been already designed by Olivier Rousteing and styled by Melanie Ward.
The new designer was born in France and raised in Bordeaux. He completed his fashion studies at Paris’s Ecole Supérieure Des Arts Et Techniques De La Mode (ESMOD) in 2003. I went to the same fashion university.
Rousteing, who has been a member of the Balmain team since 2009, will oversee both menswear and the women’s collection. He previously worked at Roberto Cavalli, designing the men’s and women’s ready-to-wear lines for the Florence-based firm.
Good luck, Mr Rousteing!

Balmain gives the iconic “Star-spangled Banner” a rebellious twist with burn holes and saftey pins. Those US-flag inspired pieces are on every cool girl’s summer wish list; they had been definitely on mine:

If you don’t want to spend so much on a distressed top, I recommend DIY! Get an iron on transfer motif (special printable paper) and try burning some holes in the old tee. Add some saftey pins and off you go! It should work pretty well.
In case that you are living in Switzerland, Trois Pommes carries a large variety of Balmain’s patriotic must-haves. Check it out!
4th of July will be around the corner soon…my stars and stripes are ready and yours?

Yesterday, I was invited to the Mister Schweiz (Switzerland) 2011 gala which is here a very big event. It was truly a live broadcasted spectacle.
The hot young guys, mostly in the beginning of their twenties, had to fulfill some fun tasks. Even that this is a fashion blog, I didn’t really think of dressing those beautiful toned bodies…I actually liked the boxer shorts pretty much.
The show had some great performers on stage, among them Italian singer Zucchero and famous world-class violinist David Garrett.
David Garrett with me... a funny guy.
Front row: Gorgeous Raquel Marquard who is the Mister Schweiz 2011 promoter
The jury from right to left: Julia Saner (model), Sara Hildebrand (entertainer), Bettina Portmann (SI magazine), André Reithebuch (Mister Schweiz 2009) and Indira Weiss (singer).

Enjoy the impressions of last night. The winner was Thurgau based 21-year old Luca Ruch who won the toss against Michel de Carolis from Basel who was actually my favourite.
Below you can find the details of my look from last night and like always start shopping immediately.
My look: Silk dress and jacket by Balmain, pumps by YSL, earrings and ring, both by Chanel and stingray Box bag by Céline.

I am in love with this outfit. The cropped metallic leather motocross pants by Balmain look so cool with a white tank top and the ivory wool tuxedo jacket. Opposite to the French house’s runway look, I would add an eyecatching pair of shoes in blue and match my nails. Make an unforgettable impression with a bold clutch like this appliquéd metallic leather one by Miu Miu.

For my second look of the LuisaViaRoma Total Styling Lab, I took inspiration from the punk-rock trend but added a little glamourous twist to it – meaning less rebellion and more sophistication! I hope that you will like it.
Leather jacket: MARC JACOBS – Sequined pants: BALMAIN – Bustier: MARIA LUCIA HOHAN – Scarf: MARUCELLI – Ring: GISELE GANNE – Muse Two Bag: YVES SAINT LAURENT – Patent Tribute Sandals: YVES SAINT LAURENT

I left Florence filled with amazing memories and fully inspired. Stay tuned for many great photos and trend reports to be published soon.
When I am flying, I like to be comfy. Therefore I wore my grey sweatsuit by Stella McCartney Cruise 2011 along with my suede flat boots by Louis Vuitton Cruise 2011 and the fur jacket by Prada. Scarf by Matthew Williamson and hat by Balenciaga. As my suitcase was very heavy, I decided to take two pieces of hand luggage, my black Swarovski crystals embellished Balmain cross over suede bag and my leopard print Céline Boston tote.
Daniel from Stockholm Streetstyle took some great photos of me in front of the hotel and posted them on Caroline’s and his blog.
By the way, the hotel J.K.Place was gorgeous. Located in the heart of downtown Florenze, in Piazza Santa Maria Novella, in walking distance of all sightseeing attractions and shopping streets, it is a very special hotel experience. Small with only 20 rooms and suites, it doesn’t seem to be a hotel, it feels more like somebody’s house. There is one large breakfast table to accommodate all hotel guests in the morning. The interior design is very tasteful, contemporary and cozy. The service is outstanding, I have never felt so much at home in a hotel.
The best choice for fashionable people to stay in Florence!
Enjoy the photos, they are a feast for the eyes!
