Please accept my sincere apologies for the lack of posting. I am currently at the beautiful Lanserhof Tegernsee in Bavaria, Germany for a clean break of everything. I am talking about digital detox as well as physical detox. It is very challenging for me, an overhaul for your body and your soul. Here at Lanserhof I am treated with the most modern and holistic medicine, which means regeneration and prevention on the long run. Once I am back, I will give you a full report of my stay. One thing that is for sure, it has been absolutely worth coming here.
What I truly enjoy is being in comfy clothes with no makeup just embracing my cleansing, resting and medical routine. And having time to look outside the window and to enjoy the snowy landscape surrounding this amazing retreat. It is a great way to rediscover your inner self.

This week, I flew to Paris for a great evening with Lancôme to celebrate their 80th anniversary and to interview Viktor & Rolf who were proud of the festivities for Flowerbomb, their iconic fragrance, that turned 10 this year.
I met the designer duo at the beautiful Peninsula Hotel Paris, that had opened its doors last year. The interview was absolutely amazing and I was so happy when I left to the airport that I sat down at the piano in the lobby. Playing my favorite instrument is something that gives me lots of relaxation and energy at once.

Sometimes it just needs one statement piece to draw all the attention to your outfit. But wait, a statement piece….? What is the statement? Here, it is the sequined Playboy bunny on the back of the hoodie that I wore last weekend on my flight to London for Fashion Week. Looking all innocent and casual at first sight, it unveils this fun message when you turn around. The only question left is what is the statement that the wearer is trying to make…? This you have to figure out yourself… mine will stay a statement secret.

Here is another outfit post from my recent trip to the US, taken on Abbot Kinnley Boulevard in Venice Beach. The weather was very weird and I didn’t see much of the Californian sun during my stay. A great place for lunch is Gjelina, a place worth its hype. Even that I am not a vegetarian, I do love my veggies and their kale salad is to die for.

This winter, it is all about the plaid factor. The pattern that somehow manages to straddle the not-so-fine-line between preppy and punk has suddenly proven itself as this season’s principle print. Last week in London, I stayed for the first time at the Haymarket Hotel which I adored. My avid readers know that I am usually loving the Browns Hotel but sometimes a little change is great. Today, I was supposed to fly again to the UK for a wonderful press trip with Cowshed but had to cancel last minute… so I enjoy those sweet memories.

I spent the last days in London – a city that I love very much. The double decker buses, the black cabs, and the red telephone boxes, some of the iconic sights on the streets of the British metropole, symbolise gorgeous design while fulfilling their purpose with efficiency. The same goes for my Givenchy sweater – it’s comfy and stylish in one. You need one of those printed must-haves in your closet this season!

Some of you might remember this dress as I wore it to the MCM store opening in Zurich last May. It has been one of my favourite looks this summer and I loved changing the accessories for it. When I wore it during New York Fashion Week to the Ralph Lauren Collection S/S 2014 show, it created a huge buzz among the street style photographers as you can see below and even Stefano Gabbana in person twittered and liked it on Instagram.
