Today’s look is all about enhancing the timeless, retro-influenced mood that is trending at the moment. Reinvigorate your wardrobe with the bold and vibrant designs everyone has their sights on. My striped outfit is from the Ken Scott x Gucci collection that I absolutely adore.
Ken Scott was an American designer who resided in Milan in the 60s and 70s. He was known as the «fashion gardener» for his colourful, oversized botanical prints and vibrant colors. Alessandro Michele worked with Scott’s archive to incorporate his prints on signature House designs: «Ken Scott was a really great creator of fabrics, he mapped out flowers with romanticism and flowers into pop culture. He treated flowers like shop signs, he multiplied them, turned them into something that stood out. I like his work because I am obsessed with floral prints.»

I went for the less obvious print, instead of flowers I feel in love with those rainbow stripes. The perfect outfit for enjoying the change of the season, as I did on this beautiful day at Gstaad Palace hotel in the end of February.
My look: Rainbow-print linen top
, matching rainbow-print linen trousers, gold-tone crystal belt
, and 1955 Horsebit leather-trimmed crocheted shoulder bag, all by Gucci, lace-up leather-trimmed mesh pumps
by Bottega Veneta, wide brim straw hat by Balmain, Clash de Cartier ring in 18K rose gold with amazonite by Cartier, and Royal Oak 37mm 18-karat frosted rose gold watch by Audemars Piguet.

Around Lake Zurich, it can get very foggy, especially during fall. Not being able to to see the sun after several days can really bring down one’s mood. However the beauty about Switzerland is, that if there is fog around the lake, you can almost always find the sun and blue skies above in the mountains. I spent the last two days in Zurich and when driving up today to Gstaad again, the sun was shining and it made me realize how blessed we are to live in such a beautiful place.
My outfit definitely works on all occasions, sunny or foggy weather. I am absolutely loving it. It is playful, yet conservative, eye-catching, yet muted in colors.
My look: Sheep fur coat by Saint Laurent, houndstooth wool pinafore dress

I just love this bag! Daniel Lee‘s blown-up take on Bottega Veneta‘s intrecciato weave creating perfectly shaped squares feels so modern and sophisticated. The structured, ’90-inspired silhouette is crafted from two layers of soft leather that’s thickly padded so it feels soft and puffy.

In my closet: Cassette small Intrecciato-leather cross-body bag in green

There are two options. First, wear the adjustable leather strap cross-body or tuck it inside to carry as a clutch as seen above or opt for the version with the chunky chain strap in gold (my favorite) or silver, which happens to be another new addition this fall, see below.

No matter if you need them or not, wearing glasses will give you a polished, distinguished and different look. Regardless of your outfit, glasses can help you enhance your unique style and improve how people perceive you in the process. Almost all psychologists agree that glasses-wearers look more qualified and trustworthy. I got myself a pair of glasses that filter out the blue light spectrum to cut down on digital eye strain, which was a great decision.
Below are some optical designer frames I truly like. Make them a statement! It is a little investment for a great output. The attention will be all yours…
Happy Friday 13th – I keep on packing!

The most direct way to connect with the season’s toughest look? A heavyweight curb-link necklace. Being very reminiscent of the 80’s, it uplifts every look to new heights. Shop the most beautiful ones available in different price ranges by clicking on the highlighted product description.

After Resort 2020‘s clever styling trick (see trouser tuck) that has seen sandals wrapped around your pants, designers are taking the trend up a notch this fall and present trousers in tapered shape with ties at the cuffs that offer the same stylish effect.

Yesterday was probably one of the most emotional days in my life. My daughter went off to college, flying to the US by herself as I was not allowed to accompany her due to the current pandemic. This truly breaks my heart. Not only letting her go is pretty tough on me, but not being there for her to settle in is even harder. However, I know that she will be fine, she grew into an amazing and independent woman and I am proud of her.
We took those photos this week, when she caught me thinking on my balcony. Not only I am loosing my daughter at home, but also my photographer. That is also pretty tough for me!
My look: Dioraura cashmere sweater, and medium Bobby bag in latte, both by Dior, ribbed modal and cotton-blend jersey tank
by Saint Laurent, chain-embellished macramé and leather pumps, both by Bottega Veneta, chain-trimmed mid-rise skinny jeans
by Gucci, Monogram denim shawl in blue yellow fluo and Nanogram whistle pendant, both by Louis Vuitton, and Royal Oak 37mm 18-karat frosted rose gold watch by Audemars Piguet.
Empty nest syndrome? I prefer to think of it as Martin Luther King Day… «Free at last!» Life is just in front of me, that is the beauty of having been a young mum!

This was my outfit that I wore to my gourmet dinner at Anne-Sophie Pic in Valence. Comfy yet stylish, not too tight to be able to fully indulge in the 10-course three Michelin stars culinary experience. I am repeating myself, it is another Zimmermann dress but I love their luxe bohemian creations so much – the perfect wardrobe for sun-soaked destinations.
My look: Zinnia belted tiered metallic polka-dot linen midi dress
by Zimmermann, Annabelle Swiss-dot tulle-trimmed straw hat
by Eugenia Kim, Rendez Vous 105 metallic leather wedge sandals
by Aquazzura, The Pouch chain-embellished gathered leather clutch
by Bottega Veneta, and Royal Oak 37mm 18-karat frosted rose gold watch by Audemars Piguet.
