Candy colors I love – we look cute together. Madame de Pompadour and Marie Antoinette would surely agree with me as they are best known for favoring hues such as baby blue and pale pink in particular. Those soft and sweet feminine shades represent a dramatic break with the dark and moody colors often favored in wintertime, which has long given pastels a strong affiliation with the spring and summer months. For me at the moment, they represent a new beginning and the association with holidays and escapism after those quarantine days.

At the Viktor & Rolf S/S 2012 fashion show, you might have thought that dolls were on the runway instead of models. Thank you for all your sweet comments on my outfit that I wore to the Stella McCartney F/W 2011 show. Candy colours are just great for summer, they feel fresh and light.
The linen blazer and pants are by Stella McCartney as well as the gorgeous Falabella crochet bag and the python-print scarf. I combined the look with nude sandals by Prada and a cardigan by Ralph Lauren Black Label. The taupe-coloured headpiece by Miu Miu is definitely an eyecatcher. I have even made it on the French Vogue website.
