Burberry Prorsum were key in setting the blanket poncho trend for F/W 2014 and have left us spoilt for choice. I think these are a great alternative to a full-on coat. Wear yours thrown over the shoulder, as a coat or belted at the waist. These super-luxurious pieces are effortlessly chic and just perfect for when you need an impromptu cover-up should the weather suddenly become chilly in the evenings. The body-wrap rugs are designed with modern art references and are crafted in Scotland from lambswool and cashmere.

Cara Delevingne wore this checked wool and cashmere-blend cape as the closing look of Burberry Prorsum’s F/W 2014 runway – it cemented the global-luxe mood of the show. (The personalized version that has been spotted on many celebrities was only available right after the show until the beginning of March 2014 from the Burberry website.)
Don’t miss one of the hottest must-haves of the season!

Here is your exclusive preview of Mulberry‘s F/W 2014 ad campaign that has been released this morning. The British fashion house returned to its roots in the countryside with a blast of fresh air to invigorate its new and very British winter collection through the lens of one of my favorite photographers Tim Walker. Cara Delevingne is once more the face of the campaign and presents the Mulberry Cara Delevingne Collection, which is infused with her own style.
Mulberry has designed a beautifully classic and very elegant collection for F/W 2014 with argyle and arran-inspired knitwear and iconic Houndstooth and check, all influenced by traditional British tailoring, textures and prints. Even the footwear references two key British styles – the all-purpose rain boot, beloved by country-dwellers and city-commuters alike, and the quintessential lace-up brogue.
The F/W 2014 bags were inspired by the brand’s interpretation of how to make everyday life feel more beautiful, and how to make beautiful things practical. The new Tessie embodies the mood of simple, unfussy elegance and is among my new season’s must-haves.
The team stayed in a Scottish lodge and woke up every day to early morning mists, huge breakfasts, homemade shortbread and wild Land Rover rides across rushing rivers and up off the beaten track, arriving to a place of serenity and calm at the location for the shoot, with no phone signal, miles from anywhere and with not a soul in sight apart from the local gamekeepers’ dogs and a flock of sheep. One little lamb quickly became Cara’s favourite!
So cute! Such a great campaign and lovely collection…

Hot off the presses (or rather, email transfers), Mulberry has announced an amazing collaboration with British model-of-the-moment Cara Delevingne.
Cara worked closely with the brand’s design team to create a collection of bags. She visited the archives, chose leathers, sketched ideas, talked shop, discussed customers’ practical needs and the trend for understated elegance.
The Mulberry Cara Delevingne Bag is a three-in-one style. It can be worn on the back: for running from the gym to the office, from meeting to meeting, from train to plane. It can be worn on the shoulder: to take you from work to dinner or from town to country. It can be hand-held: for maximum elegance at all times or when you need to rise to an occasion.
Whatever it is that you do, this bag will come with you.
The new collection features three sizes in three different finishes all made in England at the brand’s Someset ateliers; classic Natural Leather, Quilted Nappa Leather and innovative Camouflage Haircalf with an extra limited edition version inspired by Cara’s lion tattoo.
Made in England is also part of Cara: she has it tattooed on the bottom of her foot. In tribute, the Mulberry Cara Delevingne Collection has it stamped on the bottom of each bag.
I love this collection and cannot wait to get my hands on it!

MULBERRY has released its S/S 2014 ad campaign starring once more Brit model Cara Delevingne. One word that describes it all: Adorable! Celebrating tea time, the It-girl and her little animals friends were shot by no other than Tim Walker.
Enjoy some exclusive behind the scenes photos from that fantastical afternoon party, starring ponies, cockatoos, pelicans and puppies of all sizes, the new season must-have bags such as the fiery red striped BAYSWATER or the new KENSAL in cream, along with a beautiful Cara who seemed to have a grand time on set.

The star of YSL‘s Summer 2013 Baby Doll Collection is the house’s new mascara, applied in the ad campaign by Cara Delevingne. The gorgeous collection will also feature new shades of eyeliner and a limited edition glossy stain for lips and matching nail polish.
The new MASCARA VOLUME EFFET FAUX CILS BABY DOLL provides volume and clean definition in one. The brush surrounds each lash with a breakthrough clump-free formula that is also protecting lashes from free radicals.
The micro-faceted brush is easy to use: lashes are multiplied, precisely defined and magnified. On one side, thick and spaced bristles coat the lashes and create volume. On the other side, fine and close bristles reach every lash, including the smallest lashes at the corner of the eye for a full fringe effect.
Available in 4 different colours.
(Fetish Black – Audacious Blue – Indiscreet Purple – Wheedler Brown)
VOLUME EFFET FAUX CILS BABY DOLL N°01, N°02, N°03, N°04 – CHF 53.00
EYELINER BABY DOLL N°10, N°11, N°14, N°15, N°16 – CHF 51.00
VERNIS A LEVRÈS Baby Doll CHF 48.-
LA LAQUE COUTURE Rose Baby Doll CHF 37.-

Ear cuffs are this season’s hottest accessory. They have made their comeback for the first time on the Chanel S/S 2012 runway last year, and since then those must-have jewelry pieces have been spotted on the likes of Cara Delevingne and Diane Kruger.
The ear cuff is a great investment piece for the summer, it can be worn in multiple styles depending if it is made from feathers, chains, or sparkling diamonds, adding real flair to your outfit in an instant.
Below are the best ones available at the moment. I bought myself the tiger version from the Roberto Cavalli S/S 2013 catwalk. For the post in which I am wearing them, please click here. By the way, the last three shopping suggestions (N°7-9) cost less than CHF 50.00.
1 Crystal-embellished branch earrings by Emilio Pucci
2 Embellished ear jewel by Givenchy
3 Gold-plated Swarovski crystal cuff-style tiger earrings by Roberto Cavalli (my choice)
4 Berbère 18-karat rose gold multi-hoop ear cuff by Repossi
5 Earring with ear cuff by Nina Ricci
6 Maia bronze leaf ear cuff by Pamela Love
7 Feather ear cuff by Anni Jürgenson
8 Double chain ear cuff by Anni Jürgenson
9 Ear cuff by Maria Francesca Pepe
The Swiss based designer Carmen Cita Jones also offers a large variety of ear cuffs. To shop, please click here. Enjoy this fabulous trend!

Following in his famous parents’ fashionable footsteps, Romeo Beckham is the leading star of Burberry’s S/S 2013 ad campaign, shot by a friend of the family, Mario Testino. According to the MailOnline, the 10-year-old was on the campaign set without mum Victoria or dad David, and was accompanied by his nanny and security guards.
Burberry’s S/S 2013 collection is a bright and playful collection and along Romeo, there are some more beautiful faces starring in the new campaign: Cara Delevingne, Max Rendell, Charlotte Wiggins, Alex Dunstan, plus Charlie France and Edie Campbell, who appear in the first campaign image, alongside the celebrity offspring, with all three of them wearing the British House’s iconic beige trench coats with check print lining.
“This season’s campaign lights up with the infectious energy of an amazing young cast of old and new Burberry family. Cara, Edie, Charlie and Alex are joined by Max and Romeo, who was a joy to work with and really stole the show. We had such fun shooting the campaign and I think that comes through in the images which really reflect the upbeat spirit of the collection.”

On Saturday, you were able to watch the Burberry Prorsum Menswear S/S 2012 show live on Sandra’s Closet. Today, I would like to show you whom I saw at the show in Milan and give you a little more insight into the collection.
The lull before the storm.
Anna Dello Russo with Bryan Boy…
…and with me.
Front Row: Julian Morris, Cara Delevingne, Rob Pryor and Jake Cooper
Christopher Bailey celebrated craftsmanship and laid the emphasis on the artisan spirit:
“This collection started with our iconic heritage as the foundation, we really wanted to emphasise this feeling of handcrafted pieces, celebrating craftsmanship but always with this playful element. We have taken our icons and played with texture to personalise and give them a real character and charm using colour to highlight the intricate detail that goes into crafting them.”
Christopher Bailey, Burberry Chief Creative Officer BURBERRY PRORSUM
There were lots of ikat prints, beautiful raffia trims and wooden paillettes. Those embellishments will make those T-shirts the next summer’s must-haves. The crocheted details and the bobble caps were reminscent of the `70s and the hippie era. I am pretty convinced that those ethnical influences, the maxi bags and the earthy colours will be liked a lot by the stronger sex. Don’t forget, you can order some of the pieces now online until June 27, 2011.
