Before Christmas I flew to Mauritius and stayed at the new beautiful LUX* Belle Mare resort. The only negative connotation was that it rained a lot. But this could not dampen my mood.

Last week, I was in Milan for work. Here you see me inside the famous Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, which is one of the world’s oldest shopping malls. Housed within a four-story double arcade in the center of the city, it is named after Vittorio Emanuele II, the first king of the Kingdom of Italy. It is also the home of the first Prada store founded in 1913 by Miuccia’s grandfather Mario. Whenever I am inside, I am impressed by its beauty.

My look: Tweed blazer, ruffled leopard-print silk-georgette mini dress and ‘Babies’ mid-calf boots in silver, all by Saint Laurent, makeup face-printed saffiano tote illustrated by Jeanne Deallante by Prada, diamond stud earrings by Cartier and diamond ring by Vainard Fine Jewellery.

Jeremy Scott had fun with Moschino signatures at his first outing for the brand. I am crazy for his witty pieces and had to have this quilted handbag, designed to look like a mini jacket. Finished with gold chain handles and multiple internal and external pockets, it’s sure to become a cult favorite among fashion lovers around the globe.

My look: College coat by Saint Laurent, printed satin-jersey mini dress and jacket quilted leather shoulder bag, both by Moschino, suede boots by Balmain, soft merino wool and cotton-blend tights by Falke, Mitza ring by Dior Haute Joaillerie and Tank Américaine in yellow gold with diamonds by Cartier.

Knitwear dressing made a big comeback on the runways for the F/W 14 season and I am so happy that I have kept these S/S 2008 Prada pieces. They are so perfect for this fall.

During my recent visit to the 27th Biennale des Antiquaires in Paris, I spotted a wonderful jewelry trend: the Opal is a stone on the rise. Gleaming with all the shades of the rainbow, the colour spectrum that these spectacular gemstones cover is breathtaking. The world’s finest opals originate from the Australian outback. Their constantly changing play of colour is known as “opalising“, and the versatile combination of colors is key to the stones’ enduring appeal.

Dark or light, pale or bright, here are the most opulent new opal jewelry pieces to fall in love with this season:

Dear September, a warm welcome from my side! I hope that you will save the Swiss summer 2014. Like probably most of you, I had constant clothing dilemmas with this sort of dreadful, end-of-days weather we have been getting this year.

As you see, I have started to wear my new Pre-fall 2014 pieces already in August, adding some vibrant colors to lighten up the mood and my new diamond ring makes me feel like the sunshine is at least wrapped around my finger. Whenever I look at it, my heart beats a little faster… isn’t it just a dream?!

After my summer holidays in Ibiza, I came back completely chilled and relaxed. But as usual you have to run some errands due to an empty fridge. Here you see me at Sihlcity in Zurich. Get hot models and celebrities, such as Miranda Kerr and Nicole Richie, to pose in your product and post photos to Instagram. The so-called “show yours. #mycalvins” campaign, a riff on the label’s iconic 1981 commercials starring Brooke Shields, is an image-driven initiative which simultaneously taps into the power of the pop culture “selfie” phenomenon and the reach of key digital leaders.
