This season, you need to get creative when it comes to how to carry your bag. One thing is for sure, it needs to be any other way than you are actually supposed to: around your neck, under your armpit, wrapped around your waist, or attached to your belt.

Two weeks ago, I accepted a lovely invitation by Silvio Denz, CEO and President of LALIQUE, to join him for an amazing dinner experience at Park Weggis, the partner hotel of Villa René Lalique, that was constructed in 1920 and brought back to life by my host in September 2015. Today, it boasts six exclusive suites and an up-scale gourmet restaurant. Manning the kitchen is none other than two-star chef and autodidact Jean-Georges Klein who had come to Weggis for this evening to spoil us with his dishes that are colourful and rich in contrast, for the eyes, the palate and the bite.
Silvio Denz to my left and Jean-George Klein to my right.
In terms of fashion, I went for an outfit that sported cascading layers of soft silk chiffon with a ‘trompe l’oeil‘ illusion of voluminous, layered ruffles. The feminine colours ensured a party-ready appearance.
My look: Feather cape by Balmain, sequined-bow tiered silk-chiffon gown, fringed cracked-leather pumps, feline earrings with crystals, fringed cracked-leather pumps, gold-tone crystal bracelet and crystal embellished ring, all by Gucci, envelope bag by Céline and diamond ring by Vainard Fine Jewellery.

«It’s all about the jacket! The jacket is a parka, a caban and a hoodie, always a blazer, it’s a suit, it could be a vest, a débardeur, a qipao and a redingote, a dress and even a gown.» – Albert Kriemler
AKRIS has come up with a new cool when it comes to dressing. For the last winter collection, creative director Albert Kriemler has quite obviously fallen in love with the jacket. I adore the versatility of his creations. The cropped fur part for example can be removed and the leather vest be worn solo. How cool is that?!
Besides, I am a big fan of the color combination of light grey and olive. Those two hues are a great match, unexpected and interesting together.
My look: Brighton grey kalgan lamb cropped jacket, Valentin grey leather vest and thin grey sweater, all by Akris, Lady Buckle light olive green leather top handle bag
and olive green leather leggings, both by Gucci, Paris laced ankle boots in earth suede
by Saint Laurent, sunglasses by Céline, colorful bracelet by Louis Vuitton and clip on cuff earrings by Dior.

A new trend, yet so old. The traditional Moroccan slippers has taken the runways. So it’s without a doubt that the pointed-toe babouche is the new It-shoe of 2016. Shown in Céline’s Resort 2016 and already in many other Pre-fall 2016 collections, the style comes with an elongated toe and easily slips on.
Worn by the French nobility in the 16th century, as well as by bedouins, this traditional footwear can still be found today in many North African markets in bright colors with ornaments and embellishments. So it might be worth investing in a quick trip to Morocco.
The must-have version is Céline‘s babouche slipper with a single buckled strap across the neck of the foot. In stores now for CHF 660.00.
Or choose from this amazing selection below:
1 Jacno leather slippers by Pierre Hardy
2 Sabine suede and leather slippers by Rag & Bone
3 Lynda embellished slippers by Oscar de la Renta
4 Embellished raffia-trimmed leather slippers by Toga
5 Louie leather slippers by 3.1 Phillip Lim
6 Horsebit-detailed goat hair slippers by Gucci
7 Tian Princetown horsebit-detailed printed coated canvas slippers by Gucci
8 Embellished velvet slippers by Dolce & Gabbana
9 Chips embellished satin slippers by Roger Vivier

The fall colors were amazing this year. Yes, it was that beautiful. The leaves were crunching under my feet as I strolled along on these crisp Zurich days, enjoying the sunshine.
Fall 2015- we wished you would never leave us…
My look: Tweed jacket, tweet print cardigan and matching dress, all by Dolce & Gabbana, suede boots by Prada, wool-felt trilby by Gucci, tricolor tote bag by Céline, necklace by Chanel, Limelight Gala watch by Piaget, «Sidereal 2» sunglasses and earrings, both by Dior and diamond ring by Vainard Fine Jewellery.

Oversized sweaters worn as dresses add a certain coolness to your look. I couldn’t resist Christopher Kane’s “Lovers’ lace” – entwining bodies in coral and cream lace, that are inspired by life drawing lessons. Worn on the F/W 2015 runway, this oversized style is woven from a luxurious blend of wool and cashmere guaranteed to keep me warm when the weather cools here in Zurich.
My look: Hooded camel-wool wrap coat with belt by Chloé, lace-paneled wool and cashmere-blend sweater dress by Christopher Kane, fringed checked cashmere scarf by Burberry Prorsum, leopard-print Boston tote by Céline, Rockstud leather-trimmed knee boots by Valentino and Linda round-frame acetate sunglasses by Tom Ford.
