The bucket hat has perhaps had one of the biggest fashion glow-ups in the accessories market. Personally speaking, I love this relaxed style that has become a summer must-have for me, easy to pack and very lightweight, much easier than a big straw hat that hardly fits in your suitcase.

High-fashion brands, like Celine, Etro and Kate Spade took the bucket hat to the S/S 2021 runway, showing how trendy it is.

There’s no one way to wear a bucket hat anymore, as the style is as brilliant paired with a mesh beach cover-up as it is with a luxurious tropical print dress. Below you can find my favorites.

Salut de Saint-Tropez and Happy Birthday, Switzerland! Today, August 1st, Switzerland celebrates its 730th Federal Holiday. A good reason to wear something red and white while being on holidays. Here you see me at the entrance of our hotel, the iconic Byblos Saint Tropez, on our way to the beach.

Here are some amazing summer fragrances that’ll transport your nose to sunnier shores. From Dior‘s interpretation of a French Riviera icon, to Louis Vuitton‘s Californian Dream, there’s almost too many brand new summer perfumes to treat yourself to this season. Here are my favorites:

ON THE BEACH by LOUIS VUITTON

On the Beach, the new perfume by Louis Vuitton, recounts the delights of the coastline and the desire for wide open spaces, a blissful long stretch of beach, and the peaceful rush of the ocean. It is a Citrus Aromatic fragrance for women and men. I liked it a lot, as it really evokes the memories of laying at the beach.

Top Notes: Yuzu and Neroli
Middle Notes: Pink Pepper, Rosemary, Sand, Thyme and Cloves
Base Note: Cypress

EDEN-ROC by DIOR

This new fragrance dedicated to the iconic Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, is a burst of emotion that lingers in the air like a gentle Mediterranean breeze. A bright encapsulation of the Riviera, its balanced blend of mineral and plant essences invoke the feeling of discovery in a landscape of paradisiacal beauty. It is an a Amber Floral fragrance for women and men.

Top Notes: Sea Salt, Citruses and Mineral notes

Base Note: Pine Tree and Labdanum

SOLEIL BLANC by TOM FORD

This Amber Floral fragrance is for women and men. Unexpected, sultry and addictive, this solar floral scent has been one of my summer favorites since its launch in 2016. It evokes emote private islands where summer lasts all year.

Top Notes: Pistachio, Bergamot, Cardamom and Pink Pepper
Middle Notes: Tuberose, Ylang-Ylang and Jasmine
Base Note: Coconut, Amber, Tonka Bean and Benzoin

COCO MADEMOISELLE L’EAU BRUME DE PARFUM by CHANEL

The iconic scent switches to summer mode. Specially devised for the warmer days, this limited edition reveals a fresher and fruitier aspect of the fragrance with a formula as light as a perfume mist. A summer variation that allows fans of the scent’s boldness to enjoy its citrus and floral notes without moderation. It is a is a Chypre Fruity fragrance for women.

In April this year, I introduced you to CHANEL‘s amazing watch capsule collection CHANEL ELECTRO, with graphic codes borrowed from Electro culture.

In the 1990s, this music genre offered a radically original reflection of the night-time world and ambience within which it developed. Electronic music moved beyond the bounds of music to generate an authentic aesthetic culture. I know I got your attention at «cheesy». Fashion should be fun and not be taken too seriously! This yellow Prada sweater got the internet talking and let’s be frank, it resembles Swiss cheese that is known for its distinctive appearance with several holes. However, I find it very fashion-forward and extremely cool especially when worn together with the matching black open-knit sweater. Being proudly Swiss, I love cheese and I adore this Prada look so much. It was actually my favorite from the S/S 2021 collection and it is also very «Pantone Color of the Year 2021». With Central European weather going crazy at the moment, it is the perfect outfit at the moment.

In case your wondering about the placement of the bow brooch… one hole is placed a little unfortunate revealing a little too much in movement.

This week, I stepped inside and experienced the cute little CHANEL Factory 5 pop-up shop at Jelmoli in Zurich. Mixing the black and white identity of N°5 and the bright colors of pop culture offered the perfect background to discover the new limited-edition products and to shoot this fun S/S 2021 CHANEL look. No doubt… leggings are back!

These pop-ups, imagined as theme parks dedicated to N°5, immerse people in a world which mixes the black and white identity of N°5 and the bright colors of pop culture. The experience is intended to be entertaining and offers a journey around the 17 products in this limited edition collection.

In a factory setting, the public follows the product through the various production line workstations and ends its journey with a visit to the factory store where they can watch playful, offbeat demonstrations. In Zurich, you can explore it at Jelmoli until July 18, 2021.

Perched on the sixth floor, overlooking the city, the lake and the Alps, La Réserve Eden au Lac Zurich’s La Muña restaurant is the place to be. Here you see me on the terrace dressed in an all-denim look. With the recent ’90s fashion revival, the matching jean-on-jean style is making a cooler-than-ever comeback this season and has been seen on several runways.
