Today, Munich’s Oktoberfest would be kicking off, but unfortunately it was cancelled due to the current pandemic. Personally speaking, visiting the world’s biggest beer festival in my old hometown always marked the beginning of fall for me. I absolutely love wearing those fabulous traditional clothes. Therefore today’s post is dedicated to a loden-style designer look and I truly hope you will like it.

Greetings from the beautiful Villa d’Este. This was a difficult post to shoot as I faced three obstacles, first the photos were taken right before dinner with not the best light, secondly it was raining and last but not least my dear boyfriend was not in the mood to take some pictures as usual. However, I tried to get the best out of it, so that you can see one of my favorite summer outfits. I am such a big fan of jumpsuits and this one is light and unexpected as it looks like a dress.

Mademoiselle Chanel’s favourite flower, the camellia, lends itself to every style. Also known as the «Japanese rose», the beautiful flower is mostly found in Asian countries and symbolises long-lasting devotion and became an element of her style in 1913. Its geometric curves encourage endless creativity; its perfect roundness expresses pure femininity. More than a flower, the camellia is an inspiration.

Coco Chanel liked the simplicity of the bloom that has no thorns or fragrance, which means that that it would never clash with her iconic No. 5 fragrance. Furthermore, she loved the shape of the flowers and its white color that stood out against her famous little black dresses. With all the safety precautions I am honestly so not in the mood for traveling somewhere. And to be honest, there is no need to with these beautiful sunny temperatures in Switzerland at the moment.
