I spent the last two days in Monaco where I was invited to an amazing event by Roger Dubuis.
Here you see my travel look:
Bag, scarf and graffiti sneakers (all three from the Stephen Sprouse Tribute Collection) and top with lace border by Louis Vuitton, cardigan by DKNY, jacket by Stella McCartney, jeans by Chloé, sunglasses by Chanel and watch by Roger Dubuis.
I stayed at the beautiful Hotel de Paris which is one of my favourites. Please enjoy my impressions below and stay tuned for the photos of the gala event.

Python is the new leopard, python print an essential for F/W 2011. Even trendier is the real reptile skin that adorns coats, jackets and all sorts of accessories. The runways were full of those exotic, wild assortments.
If you don’t want to go overboard, opt for a great python handbag to live this trend.

This morning, I left the house in those beautiful Chloé wedges from the S/S 2011 collection and came home in those…
…tulle embellished sandals by H&M. You might ask why did she change shoes?
The reason was that I got the biggest blisters from the Chloé wedges. My feet were honestly in such pain that I draggged myself to the nearest H&M to buy another pair of shoes.
And they are pretty cute, don’t you think?!
Wedges by H&M for CHF 69.90

The Dalai Lama once said that the most generous act there is, compassion, is actually a selfish act: “If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion.”
Helping others in need is a small act of kindness and generosity. 50% up to 100% of all proceeds from the sale of these T-shirts will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross earthquake appeal.
Show your support in style and make a charitable fashion statement.
My favourite is the one in the middle by SIMEON FARRAR FOR JAPAN Kate Mouse cotton T-shirt, available at net-à-porter.com from today.

While I think that mothers should be celebrated every day, it’s nice to have a day to be showered with love, affection and presents.
To all the fabulous fashionable moms around the globe, Happy Mother’s Day!
Outfit: Floral gown by Ralph Lauren Collection, embellished pumps by Valentino and embossed leather handbag by Chloé.

Fash Friday time, your chance to shop today’s obsessions. I am crazy for those Chloé leather shorts and the bodysuit. A perfect outfit for weekend nights, great for dancing and partying. The Chloé leather wristlet bag lets you go hands free at cocktail hour and those cage ankle boots by Alexander McQueen will definitely be the talk of the evening. Add a feodora hat for the ultimate mysterious allure.

Here is my fifth and final look from the LuisaViaRoma Total Styling Lab. This time I focused on the maxi trend and gave my look some romantic touches by adding a bow belt that I tied around my waist and the cute straw hat.
Nothing epitomises chic summer dressing like a ground skimming dress paired with flat sandals.
Chiffon Blouse: Chloé – Maxi Dress: Semi-Couture – Hat: Lanvin – Belt: Valentino – Gladiator Sandals: Chloé – Bag: Marc Jacobs

For summer many designers focused on the midi length. As mid calf is for most women a critical point (you really have to be very tall and ultra-skinny), it seems all natural that the maxi length was spotted on many runways, too. Having a bohemian,`70s inspired feel, the creations were to die for!
Flowing maxi gowns ripple and float around the body, revealing as much as they conceal. Billowing slash-front skirts show off legs from top to toe, no tights allowed. This is sex appeal to the max!

Versus S/S 2011
Designers explored a new erogenous zone for S/S 2011: The waistline. Other body parts weren’t safe from exposure either.
With the help of cutouts, they played with detailing and the sexy allure. From small ones on the collarbone, stomach and bust that were seen at Versus to big, strategic cutouts accentuating the waist found on Salvatore Ferragamo’s dresses.

As it seems to be a sticky trend, we better start to work out.
Cutouts work only well on toned girls…

I arrived in my beautiful embellished silk blouse and the little camel coloured mini skirt, both by Chloé F/W 2010, combined with a shearling waistcoat by Ralph Lauren Black Label and a fur jacket by Prada, both from previous seasons. During the flight, I had perfered staying comfy in my flat suede Louis Vuitton boots from the Cruise 2011 collection. To protect my hair (it is raining in Florence), I put on one of my favourite hats by Balenciaga. Carine Roitfeld loves this one, too as you can see below (Photos: The Sartorialist).
In the evening, I just changed from my honey-coloured „Twenties“ micro-fishnet tights into my new „Rebecca“ tulle-look net tights with small dots, both by Wolford, and finished off my look with my green punk platform pumps by Yves Saint Laurent and my killer clutch by Balmain. Jewelry by Chanel.
Here in Florence, I am staying in a wonderful Junior Suite at the J.K.Place hotel which has a very spacious closet. You see it is quite filled…
I packed 30kg for the weekend. For fashionable days like that, you better be prepared!
