This week, I went on a girls trip with my daughter to London. We had an absolute blast despite the rainy weather.
Here is what I wore on the arrival day:
Houndstooth coat by Gucci, navy and green printed silk blouse by Stella McCartney, cropped wool pants by Giulietta, my beloved Suzanne studded leather ankle boots by Chloé, flap-over bag by Tom Ford, rainbow coloured scarf by Christopher Kane, Lady Excalibur watch by Roger Dubuis, Daisy necklace by Dior Haute Joaillerie and 18-karat gold horsebit necklace by Gucci.
Stay tuned for more from London!

The beautiful sunny spring weather has put me in such a good mood and inspired me to wear bold prints and vibrant colours.
My look: Salamandra printed silk-crepe dress by Mary Katrantzou, neon-pink wool-blend crepe biker jacket by Christopher Kane, blue scarf by Gucci, lace pumps by Christian Dior, bracelet by Anselm Reyle for Dior, handle bag by Versace and statement necklace by Gabriele Frantzen.
The neon-pink wool-blend crepe biker jacket by Christopher Kane is such a versatile piece, one of my season’s favourites.
I am in love with Gabriele Frantzen‘s statement jewelry pieces that take every outfit to a new level of style. Her creations are now available at Saks Fifth Avenue and in Zurich at Gassmann among others.
Tropical fish, fields of flowers and crushed car sculptures were the inspirations behind Mary Katrantzou‘s highly acclaimed S/S12 collection, which took her signature aesthetic to new fashion heights. This precision-cut Salamandra printed silk-crepe dress is the perfect canvas for the designer’s explosive and unforgettable prints. Don’t you agree?
This bracelet is a collector’s piece. Designed by Berlin artist Anselm Reyle for Dior.

This was my look on the last day of Paris Fashion Week. I started off at the Louis Vuitton F/W 2012 show with a ponytail. Later at the Miu Miu F/W 2012 show, I opened my hair and wore my little tiara.
You might recognize the dress from a previous post. As you see, I am following my own recommendations.
My look: Floral leather biker vest and matching tote bag, both by Céline, neon lace-sleeve wool-blend crepe dress by Christopher Kane, coat, suede booties, earrings and tiara headband, all by Miu Miu.

With this cold weather outside, I just can’t get enough of spring’s vibrant bold colours. I am absolutely crazy for this neon lace-sleeve wool-blend crepe dress by Christopher Kane. It is such a great investment piece that you could wear for many different occasions.
Work the neon trend by adding the studded neon pink leather pumps by McQ Alexander McQueen and the contrast leather-trimmed neoprene clutch by Pierre Hardy. This is colour blocking par excellence.
You can achieve a completely new look just by changing the accessories. Here are some ideas how to combine the gorgeous dress:
1 CONCERT IN THE PARK
Frayed tweed shoulder bag by Miu Miu and leather and crochet-knit platform sandals by Missoni.
2 SUMMER NIGHT
Leather and woven straw charm bag by Lanvin and python pumps by Alexandre Birman.
3 FIRST DATE
Happicolo leather shoulder bag by Lanvin and colour-block patent-leather sandals by Giuseppe Zanotti.
4 COCKTAIL PARTY
Sweet Charity python and leather shoulder bag by Christian Louboutin and Claudia embroidered suede pumps by Brian Atwood.
5 LADIES LUNCH
Madeleine patent-leather duffle bag by Chloé and Yolanda 100 patent-leather pumps by Christian Louboutin.
Happy Shopping!

Good news for S/S 2012, everything’s coming up roses (and orchids, and daffodils, and daisies). Head to toe floral prints are one of the season’s biggest trends and were seen all over the runways.
My all-time favourite Mary Katrantzou who is known for her bold prints and vivid colors, showed this trend in perfection, flowers and print – the perfect combination of her strengths. Her runway was divided by a field of carnations. Please click here for the previous post.
Take a peek at the most fun garden party of the season! Floral prints, extreme edition!
The colours range from fabulous bright colours reminiscent of a tropical vacation to soft neutrals and stunning pastels. Lilac and light green are among summer’s favourites.
As if the floral prints weren’t enough, the designers went and attached 3-D flowers and embellishments to the fabrics. A season’s must! Best collection: Louis Vuitton!
I’m betting it won’t be long before a style icon like Alexa Chung is spotted in this cool Chloé or Prada outfit!
If you didn’t think you could wear a head to toe look printed with multi-coloured florals and still look cool, Erdem just proved you totally wrong.
From the necklace, to the shoes, to the bags, to the earrings, this S/S 2012 trend is a complete floral explosion!
Stay tuned for more to complement this look…

Yesterday, we had the most beautiful weather in Zurich. The sun was the perfect background for the baptism of one my best friend’s little baby girl. I chose a quite extreme coloured outfit and as I always say, don’t take fashion too serious, have fun and experiment. So my friends came up with some interesting associations like a Stabilo pen or one even knew the matching Mercedes car for me.
Jessica Lace Dress and Keke Lace Jacket by Christopher Kane, Bag and Shoes by Miu Miu, Tulle Necklace by Lanvin and Hat by Chanel.
I loved the flowers and cake so much that I added some photos to this post.
Have a lovely Sunday!

This winter, there is only one way to wear your crisp white shirt: buttoned-up to the very top. The wheel of fashion is always turning. On the runways, there were lots of masculine references, the season is all about the suits. Designers are paying tribute to the working girls and to keep things demure, no more cleavage is shown. But no worries, combined with a cool pair of shorts, the look is more about sophisticated minimalism instead of looking all prude.
My favourites are the shirts with embellished collars (Miu Miu and Christopher Kane) that are now in stores.
Enjoy experimenting!

Today’s look has a little surprise. Let’s see if you spot it.
Printed T-Shirt by Irmasworld – Jeans by Fè-Sonho Segredo Bahia– Python Palais Pumps by Yves Saint Laurent – Baroque Sunglasses and Striped Sombrero by Prada – Neon Clutch by Christopher Kane – Bangles (Souvenir from Dubai).
Let me tell you more about the Art Print Irma Tee: Irma is an internationally known fashion illustration that has fans around the world. In Japan, she graces many covers and her success is unbelievable. There is a real Irma hype. So it is no wonder that ten percent of the proceeds will go to the Red Cross to benefit Japanese relief projects. Sometimes I see myself in the lovely figurine that is drawn by a friend of mine.

The jeans by the new brand Fè-Sonho Segredo Bahia were a gift of LuisaVia Roma (Thank you!) and I couldn’t believe my eyes when I first tried them on. Here is the surprise: They have butt padding. First I couldn’t think of someone who would like to have a bigger bottom, but the position of the „outer implants“ is above so that it creates a nice apple shape. I mean those jeans come from Brazil and this is the home of the perfect silhouette!
What do you think?
