No doubt about it: 2019 has been the year of the clutch and The Pouch is the It-bag everyone is dying to get their hands on thanks to Daniel Lee at Bottega Veneta, who is also responsible for the It-shoes of both seasons. He created this ultra modern must-have with its slouchy, oversized silhouette that’s big enough to hold your phone, wallet, sunglasses and more. Show it off in-hand or tucked in the crook of the arm.
The Pouch comes in many different colour options
Celebrities and street style stars have been carrying the new The Pouch’ bag on repeat, undoubtedly the reason why clutch bags have become a fashion staple. Whether worn with jeans and a sweater or a red carpet look, the clutch reached new levels of outfit possibilities.
My favorite: The Pouch in dark blue
It also comes in crocodile, metallic and intreccio.
It’s not just The Pouch that everyone is loving… there are many more Bottega Veneta bags you should have a look at. Keep scrolling to discover how the Italian Maison made its way back to become the label of the year! And the see the preview for S/S 2020 at the end of the post…
The Pouch fits a lot of things in the must-have large size.
Good news is that Net-à-Porter and Matchesfashion are expecting some serious restock of The Pouch. Stay tuned and keep on checking by clicking on the highlighted text or contact your personal shopper!

For S/S 2020, The Pouch will also be available with a chunky chain. Very cool!

Brett Heyman’s line of clutches and bags EDIE PARKER is inspired by the mid-century styles favored by showgirls and socialites of the ’50s and ’60s. The brand’s glitter-finish and acrylic designs are all-American – each one sketched in New York and handmade by skilled craftsmen in Chicago using New Jersey-sourced materials.

As you already know, I am a huge fan of Matthew Williamson. So of course, I paid a visit to his NYC store in the Meatpacking District on 14th street during my last visit.
The shop’s bridal section is just so wonderful. If I weren’t married already, it would be my absolute dream to wed in one of those gowns. If you are based in Europe, I recommend a visit to the London store.

As promised, here are the detail shots of the Prada accessories for S/S 2012. Finally a collection that will satisfy both, men and women. Perpetuating a stereotype, the stronger sex is known for its two meaningful relationships in life: Girls and cars. Next summer, Miuccia wrappes the girls in `50s inspired Cadillac car prints and puts their feet on fire. Those clutch bags are just divine. I am completely in love with this hot wheel craziness! And you?

While being in Milan, I went to a press event hosted by Bulgari in their newly re-opened boutique in Via Montenapoleone for the launch of the Monete S/S 2012 collection.
Given Bulgari’s ancient Greek origins and Roman influence, ancient coins are seen as a magnificent way to link the past and the present. Therefore the Italian house has relaunched its historic Monete collection from the `60s with a beautiful new design featuring goddess-adorned coins and chunky gold chains remininscent of Ancient Rome. The Monete theme runs though a line of leather handbags and jewlery pieces.
In the evening, the gardens of the Bulgari hotel were the perfect location to celebrate the launch of the new collection. Milan became Ancient Rome and all eyes were on the limber acrobats from Cirque du Soleil.
