My Look: Power Dressing

Mixing two vibrant colors with some neutrals and adding some sparkle – that is my kind of power dressing. This exploration of taking colors that are opposites on the color wheel, like yellow and blue, and pairing them together to make interesting and complementary color combinations, is called color blocking and something I truly like to do. This trend is said to originate from the artwork of Dutch painter, Piet Mondrian.

My look: Corduroy puff-sleeve coat, matching corduroy mini skirttulle crop top with crystals, and crystal-embellished leather clutch, all by Prada, layered mesh bodysuit by FendiHolly embellished suede knee-high boots by Paris Texassilver-tone crystal clip earrings by Alessandra Rich, and Big Bang All Black Zermatt by Hublot.
