My Look: Timelapse

Sometimes I feel that I am living a life in timelapse. This morning, I had to wake up very early to catch the first flight out of Heathrow and I had to remind me where I am when I woke up. Last week I was in Paris, next week I am in Athens. I love traveling so much. However, I have a feeling time just flies when you are so busy.

These photos were taken in Paris before I went on the Orient- Express, where I wore this outfit for dinner. I love the little timelapse reference of the video cassette bag.

My look: Convertible embellished cashmere and cotton-blend cardigan by Areaicon, dropped waist ruffle tulle logo graphic skirt (Look 1 F/W 2021), and VHS video tape reverse monogram clutch bag (Look 1 S/S 2020), both by Louis Vuitton, Double Bow crystal-embellished glittered leather point-toe pumpsicon by Mach & Mach, embellished silver-tone belt, and silver-tone, crystal and faux pearl clip earrings by Alessandra Richicon, and Neughman pilot sunglasses by Tom Ford.

My Look: Black and White

Inspired by the Met Gala 2023 theme, where many celebrities wore versions of the two shades at the one of the year’s biggest fashion events, I would love to show you a monochromatic black and white CHANEL look that will always be in style.

My look: White leather jacket with black piping (Look 3 Cruise 2021), white wool sweater with logo detail (Coco Neige 2021), black wide pants, black and white sneakers, black and white belt bag (Look 27 Cruise 2021), necklace with bag charm, and white resin cuff bracelet with faux grey pearl CC logo (2015), all by CHANEL, silver-tone, crystal and faux pearl clip earrings by Alessandra Richicon, Carrera Automatic Chronograph by TAG Heuer, and Tallow cat-eye sunglassesicon by Zimmermann.

My Look: Classy With a Savage Side

Classy with a savage side… I love juxtapositions. Traditional bouclé tweed that emphasizes the shape of the body is mixed with oversized velvet for a fierce yet sweet look. I got many compliments walking around the sunny streets of Boston in this beautiful outfit. Here you see me in front of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church on Newbury Street that is located right next to my hotel, The Newbury Boston.

My look: Double-breasted velvet jacket by Saint Laurent, bouclé tweed jacket, and matching mini bouclé tweed skirt, embellished silver-tone belt and silver-tone, crystal and faux pearl clip earrings, all by Alessandra Rich, cropped top with logo, and bouclé tweed cap, both by CHANEL, black suede boots by Prada, cutout acetate butterfly sunglasses in shiny black smoke by Fendi, and VSLING mini top handle handbag in black with sparkling embroideryicon by Valentino.

My Look: New Proportions

For F/W 2022 Dolce & Gabbana were challenging the dress codes for the metaverse. The outcome? Superheroine proportions in vibrant colors, a new tailoring that focused on a triangle silhouette with extremely broad shoulders that signal power and confidence.

My look: Cropped wool-ponte blazer, and matching wrap-effect wool-blend ponte midi skirt, both by Dolce & Gabbana, lace bralette, lace leggings and chain and leather waist belt, all by CHANEL, Medusa Aevitas embellished satin platform pumpsicon by Versace, and graffiti classic city tote bag by Balenciaga, leather, faux pearl and crystal chokericon, and silver-tone, crystal and faux pearl clip earrings, both by iconAlessandra Rich.

My Look: Luxe Hippie

Everyone is into a retro denim style this year, with wide-leg jeans being a major must-have. This trend cycles through every decade, and it’s returning as a massive staple in 2022. I especially love this pair with its printed inserts. It reminds me so much of the ’90s when we were sewing these details into the side seams of our jeans. Luxe hippie at its best!

The photos were taken at Clinique La Prairie, where I cannot wait to go back after all the fashion week craziness.

My look: Cropped ruffled printed top, and matching wide-leg jeans with printed inserts (Look 7 Cruise 2021), green flap pocket bag with colorful strap (Look 5 Pre-collection Summer 2021), all by CHANELJodie suede platform sandalsicon by Saint Laurent, oversized gold-tone, leather, crystal and faux pearl clip earrings by Dolce & Gabbana, and oversized metal frame sunglassesicon by Gucci.

My Look: Don’t Mesh With Me

I just love being in Saint Tropez with its vibrant atmosphere. A few days ago we celebrated Patrick’s birthday at our hotel, the iconic Byblos Saint Tropez. I wore this amazing mesh gown which is surprisingly also extremely comfortable. Sparkling the night away… we finished in the early morning hours! Don’t mesh with me… that is for sure.

My look: Open-back crystal-embellished mesh maxi dress by David Koma, Palmette crystal-embellished suede cross-body bag by Christian Louboutin, silver-tone, crystal and faux pearl clip earrings by Alessandra Richicon, Angel leather platform sandals by Gucci, bracelets and Panthère de Cartier Manchette 22mm 18-karat rose gold and diamond watchicon, all by Cartier.

My Look: Lily of the Valley

I am wishing you a wonderful first day of May! It is the day to gift lilies of the valley as a symbol of springtime to someone whom you would like to wish happiness. I am wearing them as a beautiful print today.

It was also Christian Dior‘s favorite flower and his lucky charm. He would stitch a stem of lily of the valley into the seam of his dresses for good luck. To celebrate this beautiful tradition, I have been spoilt by the Dior team in Zurich today with a beautiful gift.

To find out more about the symbolism of lilies of the valley and the history behind it, I invite you to read a previous post by clicking here.

My Look: Paisley

After my master detox program at Clinique La Prairie I feel so full of energy which translates into my choice of fashion. Vibrant, colorful, full of life, for Gucci‘s «Epilogue» collection Alessandro Michele takes inspiration from the bohemian styles of the ’60s and ’70s. «Epilogue» was conceived as a vibrant rejection of fashion’s more «traditional» guidelines. It reveals all of the elements that have guided the Gucci aesthetic over the last six years. This brightly coloured paisley print ensemble speaks to the narrative used throughout the collection. It’s cut for a figure-skimming fit from breathable cotton and linen-blend canvas printed with a rainbow of swirling paisleys.

My look: Paisley-print canvas crop topicon, and matching paisley-print cotton-blend canvas maxi skirticon, Angel leather platform sandals, all by Gucci, oversized gold-tone, crystal and faux pearl clip earrings by Dolce & Gabbana, Gilda super mini crystal-embellished lamé toteicon by Amina Muaddi, and Royal Oak 37mm 18-karat frosted rose gold watch by Audemars Piguet.
