The Retro One-Piece Swimsuit Is Back

The retro one-piece swimsuit feels so right again. Better than ever, those new offerings are really fun, and could double as bodysuits. You can style them with pants or tailored jackets to the office or with hot pants to the next festival.

In the end, they will accompany us through the summer, reminding us of beaches we’ve lain on, and boats we’ve jumped off. Enjoy and channel your own Baywatch moment.

My Look: Cyprus Nights

Last night, I attended the gala dinner of the Creative Women Conference, held at the newly opened Parklane Luxury Collection Resort & Spa in Limassol. My last days were filled with amazing conversations and encounters for which I am truly thankful. Before I will tell you more about this international conference for entrepreneurial women, I wanted to share my first outfit post from Cyprus. Lilac head-to-toe is a big trends for F/W 2019.

Please Don’t Mow My Lawn

Please don’t mow my lawn –  how funny and peculiar are those thongs and slide sandals? Designed to resemble a vibrant floral garden, Dolce & Gabbana‘s S/S 2019 must-have footwear pieces are saturated in artificial grass with blooming flowers sprouting across the vamps and a logo-printed rubber sole. Slip them on while lounging poolside or just to astonish your neighbours.

My Look: Never Rest

Never rest – keep rising. Publishing an online magazine means you never have a free day. You have to upload new content on a daily base. Funnily enough, I never had a day where I didn’t know what to write about. It is more that I don’t find the time to feature everything I like. I love what I do and therefore I do it often.

In terms of fashion, I adore the pajama trend. Face it, everyone loves something cozy to go to work, or for just running errands. The velvet material makes it look stylish while being comfortable.

Today it is International Women’s Day (IWD), a focal point in the movement for women’s rights, a day to celebrate womanhood. Let’s all be confident today and wear something fun that makes us feel good. I am looking forward to spending the evening among my best girlfriends, who always support and inspire me, who make me smile, whom I admire.

On my birthday, I love being surrounded by my close girlfriends who surprised me with a spontaneous birthday lunch. Honestly I should call it all-day-lunch as we went on until 6.30pm! I feel blessed to have such amazing women in my life. Thank you to everyone who made my day so special!

Dolce & Gabbana – The Only One 2

The second chapter of The Only One story. As though enveloped in a sensual red veil, The Only One 2 builds on the floriental legacy of The Only One line with an intoxicating new scent, suffused with fruity red notes. The Only One’s iconic signature of coffee and violet is reimagined with powdery red roses, the symbol of love and seduction.

Top Notes: Red Berries, Pear and Freesia
Middle Notes: Red Rose Superessence, Violet and Coffee
Base Notes: Tonka Bean and Patchouli

Sparkling like the gems adorning Dolce&Gabbana’s Alta Gioielleria collections, the flacon is reinvented with the hue and lustre of a faceted ruby. The bottle recalls the same iconic color of love and desire as the red ingredients of the fragrance within.

In the colorful campaign shot by the Morelli Brothers in an original trattoria in Trastevere in Rome, British actress Emilia Clarke embodies a modern, empowered woman.

CHF 81.00 (30ml), CHF 115.20 (50ml) and CHF 160.00 (100ml). Available in March 2019.

My Look: French Cancan

Friday’s dress code «Parisian Chic – Je Ne Regrette Rien» for the amazing  ASW Winter Weekend in Gstaad was so much fun. I went through my closet and put together some vintage and new pieces for this Cancan-style outfit. The tights incorporated excessive glitz that you cannot see so well on the pictures. I hope that you like it as much as I do.

My look: Vintage bustier with a theatrical Parisian print of the late 19th century by Dolce & Gabbana, stretch-knit high-waisted panties by Prada, Cassandre small suede shoulder bag by Saint Laurent, burlesque can-can style boots by Louis Vuitton, feather boa by Diorgrape colored feather broochicon by Christopher Kanefeather-embellished velvet headband by Prada, Jennifer glitter net tightsicon by Wolford, Eiffel tower pearl earringsmulti-strand pearl body chain necklace and lace sleeves, all by Chanel, rose diamond ring by Piaget.

Cinderella Slippers

«One shoe can change your life.» – Cinderella

A must for 2019 – live the modern fairytale with these pumps that reference the fragility of Cinderella’s glass slippers in a contemporary context. They’re crafted with a high heel and flattering point toe, then made of or at least covered with PVC for protection from the wear and tear of a night on the dancefloor – a striking statement on freeing women from constraints.
