There is a new treasure chest in the Caribbean as Dolce & Gabbana inaugurates its first boutique on Saint Barthélemy, adding a precious tile with a distinctly paradise flavour to the mosaic of new shops around the world. As I am on the island at the moment, I couldn’t wait to discover the exclusive colorful special collection designed for St. Barth that is only available here.

My favourites? The beautifully embellished sun hats and beach bags. To make the gentlemen happy while you are shopping there is in the tropical garden surrounded by palm trees on the ground floor, the Dolce & Gabbana Martini Bar.

In general, we are more confronted in life with things that appear real, but most of the time are usually fake. In terms of fashion this season, we are confronted with «fake» T-shirts that are actually true designer pieces, but are looking like counterfeit products.
Appliquéd distressed printed cotton-jersey T-shirt by Gucci
From Alessandro Michele‘s brilliant idea to create a plain white tee printed with the house’s GG with its signature green and red stripe that looked like a bootleg copy to Dolce & Gabbana‘s logo play.
Shopper «GG Ghost Real» by Gucci
Both tapped into the same ideas as Gucci‘s collaboration with graffiti artist Trouble Andrew, aka GucciGhost, for F/W 2016, when he sprayed bags with the word «Real» above the house’s name, that flew off the shelves and will come back this season.

Two years ago, I have already introduced you to British brand Bombki (for the previous post click here) that creates decorative baubles that combine tradition with novelty.
Designed by Michael Peterson, each glass model is hand-painted by skilled artisans in an array of vibrant shapes, inspired by different cultures and events. This season, they have come up with many playful versions that I truly adore.

This was my outfit that I wore to the Kenzo x H&M launch party in NYC. The dress has been one of the stars of Dolce & Gabbana‘s spectacular F/W 2016 show with its amazing cat print, one of the most beautiful trends of the season (click here for a previous post about it). It has elbow-length sleeves, a nipped-in waist and gently flared hem. I styled this piece with skyrocketing heels and a box bag with a fun hand painted statement. Have a look below how cute it is also from the inside with its sweet little engraved mirror.
My look: Printed cady dress and Dolce embellished printed leather shoulder bag, both by Dolce & Gabbana, striped leather platform pumps by Gucci and pearl choker with evil eye symbol by Chanel (good to be protected from bad energy these days:-)).
