My Look: CHANEL Show

Last Tuesday, I attended the CHANEL S/S 2021 show at the Grand Palais in Paris. Virginie Viard presented a beautiful collection that I will show you shortly. My look was all about CHANEL and I mixed different pieces from different seasons to achieve this kind of ’80s inspired style I truly love.

Designer Face Masks

This fall season, most outfits have one thing in common, a face mask, as we now can’t enter most shops and events without them. However, besides thinking about your look, it’s an important item for practical purposes. High-street retailers have been selling masks for several months now, but most major luxury fashion brands have stayed away from creating face masks for commercial purposes so far. Finally, numerous designers, such as BurberryDolce & Gabbana, Marni and Fendi, have started to produce fashionable face coverings with vivid prints so that you can coordinate them with their outfits. Find my favorites below, to shop click on the highlighted product description. The mask in the cover photo is by Burberry and can be found here.

My Look: Traditional

Today, Munich’s Oktoberfest would be kicking off, but unfortunately it was cancelled due to the current pandemic. Personally speaking, visiting the world’s biggest beer festival in my old hometown always marked the beginning of fall for me. I absolutely love wearing those fabulous traditional clothes. Therefore today’s post is dedicated to a loden-style designer look and I truly hope you will like it.

My look: Tyrolean loden jacket, matching loden shorts, and bow-top felted cap, all by Miu Miu, bustier corset top with bows by Dolce & Gabbana, embellished leather pumpsicon by Gucciblack and white grained leather bag with gold-tone metal details by CHANEL, and velvet and gold-tone multi-stone choker by Etro.

Trending: Tied-Cuff Pants

After Resort 2020‘s clever styling trick (see trouser tuck) that has seen sandals wrapped around your pants, designers are taking the trend up a notch this fall and present trousers in tapered shape with ties at the cuffs that offer the same stylish effect.

My Look: Bookworm

I would consider myself a fashionable bookworm. In my house, I have my own little library, filled with all sorts of books. Reading is so much more my thing than watching TV. During quarantine I indulged in so many captivating books – psychological thrillers are my favorite genre. You can find my reading list on my Amazon x Sandra’s Closet book shop. Stay tuned, as I will upload a new section very soon. Don’t forget, fashion can be as imaginative as your favorite stories.

My Look: Hello Kitty

When I was a little girl I would play dress up and prance around, twirling tulle skirts, and admiring the glamorous reflection of my sparkly earrings. Today I wished I could just beam me back to those fun times playing with my Barbie dolls and Hello Kitty gadgets. My iPhone crashed completely and it took me 8 hours to rescue everything. This made me realize how dependent we all are on this portable device and how I sometimes miss those carefree days.

Playing dress up is still so much fun for me and I love to indulge in those happy, pink, and girly moments. Therefore I left my daughter’s playroom exactly as it was when she was a little kid. The perfect backdrop for this fun and playful outfit.

My Look: Sylt

Greetings from Sylt! I enjoyed a wonderful long weekend with great friends. Germany’s most famous island can be best explored by bike which you can rent everywhere. Here you see me on my way to the famous beach bar Buhne 16 that is only a short ride away from Kampen. My outfit was the perfect combination for all those different activities during the day. Stay tuned for more!

My Look: Millennial Cool

This is by far my favorite look of the season. It just makes me so happy. Dior’s Dioraura collection is inspired by the creative community, Monte Verità, located close to Ascona in Switzerland. The beautiful pieces all feature muted rainbow colors reminiscent of the sunset, reflecting the themes of aura and energy. In today’s troubled time, it sends also a message: the rainbow knows no gender! It stands for diversity and is a symbol of peace. The same goes for Hublot‘s new Big Bang Millennial Pink, whose color involves everything from gender roles to ideas of beauty, evolution, and science. It’s a positive hue that represents a kind of tongue-in-cheek prettiness. It’s a way to be pretty while holding on to your intellectual mindset.

My look: Dioraura long dress in multicolor silk, Dioraura Book tote in multicolor stripe embroidery, J’adior bracelet set in multicolor cotton and with antique palladium finish metal detailing, and Dioraura Mitzah scarf in multicolor silk twill, all by DiorC-plaque suede platform sandalsicon by Chloé, gold-tone and wood hoop clip earringsicon by Dolce & Gabbana, Aurora oversized butterfly acetate sunglassesicon by Zimmermann and Big Bang Millennial Pink by Hublot.

Millennials are increasingly redefining what it means to be a grown-up in a seriously troubled world. Sometimes, we all want to be soothed — and what better way to do that than looking at your watch in gentle millennial pink. So uplifting!

My Look: Escape the Night

As promised here comes the second outfit from my fiancé’s 36th birthday bash at La Réserve Eden au Lac last Saturday. I quickly had changed right before the birthday cake arrived and we indulged in a glass of Louis XIII. Afterwards we moved up to La Muña that had transformed into a night club. If you ask yourself, why did I change? I love dancing and that works best in something comfy yet stylish. Therefore I went for this fun leopard-print stretch-jersey jumpsuit.

My look: Off-the-shoulder leopard-print stretch-jersey jumpsuiticon by Halpern, Bianca leather sandals by Saint Laurent, Devotion mini leather bag by Dolce & Gabbana, leather and suede waist belt by Balmain, and logo earrings by CHANEL.

We truly escaped the night last week, the party went on until 8 am…

Dolce & Gabbana Rosa

The pleasure of the family that meets at the dining table and the conviviality that survives even in the delicate moment: Dolce & Gabbana and Donnafugata renew their collaboration by giving life to Rosa, a new rosé wine with a fruity and floral personality.

The perfect ambassador of two Made in Italy excellences, united by their unconditional love for Sicily, passion for work and attention to detail.

Born from a vintage of 2019, Rosa is characterized by an original blend of two of the most important autochthonous vines of the island’s tradition: Nerello Mascalese and Nocera.

With a refined pink tinge, this wine is defined by an elegant bouquet of jasmine, enriched with delicate hints of wild strawberry, peach and bergamot. It has a very pleasant fragrance, minerality and persistence.

Perfect for aperitifs, raw fish, vegetarian dishes and delicate meats. It is excellent to be served at 10-12° C. Rosé is always a great idea in summer, and indulging in a Dolce & Gabbana moment is even better… for more information, click here please.
