2013 is starting with a fashionable comeback of previous season’s must-haves of which some could be truly named vintage pieces. Another proof for my closet theory, keep everything, there will be a time to wear it again. So I am very happy to have all those pieces still in my wardrobe…
Olivia embellished leather waist belt by Moschino
The return of the iconic Moschino belt is probably the biggest surprise for me. I bought mine in Rome during my final school trip… a long time ago. It looks so used that I have ordered a new one now. Gosh, who would have thought that?!
The Britannia Skull leather box clutch by Alexander McQueen
This Union Jack-inspired clutch has become officially a true classic and will vamp up every outfit in seconds.
Double-breasted wool-blend blazer by Balmain
First launch for Pre-fall 2010, this blazer of glory sold out in seconds. Now, it is back in black. Hurry up to stock up your colour palette or to finally add this classic to your wardrobe selection.

Yesterday, I had a pretty busy day with different events and the opening exhibition of the Gunter Sachs Collection at Sotheby’s in the evening. After many days of bad weather, the sun was shining for a change. So I chose this look that worked day to night perfectly:
Python-print silk dress by Chloé, double-breasted blazer by Balmain (a similar great piece is this military coat by Balmain which is available now), tri-colour Trapeze bag by Céline, Lady Excalibur watch by Roger Dubuis, belt and boots by Gucci.

Say hello to my object of desire from Balmain`s Pre-fall 2010 collection, available soon and already spotted on stylist Emanuelle Alt. The double-breasted navy blazer with detailed gold buttons is beautifully tailored with an amazing shoulder line. This is true effortless chic. A navy jacket is anyway something that everybody should have in their closet. Classics endure and surprisingly even Balmain can produce them!
I also love the single-breasted model (see showroom photos below), both will be available at net-à-porter or Designer am See among others.
Thumbs up for my blazer of glory!
LoL, Sandra
