Today, Munich’s Oktoberfest would be kicking off, but unfortunately it was cancelled due to the current pandemic. Personally speaking, visiting the world’s biggest beer festival in my old hometown always marked the beginning of fall for me. I absolutely love wearing those fabulous traditional clothes. Therefore today’s post is dedicated to a loden-style designer look and I truly hope you will like it.
My look: Tyrolean loden jacket, matching loden shorts, and bow-top felted cap, all by Miu Miu, bustier corset top with bows by Dolce & Gabbana, embellished leather pumps by Gucci, black and white grained leather bag with gold-tone metal details by CHANEL, and velvet and gold-tone multi-stone choker by Etro.

Yesterday, I had another front row experience than usual by attending the «going public» event of ASMALLWORLD at the SIX Swiss Exchange in Zurich as the first listed social media company there. At 9.01 am, the «ring the bell» celebration took place in Swiss style with a cow bell and it was very exciting watching the first trading day happening in full swing.
My business look:My look: Embroidered wool cape, silk wool jacket with ruffled hem, and matching pants, floral printed silk blouse, feline earrings with crystals, red silk scarf and embellished leather pumps, all by Gucci and Kelly So Black by Hermès. Pearl necklace by Chanel, Mitza ring and daisy necklace, both by Dior Haute Joaillerie.

Last month, when I visited Milan with my daughter, I took her to the Teatro alla Scala, the famous opera house in Milan, which is regarded as one of the leading theatres in the world. Most of Italy’s greatest operatic artists, and many of the finest singers from around the world, have appeared at La Scala. We enjoyed the German opera «Der Freischütz» by Carl Maria von Weber. Being considered the first important German Romantic opera, especially in its national identity and stark emotionality, it was a true pleasure to see it in our mother tongue surrounded by the stunning ambiance of La Scala.
My look: Ruffle-trimmed single-breasted wool coat, ruffle bow dress, embellished leather pumps, and Sylvie mini buckle leather shoulder bag, all by Gucci. Choker with evil eye symbol by Chanel, diamond rose ring and Limelight Gala watch, both by Piaget.
My scent: Gucci Bloom Eau de Parfum, which is the first fragrance developed wholly under Alessandro Michele’s creative vision and blended by master perfumer Alberto Morillas. The beautiful powdery floral scent features tuberose and jasmine combined with rangoon creeper, also called Chinese honeysuckle, which is a unique flower discovered in South India that is being used for the first time in perfumery to create a rich fragrance that transports its wearer to an imaginary garden.

A big thank you to my daughter for taking them!
I love the piano, it’s my favorite instrument. This season the piano keyboard has inspired many designers. Listening to a piano concert or even better playing yourself in this look is the ultimate fashion goal.
Get the look: Ruffled silk-georgette top by Elie Saab, pleated jacquard-knit skirt by Proenza Schouler, Dolce Box piano tote and embellished leather pumps, both by Dolce & Gabbana.
If you are thinking about getting a piano, have a look at my favorite one which is said to be the best one in the world: the MODEL D by STEINWAY & SONS. For over 160 years, the company has been dedicated to the art of piano making, setting the uncompromising standard for sound, touch, beauty, and investment value.
Do you want to be my play date?
LoL, Sandra
