I am in Gordes with Tom Ford Beauty and actually supposed to visit the beautiful lavender fields. Unfortunately, I am down with a stomach flu and have to stay in my hotel room. Therefore is today’s post dedicated to a beautiful rose garden where I shot this stunning dress with its unexpected back before. I hope you will enjoy it.

The retro one-piece swimsuit feels so right again. Better than ever, those new offerings are really fun, and could double as bodysuits. You can style them with pants or tailored jackets to the office or with hot pants to the next festival.

In the end, they will accompany us through the summer, reminding us of beaches we’ve lain on, and boats we’ve jumped off. Enjoy and channel your own Baywatch moment.

On Thursday evening, the Houses of CHANEL, FENDI (LVMH) and KARL LAGERFELD all came together at the Grand Palais in Paris to pay tribute to Karl Lagerfeld at a celebration designed, directed and staged by Robert Carsen.

The many facets of this extraordinary man were evoked through a tapestry of videos filmed throughout his life, interspersed with testimonials from people who knew him, as well as the generous «live» contributions of highly talented actors, musicians, dancers who interpreted some of the music and literature Karl loved so much.

Charlotte Casiraghi, H.R.H. Princess of Hanover, Andrea Casiraghi and Madame Emmanuel Macron paying tribute to Karl Lagerfeld.

Actresses Tilda Swinton, Fanny Ardant, Cara Delevingne and Helen Mirren, friends of Karl Lagerfeld, recited and read excerpts from works by his favourite authors, such as Virginia Woolf, Stéphane Mallarmé, Colette and Edith Sitwell.

The extraordinary Jookin dancer Lil Buck, the brilliant violinist Charlie Siem (who played Paganini, one of the favourite composers of Karl Lagerfeld’s mother Elizabeth), Argentinian choreographer German Cornejo, accompanied by his troupe of 17 tango dancers and his 7-piece orchestra from Buenos Aires (Carlos Gardel was Karl Lagerfeld’s favourite singer and the tango was his favourite dance), the celebrated pianist Lang Lang (who played Chopin on the grand piano designed by Karl Lagerfeld for the 150th anniversary of Steinway), and American artist Pharrell Williams were also on stage to pay homage to the man who had deeply marked them and who was their friend.

These artists – as well as the 2,500 guests present at the Grand Palais to celebrate Karl Lagerfeld – were immersed in a spectacular exhibition of 56 giant enlargements of portraits taken throughout his life by some of the most famous photographers in a setting designed by Robert Carsen, inspired by Karl’s favourite colours: black and white enhanced with a touch of red.

In turn, the participants also paid tribute to the aesthete, this man of culture, photographer, creator… in an exceptional moment as grand as his talent.

On Fendi’s S/S 2019 runway, there was quite a variety of military-inspired bags. All coming with several pockets to help you stay organized. My favorite style is this cross-body version below that is crafted from smooth leather with three compartments – one designed for a phone and another labelled ‘Secrets’ in gold hot-stamped lettering (how cute is this?!) – then set on a slender adjustable strap that’s completed with gold-tone metal hardware. Utilitarian style at its best. There are two things I love most, fashion and travelling. When they are combined, it is heaven. Here you see me at the Bayerischer Hof in Munich inside the Gottschalk Suite 672 that gives a glimpse into the mind of German entertainer Thomas Gottschalk. Reserved for him at all times, the suite can also be booked by other hotel guests on request, enabling them to plunge into a design world like no other. With a stylish mix of private pieces, elegant materials and designer furnishings, you indulge into a truly unique urban rock ’n’ roll loft atmosphere.

Finally, the weather in Gstaad got colder and I saw the drops of snow falling, so it was time to cuddle up on top of the mountain in this warm, winter wonderland inspired, layered outfit.

My look: Floral oversized down jacket by Balenciaga, reversible intarsia wool-blend and jacquard jacket by Etro, wool turtleneck bodysuit by Alaïa, printed low-rise skinny jeans by Givenchy, embroidered brocade drawstring backpack and studded wool-silk shawl, both by Gucci, Croco Tail sunglasses by Fendi, and black fur snow boots by Prada Linea Rossa.

In my opinion, mixing and matching is crucial to a fashionable look. One night at the Gstaad Palace, I went for acid yellow, leopard print and check – all in one! I hope you like it as much as I do.

Today’s world offers so many chances for everyone. What seemed unbridgeable before, such as sportswear and evening attire, high and low fashion or even good or bad taste, has fully merged. People have the chance to show and spread their talents via social media.

Hey Reilly’s illustrations of Lagerfeld and Venturini Fendi are on display in Fendi’s store windows.

Here is a lucky punch that just took place in the world of fashion. One of the most hyped collaborations started with a direct message on Instagram when Silvia Venturini Fendi, the house’s creative director of accessories, menswear, and kids, first spotted @hey_reilly’s Fendi + Fila logo on the Instagram artist’s feed in February last year.

The Scottish creative is known for his tongue-in-cheek monikers. Together with Karl Lagerfeld, who designs Fendi’s womenswear line, Silvia took logomania to this new and exciting form this season. The mashup of Fendi and Fila’s iconic typefaces, a truly viral design, was teased at the F/W 2018 runway show and is now at the core of the Resort 2019 capsule collection.
