To celebrate the 80th anniversary of its iconic aluminum suitcase, RIMOWA unveiled an exclusive collaboration with FENDI in the end of last year.
Together, the two brands created transformed the iconic carry-on case with the help of sophisticated FENDI styling details, including the emblematic FENDI double F logo in brushed aluminum that changes perspective in different lighting, as well as a web belt that runs across the case, into something every fashionista is dying to travel with. The case is finished with stickers and a nametag that can be personalised by its owner.
In the second phase of a collaboration this year, the collection adds three new colours; red, blue and yellow – an addition to the black and brown version that was originally introduced in November 2017.
For all models, FENDI’s artisanal savoir-faire is featured in Cuoio Romano leather handles and the black neoprene interior lining, also embossed with the double F logo. The case is a concentrate of RIMOWA innovations too, fitted with the silent Multiwheel® system for optimum maneuverability and the Flex-Divider system for the most efficient possible packing, as well as TSA approved locks for security.
Available in FENDI and RIMOWA stores and online HERE.

Jacquemus named his S/S 2018 collection La Bomba that was inspired by French island girls from Corsica, Martinique or from the Caribbean. My favorites on the runway were his oversized straw hats (for a previous post about this trend, click here please) that epitomize summer perfectly. Nothing adds more glamour to your beach look than a gigantic straw hat.
My look: Oversized straw hat «La Bomba» by Jacquemus, Nescea feather bikini top and matching Brasiliana feather slip, both by L’Edoné, leather platform sandals by Saint Laurent, Ruota Carretto gold-plated tasseled clip earrings and printed basket bag, both by Dolce & Gabbana, gunmetal lurex Caro bracelet and personalized black lurex Caro bracelet, both by Carolina Bucci, and sunglasses by Fendi.

With the athleisure trend dominating off-duty style, I am always looking for ways to rock the sporty gear for work, too. Track pants are officially one of the biggest fashion hypes of the moment, with many designers willing to take them from the gym to the streets. I opted for green stirrup trousers since it’s unapologetically one of the most eye-catching colors.
1 Striped silk crepe de chine track pants by Fendi
2 Striped satin-jersey track pants by Palm Angels
3 Logo-print cotton track pants by MSGM
4 Contrast-piping jersey track pants by REDValentino
5 Striped tech-jersey stirrup leggings by Gucci
6 Fuseau stirrup trousers by Balenciaga (the ones I couldn’t resist)
Enjoy your Easter weekend!

The S/S 2018 runway of Marc Jacobs was full of turbans (see above right). When I spotted Adwoa Aboah wearing one of those fabulous pieces together with a Marc Jacobs dress and diamond earrings by Indian jewellers Bhagat, I knew this will be trending more than ever.

Photographed by Steven Meisel and styled by Edward Enninful for his first VOGUE UK cover, the model shows the new era of glamour, as easy as it sounds turbans feel right again.
Most stylish and timeless women sporting turbans:
Greta Garbo, Joan Crawford, Lana Turner, Sophia Loren and Bianca Jagger.
Embracing the sophistication associated with Hollywood glamour of the 1920s and ’30s, when women like Greta Garbo, Gloria Swanson and Joan Crawford wore them, followed by Lana Turner in the ’40s to Sophia Loren in the ’60s to Bianca Jagger in the ’70s at the London Palladium, turbans breathe the ultimate glamour. They are a fashion piece. But wearing it demands confidence – you have to believe in your look.
Here is a selection of fabulous turbans available at the moment (just click on the highlighted text to be transfered directly to the online shop). Plump for Gucci’s disco-fabulous red leather drapery if you dare, or adopt Missoni’s insta-ready zig-zag outfit enhancer. They will all steal the show:
1 Ribbed wool turban by Fendi
2 Rosette silk turban by Jennifer Behr
3 Spot-print stretch turban by Adriana Degreas
4 Twisted-front leather turban by Gucci
5 Printed silk turban by Valentino
6 Printed silk-twill turban by Valentino
7 Striped fan turban by Norma Kamali
8 Metallic crochet-knit turban by Missoni

The «ugly-chic» footwear aka pool slide trend is major this S/S 2018 season. I have to admit that I haven’t arrived there yet… I mean I am talking about the plastic slip-ons first made popular by Adidas (in German we called them «Adiletten» and they were a no-go) that are now popular like hell. This season almost every designer has given them an upgrade from embellishments to crystals, from mink to feathers, just get your wallet ready!

It’s all over town. I have enough of winter and cannot wait for the warm season to come… just a few more month to go during which I have to indulge in memories of days spent in the South of France. Here you see me on the rooftop bar of the Hotel de Paris in St. Tropez during the Asmallworld weekend … heaven on earth.

I love going to press previews for beauty products as it is always fun to explore the newest innovations before their official launch date. Here you see me in December at the Shiseido press day hosted at Zurich’s Sihlcity in a loft dominated by urban concrete walls, which was allowing the colorful product packaging to take center stage. If you are wondering, Nars, Azzedine Alaïa, Issey Miyake, Narciso Rodriguez, all belong to the Shiseido Group and I am looking forward to sharing those new must-haves with you during the coming weeks.
Just as much as I enjoy discovering new beauty products, I adore spotting new fashion designers. One that I truly enjoy wearing is London-based designer Mira Mikati who began her fashion career as co-founder of concept store Plum. Her eponymous collection was born of a collaboration with Parisian brand Façonnable and a desire to create «something fun that was also beautifully tailored». Her jackets, pants and sweatshirts are emblazoned with emojis, cartoons and playful graphics. I absolutely love her frenzied innocence that shows in a melange of smile-inducing detailing. You have no idea how many compliments I got that day for my outfit!
My look: Rainbow Wave striped faux fur coat, lace-up grosgrain-trimmed merino wool sweater and sequined silk pants, all by Mira Mikati, Kan I Mini studded leather chain shoulder bag, striped silk-twill and leather bag strap, rainbow colored bag bug pompom and bag bug «Karlito», all by Fendi, embroidered «Fusion» sneakers by Dior.
Saving the best for last: what a surprise for me to be reunited with my beloved Montasar Dumas who works for Shiseido in Paris (my avid readers might recognize him from his days at Dior when we always had a lot of fun together).

Today, I am flying back from an amazing trip through Yucatán. For the past two weeks, I tried to stay away as much as I could from social media and other work related distractions to recharge my batteries fully. Here you see me at Wasserngrat Restaurant during the ASW Winter Weekend in Gstaad in December. I cannot imagine that I have to get back to winter clothes in a few hours… but I have to admit they look nice as well.
My look: Ski overall with fur embellishments, fur snow boots, and gloves, all by Prada, fur stole by Fendi, Boy bag with chains by Chanel, embroidered sweater by Gucci.
LoL, Sandra
