Here is the detailed post regarding my outfit that I wore on Thursday night for the Fashion’s Night Out in Zurich.

My look: Fur vest and my new beloved Noé BB bag in yellow Epi leather by Louis Vuitton, stretch-leather skinny pants by Gucci, white silk shirt and suede ankle boots, both by Saint Laurent, waffle knit cardigan by Chloé and earrings by Dolce & Gabbana.

This week was my “German” week. On Tuesday, I went to Hamburg to finalize an amazing project for Sandra’s Closet’s upcoming third birthday and then I drove to Frankfurt, which is my place of origin. I was born and raised in the picturesque Taunus, a part of the Central German Uplands, located at the gates of Frankfurt. I love the Hessian mentality and have to admit that I haven’t spent a lot of time here recently but whenever I am back, I feel at home.

I am staying at the beautiful Schlosshotel Kronberg, a five-star luxury castle hotel, that is owned by the Landgrave and Princes von Hessen. It offers you living history to touch and feel. Exclusive furnishings and an impressive collection of antiques and paintings from the private estate of the mother of the last Kaiser convey the authentic ambience of a castle from imperial times and makes me feel like a little princess.

Yesterday, I took a trip down memory lane and showed my daughter the school I went to: St. Angela Schule in Königstein, a private all-girls school, attached to an Ursuline convent. Personally speaking, I loved this mono education and truly enjoyed my time there. Until today, I am close to my five best friends from school. When I saw the pillar we decorated for our graduation, I was so touched that the tears kept rolling down my cheeks.

This morning, another event has touched me deeply: Sandra’s Closet reached over 50.000 likes on Facebook overnight, which means 10.000 likes in 2 months. This is so amazing and I would like to take the opportunity to thank you all for following my blog that has taken me on such a beautiful adventure. I feel very blessed!

I always love spotting the newest cruise collections because in general, those include the most wearable pieces of the season. In the case of Louis Vuitton Cruise 2013, the colours are absolutely striking. My favourite piece: The fur vest in purple and brown, this combination is to die for! Following the F/W 2012 trend, overlays are kept, like putting on pants, blouses or dresses. See for yourself! The collection will be in stores in December 2012.

Here it is look N°2 from LuisaViaRoma’s Firenze4Ever Total Styling Lab, so-called “Venus in Fur”. Some might not be so delighted about winter’s must-have, but fur was one of the trend materials on the runways. A fur vest is a great investment piece, very versatile to wear.

The `60s inspired dress by Giambattista Valli has a fun detail. The attached cape can be worn as a hood. I especially like the neon-coloured little waist band.

Céline’ s box bag has definitely become a classic. For this outfit, I chose the leopard print version which I find very chic. To shop the look, just click on the highlighted text:

My dear readers, I still owe you all those photos from the LuisaViaRoma Firenze4Ever 3rd Edition Total Styling Lab with all the fab pieces from the upcoming F/W 2011 season.

Here is my first look I called „Feather Girl“ because of those amazing shoes, aren’t they divine? It is always a great investment to get a pair of statement shoes as they will make every outfit something special. The Bayswater Mulberry bag has also a beautiful feather print on the leather.

If you don’t have a vest yet, I truly recommend getting one, preferably with some fur embellishments. It is a must this winter! 
And last but not least the jumpsuit is definitely back! I know that it can be quite unpractical, you know what I mean… but nevertheless it is such a stylish piece of clothes that you should absolutely consider.

Today, it was a more relaxing day, recovering from last night. I went on a little shopping tour around the city in my galaxy-print dress by Christopher Kane combined with my fur vest by Miu Miu, grey gauntlets by Stella McCartney and studded biker boots by Miu Miu. Scarf by Gucci, bag by Balmain. Below you will find just a few impressions from my walk…

Now I am at the hotel getting some rest for the big party tonight.

The new cruise 2011 pieces are arriving in stores and some work perfectly for the winter season. Wish upon a star with Christopher Kane’s galactic space print.
The combination with leather is utterly unique and turns on immediately your star factor.
I wore the dress last night with a cropped jacket by Alexander Wang and a fur vest by Miu Miu. Add some overknee boots for total evening cool and finish off your look with some killer jewelry.

The Louis Vuitton pre-fall 2010 collection will be in stores in the end of next week, around June 5th. The inspiration behind the mid-season designs was the idea to find a cowweb-covered heritage trunk filled with grandma`s goodies and to play dress-up with everything you find.

I love that mixture of attic chic and luxe collegiate. The tweed skirtsuits with a 60`s silhouette worn with cashmere lace socks are to-die-for.

I am also crazy for the fox fur vest, my personal object of desire!

It would not be Louis Vuitton, if there was not a must-have bag topping the collection off. This time it is the Monogram Aviator bag that will come in three different colours navy, bordeaux and khaki, all with a bright fluorescent orange lining. Like always the bags will be very limited, at approximately CHF 3400.-.

I wished my Granny had a similiar treasure chest hidden somewhere and I would find it before the moths! As this is very unlikely, probably better to go the Vuitton way…
