It was a busy day in Paris when I was shooting the social media campaign for the new Piaget Possession collection right along Jessica Chastain. I stayed at the beautiful Le Meurice hotel where we took some of the photos before leaving for the cocktail reception at the Piaget boutique at Place Vendôme, followed by an amazing dinner at Le Jules Verne restaurant on the 2nd level of the famed Tour Eiffel which I can only recommend. You enjoy the best of contemporary French cuisine along with the most spectacular view of the City of Lights, scintillating beneath your feet.

My look: Jacquard mini dress with pleated skirt and lace-up stretch-jersey bodysuit in black, both by Givenchy, multicolored patchwork bag and pearl embellished sunglasses, both by Chanel, college coat and Janis suede platform pumps, both by Saint Laurent, Limelight Gala watch and Possession ring, both by Piaget, Hapi leather bracelet by Hermès.

Amsterdam has so much more to offer than its famous Red Light District. With over one million residents, it’s the largest city in the Netherlands and a creative, cultural hub. The Stedelijk Museum for example is absolutely worth a visit with its great exhibition of modern and contemporary art as well as design from the early 20th century up to the 21st century. It features artists such as Vincent van Gogh, Wassily Kandinsky, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Marc Chagall, Henri Matisse, Jackson Pollock, Karel Appel, Andy Warhol, Willem de Kooning, Marlene Dumas, Lucio Fontana, and Gilbert & George.

The Stedelijk is located at the Museum Square in the borough Amsterdam South, where it is close to the Van Gogh Museum, the Rijksmuseum, and the Royal Concertgebouw, that are all must-sees when being in the Dutch metropole.

Recently on my way to St. Tropez, I spent one night at the beautiful Hotel Giardino in Ascona. The sun was shining and I truly enjoyed this short stay while sporting my new Chanel Girl bag for the first time.

My look: Smocked cotton-poplin dress by Givenchy, printed leather, raffia and canvas wedge sandals by Valentino, Girl bag in multicolored tweed and necklace «Blow in case of fashion emergency», both by Chanel.

The Met Gala is an annual fundraising event for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art‘s Costume Institute in New York City and marks the grand opening of its annual fashion exhibit. Celebrating this year’s theme “China, Through The Looking Glass”, it seems to be one of the most challenging yet. As you know, I spent last week in Los Angeles. Nice weather and sunshine most of the time. Friday I left to Moscow, which literally meant a 40°C difference in temperature and 11 hours in time, but those facts didn’t stop me from having a great weekend in the Russian city. Here you see me at the Red Square on Saturday. It was my first time back after 30 years.

Sporting this Dolce & Gabbana top on a  snowy day in the mountains, I felt like Little Red Riding Hood in a Gstaad Fairytale. Called “Once upon a time… in Sicily” designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana created a whimsical F/W 2014 collection with a very fashionable flair. Who doesn’t like to feel like a fairy once in a while?

Here you see an outfit post combining different F/W 2014 trends. Feathers have been everywhere this winter season, they are the perfect way to give your dressing a voluminous effect. Maybe every season polka dots are considered a trend, but they are definitely one of the must-haves for the upcoming S/S 2015 season. So Valentino’s overly cute and stylish version is a great investment to be carried into the next summer. Wear it well!

Last Friday, my friend’s extremely fun birthday party took place in Zurich. The invite said: Oh Deer! Just another birthday… and the theme was «Alpine Chic». As I was already thanks to the Chanel Métiers d’Art show in Salzburg (detailed post coming up soon) in a mountain style mood, I went for this outfit.
