Optical Glasses

No matter if you need them or not, wearing glasses will give you a polished, distinguished and different look. Regardless of your outfit, glasses can help you enhance your unique style and improve how people perceive you in the process. Almost all psychologists agree that glasses-wearers look more qualified and trustworthy. I got myself a pair of glasses that filter out the blue light spectrum to cut down on digital eye strain, which was a great decision.

Below are some optical designer frames I truly like. Make them a statement! It is a little investment for a great output. The attention will be all yours…

Happy Friday 13th – I keep on packing!

My Look: Thousand in One Ways Sweater

In January I told you about this must-have sweater for fall the first time (click here for the previous post). Rosie Assoulin‘s «Thousand In One Ways» sweater is named for its seemingly endless styling options – the sleeves can be shrugged off your shoulders, knotted neatly around your waist or detached completely, which turns it into a cropped camisole. It’s been cable-knitted in Italy from a luxuriously soft blend of wool and cotton and has a relaxed fit.

Trending: White Boots

A total ’90s must-have, white boots are officially again a wardrobe fixture – now’s the time to shop the new-season favorites.

There are few shoes more versatile than a white boot, a style which can truly be worn all year round, whatever is happening with the weather. In spring, they can be teamed with your floaty floral dresses, while they add a soft touch to denim ensembles in the fall – and look great paired with workwear and even black leggings.

My Look: Wifey for Lifey

Reminiscent of a young Bianca Jagger who has become so well known for the iconic achromatic look, a classic white suit is a smart pick for a minimalist bride who’s less interested in a full-length gown or a great alternative to a costume for the civil wedding. White pant suits had been allover the S/S 2020 runways and can be worn after your big day to many occasions.

My look: Appliquéd crepe blazer, matching appliquéd crepe wide-leg pantsicon, silk crepe de chine shirt, and Aurora rabbit-felt fedora haticon, all by GucciTeddy patent-leather pumpsicon by Saint Laurent, and Wifey for Life clutch by Sophia Webster.

For those wondering, due to the current pandemic, my wedding date is not yet set, the venue is not yet booked, but we know where we will do it, but now it’s definitely time to decide what to wear on the big day which is actually the most fun for me! I think I will have to change a few times… there are so many beautiful choices.

Designer Tights

What makes this season’s vibrant hosiery so interesting is that those bold stockings are being paired with relatively straightforward clothes. Update a simple sweater and miniskirt with blue tights or elevate your evening dress with sexy lace hosiery. Those Balenciaga logo tights might look extreme at first pass, but under a trench coat they read almost normal. If we’ve learned anything from the trends this season, it’s that being just left of center feels so right and designer tights seem so much more tempting…

My Look: Traditional

Today, Munich’s Oktoberfest would be kicking off, but unfortunately it was cancelled due to the current pandemic. Personally speaking, visiting the world’s biggest beer festival in my old hometown always marked the beginning of fall for me. I absolutely love wearing those fabulous traditional clothes. Therefore today’s post is dedicated to a loden-style designer look and I truly hope you will like it.

My look: Tyrolean loden jacket, matching loden shorts, and bow-top felted cap, all by Miu Miu, bustier corset top with bows by Dolce & Gabbana, embellished leather pumpsicon by Gucciblack and white grained leather bag with gold-tone metal details by CHANEL, and velvet and gold-tone multi-stone choker by Etro.
