Gucci presents new Horsebit jewelry and watches, as part of the 70th anniversary celebrations of this iconic emblem. Bold designs feature classic Horsebit motifs intertwined with minimalist links to create striking geometric chains with seamlessly integrated closures.
First conceived by Aldo Gucci as a loafer embellishment in 1953, the Horsebit reflects the House’s historical links with the equestrian world. A stylized version in miniature of the double ring and bar metal clamp in a horse’s bridle, it has been a signature symbol for Gucci ever since. As a signifier of the community embodied by the House, it has been interpreted over seven decades in hardware and motifs across accessories, jewelry and ready-to-wear.
In this occasion, the House presents several new jewelry pieces, entirely crafted in yellow gold, including a ring, a necklace and two bracelets – one single row and one double row. The contemporary chain design alternates the classical Horsebit signature with a more minimalist pattern, creating a captivating contrast.
A necklace and two bracelets in single and three-row designs, with diamond baguettes and vivid green enamel embellishment, complete the collection. Two new watches also highlight the iconic Horsebit. One has a delicate double row chain with a multifaceted lozenge case; the other has a bolder, three-row chain. Both designs feature a yellow gold case, bracelet and a golden-colored brushed dial.

Royal Ascot is almost as famous for its fashion as it is for racing. Needless to say, I had so much fun dressing up for it. The dress code for the Royal Enclosure is quite strict, women are required to wear a modest dress and a hat with a base no smaller than four inches (10cm).
As I had to pack the hat in my hand luggage, I went for this one that fit perfectly in my little suitcase. The horsebit print of the dress was a nod to the races. I hope that you will like this outfit as much as I do. For the post about my day at Royal Ascot, click here please.

Pastel colors are always beautiful to wear. I love combining two shades. Soft pink in combination with baby blue is very common, but partnering the feminine shade with mint green is a new take. On board of Christina O I wore this look for our first dinner.

Gucci announces the reopening of its newly renovated boutique in Saint-Tropez. Located at 72, rue François Sibilli, between the port and the place des Lices, the space spans over 200 square meters across two floors and carries a wide array of pieces comprising ready-to-wear and accessories for both men and women. Guests are welcomed to discover the House’s signature handbags lines including the Jackie 1961, the Bamboo 1947 and the Horsebit 1955 along with a curated selection of precious jewelry pieces. In addition, the boutique showcases items from the Gucci Valigeria collection envisioned for the perfect get-away.
Situated in a classic Saint-Tropez house characterized by the typical green shutters that define the surrounding landscape, the boutique is crowned by a private garden designed around an old well providing guests with a space to relax, enjoy the greenery and immerse themselves in the beautiful atmosphere of the French Riviera.
The design of the interiors complements the outdoors evoking the unique beauty of the Cote D’Azur through light-toned hues and the implementation of local materials and finishes. Natural oak panels found across walls harmoniously complement woven rattan finishes in a nod to local craftmanship traditions.
Envisioned to make guests feel at home, the store is framed with newly designed racks inspired by classic brass designs associated with drawers reminiscent of hard sided trunks inspired by the House’s luggage offer. Carpets and curtains match the boutique’s sophisticated palette evoking the light-hearted spirit of warm summer days. As promised here is the outfit that I wore to the first evening with ASMALLWORLD in Saint Tropez. I have always been in love with Pucci‘s mood-boosting vibrant prints. This one for example is inspired by the label’s archival ‘Maddalena‘ motif that dates back to the ’60s. The same time the tiny village of Saint Tropez rose to fame thanks to Roger Vadim‘s movie «And God created woman», starring French actress Brigitte Bardot.
