Today, I went last minute Christmas shopping. For the first time in my life, I haven’t been prepared for the festive season at all. I haven’t even written one single Holiday card. (Apologies here to all who have been expecting one). The last weeks had just been so filled with projects that everything else got delayed.
Nevertheless, Sunday shopping before Christmas Eve is pure torture, especially the food department was all about panic buying. Flat shoes and comfy clothes were essential.
My look: Coat and grey washed leather Soft Stirrup, both by Gucci, loose-fit cotton-jersey top by James Perse, Renard woven-striped leather skirt
by Rag & Bone, sequined Monogram wool scarf and hat, both by Louis Vuitton (a gift from my recent trip to Gstaad with Louis Vuitton, more to be posted soon) and ruffled leather ankle boots by Valentino.

The November 2012 issue of German Myself Magazine featured one page of my personal online shopping must-haves and gave me the possibility to be in charge of the layout.
Above you can see what I came up with. It is such an amazing feeling to spot it printed in the magazine on one whole page!

As an avid reader of Sandra’s Closet, you might recognize some of the pieces. Below, you can click on the tiny photos to be transferred directly to the outfit posts in which I am wearing them. There you can also find all information where to buy them.
Have a lovely day!

For the third night of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Days Zurich, I wore this look:
Diamanté-embellished silk top
by Moschino Cheap and Chic, stretch-leather skinny pants
by Gucci, orange leather biker jacket by Balenciaga, bi-colour glittering ankle boots by Chanel, Elsie bag by Chloé, cuff by Stella McCartney, Lady Excalibur watch by Roger Dubuis and earrings by Dolce & Gabbana.
Below are more photos taken in our underground garage before. Hope that you will like them!

Here is the fourth look of the shoot for Swiss News magazine:
Strapless dress with peplum and dragonfly belt, soft Stirrup black brocade leather clutch, Noah high heel cut-out pumps, all three by Gucci, long mesh gloves
by Jil Sander, earrings and cocktail ring, both by Chanel.
I truly like the peplum trend for F/W 2012. It is such a feminine and flattering detail.

As promised, I will show you during the next days more photos of the outfits that I wore for the shoot with Swiss News magazine.
My first look: Camel hair blazer, silk blouse, wool-crepe wide-leg pants, all three by Gucci, tapestry ankle boots by Dolce & Gabbana and Kelly So Black by Hermès.
I am completely in love with the colour combination of red and beige. And aren’t those wide-leg pants just absolutely fabulous?!

Finally Zurich has its own Rolex store operated by Bucherer, the Lucerne-based watch and jewelry specialist founded in 1888. The new shop is located at the prestigious Bahnhofstrasse close to the Paradeplatz with 130 m² dedicated to everything beautiful the most popular fine watch brand in the world has to offer. As one of the guests put it: “You can never go wrong with a Rolex under the Christmas tree.” I think most of us would agree with that.
My look at the opening party: Printed stretch-silk mini dress, Miss Sicily wool tapestry and leather tote
(Farfetch offers free global shipping from December 3-19, 2012), both by Dolce & Gabbana. Fur coat by Gucci, red boots by Prada and pearl necklace by Chanel, all from previous seasons.
LoL, Sandra

On Sunday, I flew to Athens, Greece. I was invited by Hermès to a secret location for the launch of an amazing new product. After a three hours ride by car, I arrived in Delphi, which was in Greek mythology the site of the famous Delphic oracle. Enough said, unfortunately I am not allowed to tell you more until February 2013. And believe me, this is hard for me, too.
In the meantime enjoy my look that I wore on the arrival day:
Oversized Rottweiler print tank top and wool gauze Rottweiler scarf, both by Givenchy (Please click here for the previous post when I told you all about this fashion hype), black long cardigan by Gucci, stretch cashmere-blend leggings
by Donna Karan and brushed-leather biker boots
by Miu Miu.
Stay tuned for more to come up soon…
LoL, Sandra

This was my look for the amazing Caviar & Oyster Collection Dinner with Bobbi Brown:
Black dress with angel wing sleeves by Stella McCartney, Soft Stirrup black brocade leather clutch, Noah high heel cut-out pump, both by Gucci, bangle, goldfish cuff and cocktail ring, all three by Roberto Cavalli, earrings by Chanel.

Of course, I created my make-up with the beautiful new products by Bobbi Brown:
I used the Caviar & Oyster Palette (CHF 120.-) for the eyes (I blended all eight shades and dabbed Ballet Sparkle with my fingertip), then I applied the Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner (CHF 33.-) in Black Ink with the Smokey Eye Liner Brush (CHF 43.-) and smudged it with the Long-Wear Eye Pencil (CHF 33.-) in Jet. To finish off the smokey look, I layered the new limited edition Dual-Ended Mascara (CHF 33.-) in Black.
On my lips I wore Brightening Lip Gloss (CHF 35.-) in Moonlight Pearl and on my cheeks Blush (CHF 41.-) in Pretty Pink.
