I am not a fan of those typical costumes for Halloween, poorly produced, made out of horrible materials, they create waste and are bad for the environment. Luckily, many Halloween costumes can be easily created just from the clothes in your closet and common household items.
Think of one of your favorite iconic movie characters and dress like them. If you have a lot of pink in your closet, then you can probably pull off an Elle Woods or become a Barbie girl (think of the latest Valentino Pink PP collection). Or be a «Queen of Hearts». Put on a long preferably red dress and find your household deck of cards for this easy DIY costume. Just attach some cards with safety pins and off you go. The easiest way is to play with make-up and accessories such as a pair of funky boots and stockings, top it off with a little flour in your hair to make it wiry and wild, and carry around your kitchen broom or your Dyson.
Personally speaking, I always put together costumes with pieces from my own closet. However, I know that my wardrobe is huge and I have many items that scream «dress up» already. Here some of my designer outfits that would be perfect for Halloween! Moschino, Dolce & Gabbana along with Prada are the brands that offer the easiest take on fashion with humor. Looking for some Halloween make-up inspiration? Here you go! Bella Hadid reveals her mischievous side for DIOR MAKE-UP with ROUGE DIOR for HALLOWEEN. A spellbinding look in tribute to the most emblematic House of DIOR colour.
Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for DIOR MAKE-UP, audaciously celebrates red, the «colour of life» according to Mr. Christian Dior and creates a captivating make-up look that is both chic and enigmatic, that works for Halloween and for daily life.
With ardent lips dressed in striking red, glittering eyelids heightened with elegant eyeliner, and a velvet complexion sporting a vivid blush, Bella is transformed into a mesmerizing femme fatale. The Hitchcockian tension between her and the young man Ludwig Wildsdorff is captured by photographer Richard Burbridge.
Jeremy Scott presented the MOSCHINO Cruise 2020 collection in Los Angeles in June. The show was filled with trip-down-memory-lane nostalgia, held at Universal Studios, along the same set that served as Wisteria Lane on Desperate Housewives. Models became trick-or-treaters in a foggy twilight. Every look was literally screaming with humor and modernity: Are you ready for Halloween?
Personally speaking, I am not a fun of typical costumes, as I hate wearing badly sewn polyester stuff. I always try to get designer pieces that serve the purpose. Therefore I will get ready with MOSCHINO for the spookiest night of the year.

One thing I believe in is that the right lipstick gives you more power. Pumpkin-inspired hues are the color palette for Halloween and are perfect for transitioning into fall as they help tired faces to look more vibrant. Incorporating a fresh contrast to every fall look, try to make your pout take center stage.

Today is Halloween. Have you ever asked yourself why people are wearing costumes that day? The reason is that celts dressed up in white with blackened faces during the festival of Samhain to trick the evil spirits that they believed would be roaming the earth before All Saints’ Day on November 1st.
I like the idea of tricking the evil spirits, probably this Peekaboo medium crocodile-trimmed leather and python toteby Fendi would help! I am totally in love, so please don’t make me get my wand, this fashion must-have is all I need.
