Greetings from Montreux where fashion meets art at the lake. Ken Price (1935 – 2012) was a Californian artist, born and raised in Los Angeles, whose esoteric style defied categorization. Calling on eclectic influences from Mexican folk art to erotica and surf culture, his output included vibrant landscapes that have become the focus of Loewe’s capsule collection – a selection of limited edition ready-to-wear, iconic bags and accessories.
When Price died in 2012, his obituaries universally acknowledged the scale of his impact on modern and contemporary art. The New York Times described him as «one of the outstanding artists of postwar America», while the Washington Post noted his role in «expanding orthodox definitions of American and European sculpture.»
My look: Cropped asymmetric denim jacket, and Tread Slick canvas and rubber exaggerated-sole ankle boots, both by Alexander McQueen, printed cotton hoodie, and matching small La Palme Heel bag, both by Loewe x Ken Price, track pants in salmon by Moschino, wide bow hair clip by Jennifer Behr, and crystal-embellished sunglasses by Gucci.

Dream more and make it happen. For me, anything is possible if I dress accordingly. The right outfit can make me feel confident, comfortable, and ready to conquer the world. It’s like wearing my personality or the attitude I would like to express on the outside.
Wearing a suit and a tie, combined with a pair of glasses can convey a sense of professionalism, confidence and sophistication. And can you see … modern angels are wearing their wings on their heels.
My look: Antiope double-breasted wool-blend blazer, Dovere wool-blend shirt, Ondina wool-blend shorts, and Giulia wool-blend tie, all by Max Mara, wide bow hair clip by Jennifer Behr, glasses by Tom Ford, Tribale earrings by Dior, logo tights by CHANEL, Pégasus heels by Hermès, Da Vinci laptop bag by Louis Vuitton x Jeff Koons Masters Collection.

Don’t shampoo this summer, because headwraps will salvage dirty hair days more than just any other trending accessory. On top, they are the perfect tool to absorb sweat during these hot temperatures. While being in Saint Tropez, they are my on-the-go item when I don’t have time to fix my hair after the beach. Put it on and it’s literally a wrap.
A-listers like Beyoncé, Chrissy Teigen, and Sarah Jessica Parker love them and even that they have never truly left, they’re now on-trend. While you may think headwraps are a daring accessory, wearing one is easier than you might think – and in the end, how you wear it will depend on your own personal style. Headwraps are a versatile garment, pairing well everything from your favourite jeans or leather jacket, to skirts and sneakers. Below is my selection of the best ones available at the moment.

Trend forecasters placed their bets on a return of the Roaring Twenties, but while the flapper dresses have just materialized on the F/W 2022 catwalk, Paco Rabanne, Louis Vuitton, and Maison Margiela did deliver glittering headpieces worthy of Josephine Baker already this summer.
Get ahead of the fashion game and shop one of those beauties that will transform any outfit in seconds into something ultra glam and different. Even a pair of jeans and a white tank will look gorgeous with this Area piece for example below.

The Newbury Boston is one of my favorite hotels worldwide, a historic landmark in Boston, Massachusetts, originally opened in 1927 as The Ritz-Carlton Hotel at that time. The property anchors fashionable Newbury Street and the picturesque Boston Public Garden, located in the heart of the Back Bay. It is also home to Contessa, Boston’s most sought after dining experience and definitely the most trending hot spot. After a complete refurbishment under the creative vision of renowned designers Ken Fulk, Jeffrey Beers, and Alexandra Champalimaud and being renamed The Newbury Boston, it opened its doors again in May 2021.
Its slogan «a well-crafted life» fits its service and the beautifully decorated rooms perfectly. Here you see me in my corner suite with its stunning views, reading the iconic Bostonian children’s book «Make Way for Ducklings» by Robert McCloskey.
My look: Glitter jumpsuit, pearl necklace and flap bag with top handle in iridescent grained calfskin and gradient lacquered metal, all by CHANEL, April silk-satin hair clip in pink by Jennifer Behr, and Fira velvet-trimmed suede and flocked tulle pumps in black by Jimmy Choo.

The new muse … Founded in New York City by designers Beckett Fogg and Piotrek Panszczyk in 2014, AREA was named after the pioneering New York nightclub of the same name. As design students at Parsons the two creative minds bonded over a mutual love of ’80s glamour and feminine silhouettes. I feel so inspired by the label’s high-octane embellishments.
My look: Cropped crystal-embellished checked cotton and wool-blend blazer by AREA, distressed wide embellished paperback jeans by Miu Miu, suede-trimmed crystal-embellished mesh slingback pumps by Gucci, Cloud crystal-embellished suede clutch by Jimmy Choo, Cosette crystal-embellished velvet headband by Jennifer Behr, large crystal drop choker necklace by Alessandra Rich, and Big Bang All Black Zermatt by Hublot.

Say cheese! In Switzerland, you do that literally all the time, as it is the cheese capital of the world. Being such an integral part of its cuisine, the infamous cheese fondue and raclette are prime examples. During my stay at the Gstaad Palace, I ate at least once or twice a week at the so-called «Fromagerie» (French for cheesery), where those photos were taken. In case you wondering about the sausages, Swiss people like to start with a «Plättli» (little plate) of dry meat.
As this kind of food is pretty heavy and also very odorous, I recommend wearing something comfy. I love this mountain look, it is the perfect combination of being stylish, yet cozy. And the best is yet to come, the back of the sweater is open, so you don’t get too hot!
My look: Crochet-knit collar mohair-blend sweater, and crystal-embellished pleated wool tartan midi skirt, both by Miu Miu, crystal-heart drop clip earrings by Alessandra Rich, wide bow hair clip by Jennifer Behr, Aria 105 suede pumps in dark blue by Aquazzura, and Cassandra medium YSL-plaque dark green leather cross-body bag by Saint Laurent.

Today some creative vibes from my side. The toughest part of my outfit posts is getting the photos done. My daughter used to do them for me, but since she moved to Boston, I lost my photographer. Being dependent on others is something I hate. Therefore I decided I will start taking them myself, and here is my first try. It is quite time-consuming, putting on the timer, running into position and hoping for the best. However, I think you still get a good impression of today’s look. Light blue and nude blend in perfectly with the landscaping in Gstaad and Valentino’s new Roman Studs are just beautiful. Wouldn’t you agree?
My look: Crystal-embellished belted wool and silk-blend crepe mini dress, and Roman Stud quilted leather shoulder bag, both by Valentino, Iriza 100 patent-leather pumps by Christian Louboutin, and Rosamund silk-faille headband by Jennifer Behr.
