Amsterdam has so much more to offer than its famous Red Light District. With over one million residents, it’s the largest city in the Netherlands and a creative, cultural hub. The Stedelijk Museum for example is absolutely worth a visit with its great exhibition of modern and contemporary art as well as design from the early 20th century up to the 21st century. It features artists such as Vincent van Gogh, Wassily Kandinsky, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Marc Chagall, Henri Matisse, Jackson Pollock, Karel Appel, Andy Warhol, Willem de Kooning, Marlene Dumas, Lucio Fontana, and Gilbert & George.

The Stedelijk is located at the Museum Square in the borough Amsterdam South, where it is close to the Van Gogh Museum, the Rijksmuseum, and the Royal Concertgebouw, that are all must-sees when being in the Dutch metropole.

One of the best ways to have some fun in Amsterdam is to get on a bike or vespa as I did and see the city on a set of wheels. I had heard about the city’s famous Red Light District well before my trip. In Amsterdam, both marihuana and prostitution are legal. Leaving nothing to the imagination, some stereotypes about this area are true, there are plenty of sex shops, peep shows, brothels and prostitutes in red-lit windows. The area is bustling with visitors and groups of tourists.
My look to explore the town: Black cotton parka by Balmain, dress with leather and lace appliqué by Saint Laurent, biker boots by Miu Miu, Boy bag with chains by Chanel, diamond bracelet by Vainard Fine Jewellery, rose diamond ring and Limelight Gala watch, both by Piaget and sunglasses by Marni.
Tulips are also an integral part of the Dutch city’s life and you see them everywhere.
Stay tuned as I will show you more from Amsterdam soon…

Visiting Amsterdam, the Venice of the North, was truly a lot of fun. Thanks to its 400-year-old waterways, which are criss-crossed with tons of bridges, the city offers lots of picturesque places to enjoy. Here you see me heading to dinner at Izakaya, a culinary hot spot in Amsterdam, Japanese food at its best.
My look: Studded leather dress, knit cardigan with stud embellishments, Janis embellished suede ankle boots, all by Saint Laurent, Boy bag with chains by Chanel, Limelight Gala watch and rose diamond ring, both by Piaget and diamond bracelet by Vainard Fine Jewellery.

«Being well dressed is a beautiful form of politeness», I couldn’t agree more with this quote. So this was my outfit that I wore to the Art in Park XIII event Mid June to honor the work of British Pop Artist Allen Jones.

Generally speaking, sequins got a huge upgrade during the last seasons, they are definitely no longer for the night time party girls only, they look sophisticated for the office, your shopping trip or wherever you like to go. Sequins can easily transition from day and night and don’t forget they provide an instant light on your face! I wore this dress in Los Angeles during the day (for the previous post, please click here) and yesterday in Sardinia at Forte Village for a night out dancing.
My look: Daga sequined bandage dress (30% off now) by Hervé Léger, Bianca metallic elaphe sandals and beaded bracelet, both by Saint Laurent, patchwork clutch by Prada, Limelight Gala watch by Piaget and diamond ring by Vainard Fine Jewellery.
Don’t let anyone dull your sparkle! Shine on!

As you already know, I am on vacation in Sardinia, staying at the beautiful Forte Village resort in the Villa del Parco hotel which is surrounded by lush gardens and a magic forest. Curly hair, only a little lipgloss, then you know, I am on holidays…
When it comes to travelling, I love to pack Missoni and Hervé Léger because both brands make clothes that are timeless, don’t wrinkle and are easy to stuff in a suitcase. Can you imagine that I bought this dress around 12 years ago?!
My look: Multicolored dress by Missoni, gold-plated multi-stone necklace by Etro, Anita fringed suede shoulder bag and beaded leather sandals, both by Saint Laurent, diamond ring by Vainard Fine Jewellery and Limelight Gala watch by Piaget.

Happy May 1st, my dear readers! Time flies and I cannot wait for summer to arrive and to wear my new season’s pieces. Unfortunately, its has still been a little chilly lately. This Altuzarra jacket, which I love, is very loyal to weather changes as you can carry it like a backpack! Smart dressing at its best!
My look: Manray leather-trimmed shearling jacket by Altuzarra, studded sweater dress and ‘Babies’ studded mid-calf boots, both by Saint Laurent, Kelly ‘So Black’ bag by Hermès, pearl embellished sunglasses by Chanel, diamond ring by Vainard Fine Jewellery and Limelight Gala watch by Piaget.

My life is busy and I feel extremely blessed because I do everything with love and passion. I love my job, I love my life and I am the most happy when travelling the world. Last week started off terribly. My mail system and my iPhone both broke at the same time. Great news for an editor-in-chief and a blogger, especially when it happens while travelling and you cannot access anything or do something about it. So I thought “whatever” and tried to make the best out of it… time to sport the sequined gun bag!
My look: Denim vest and sequined gun shoulder bag, both by Saint Laurent, lace and gingham sweater dress by Carven, Monogram scarf by Louis Vuitton, suede and ostrich thigh boots by Emilio Pucci, Limelight Gala watch by Piaget and diamond ring by Vainard Fine Jewellery.
